Don’t miss out on shell mound and the lower Suwannee - only 15 minutes away. This stay was the perfect way to unplug and connect with nature. The town was serene. I will be definitely be back. *** Highly recommend downloading an offline map of the area….I do this when traveling sometimes but didn’t plan ahead for this trip. I had service and WiFi at the Airbnb but the majority of the island and surrounding area was hit or miss on reception.

Amazing place to stay for a quick visit. Wish we could have stayed longer. Yuliya was so sweet to let us check out an hour later so we could bike around the island. We will be back!

Great little place in a quiet neighborhood. The house itself is beautiful. Looks like a dollhouse. The neighborhood is quaint. A step back in time. My only suggestion would be a couple of chairs for the cute little upstairs porch for stargazing.

This place is the cutest little place for a couples getaway. The house is very cozy and has everything you need. It was close to Main Street and lots of restaurants. We will for sure be back.

Highly Recommend! Found this gem last minute for a spontaneous weekend get away with hubby. Amazing views!! The place was just adorable and we felt so comfortable right from the greeting by Sonya; She was delightful. Dace was on top of everything, and patient with me being somewhat new to AirBnB. I have to admit, the elevator did make me feel ritzy for a weekend too, loved that! I know hotels have them but it’s different in a house & going up 4 floors! Oh, and no need to stop at the Welcome Center before check in. Sonya & Dace have everything you need in a binder right there on the table! Super helpful & saved us a stop. lol We will 100% stay here again!

We loved the over the ocean place! The 2 balconies made me fall in love with this spot! Everything was so beautiful! Everything is within walking distance. They've done a beautiful job recovering from the hurricane. We kayaked the ocean for 2 days and there's even a spot to keep the kayaks down by the carport. When I come back to Cedar Key I'll definitely stay here again.

Due to Hurricane Helene, Patricia was very proactive and had our reservation to another unit at the same location that was great. We appreciated her doing that for us and would stay with her again when her unit is back in order. We love Cedar Key!

We came down and stayed for our daughter’s softball tournament. Pamela and her husband were so kind and helpful during our stay. The amenities weren’t even all included in the description. They had so much to offer and we’re already planning on coming back when we can enjoy everything that was included with the stay! Eaton’s, Francesco’s, and Cafe Lucia’s are certainly go-to’s for meals. All three offered gluten free selections and had a delightful atmosphere.

Our second stay at Garys place. Just as great as the first. We will be back!!

Debra's home was clean, comfortable and well stocked with amenities. I would definitely stay there again when I return to the area and highly recommend it!

Margarita House was a great place for our month long stay in The Villages. Kathleen was very responsive to my question, always responding in a timely manner. The house felt so spacious and airy with high ceilings and a nice layout of comfortable furniture. The next door and backyard neighbors were so friendly, the best that we’ve encountered in our 4th visit! The house comes with a larger than usual backyard and great afternoon shade on the patio. We enjoyed this area of The Villages! Thanks Kathleen for hosting us!

This place was amazing! Bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable. The screened in areas were wonderful. We all enjoyed the pool and it has a perfect boat dock for our boat. Kitchen was fully stocked for everything we needed. We loved everything about this house!

The owner came over to help us with a locking issue for the door. He was very helpful and friendly. He recommended going to The Freezer for dinner. Super spot to eat.

Cedar Key is now my favorite beach spot. Old Florida feel, beautiful community and a beautiful home.

I recently stayed at Pelican Vacation Home in Cedar Key, and it was an incredible experience! The stunning views of the Gulf and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape. The home was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The large deck quickly became our favorite spot for watching the sunrise and sunset, all while enjoying the ocean breeze. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the comfortable bedrooms ensured a restful stay. The location was ideal—just a short walk to Cedar Key’s quaint shops, restaurants, and the beach, yet still offering plenty of peace and quiet. We also enjoyed kayaking and exploring the local wildlife. The owners were wonderful—responsive and helpful from start to finish, making our stay seamless. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home and stunning views, I highly recommend Pelican Vacation Home. We can't wait to visit again!

We loved Cedar Key. The town is working so hard to come back after the hurricane in the Fall of 2024. We’ve never vacationed at a place where people were so friendly. There’s a few restaurants that are open, welcoming and good. There’s seafood - crabs, oysters and shrimp, for sale on CK. It’s a terrific place to watch sea birds and the tides. We enjoyed kayaking to the surrounding islands. There are lots of fishing boat charters. We could walk all around town and did every day. The biggest downfall is the grocery store was destroyed during the hurricane. There are quite a few small towns within 1/2 hour to an hour drive. We planned activities in those areas and stopped at their grocery stores. Cedar Key is a great place to visit.

Lori’s place is a nice, quiet Airbnb set off a beautiful tributary off the Gulf. It’s clean and safe, which is my first priority. The kitchen is well stocked for home-cooked meals, and bathrooms have plenty of towels and hot water. Good restaurants are within walking distance. I would certainly stay here again.

Peaceful and scenic. Well-stocked kitchen and comfortable seating and bed. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. Right down the road from the marina is a huge bonus! Hope to stay again.

It was our 1st time staying in Cedar Key. This property was roomy, beautifully furnished and very clean. The view was so so pretty. The public beach was super close. The area was like a nature preserve. Many types of birds and wildlife. It was very easy to relax here. Katie was a very attentive hostess. We definitely recommend this location and we will come back and stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

This is our 2nd time at Cedar Key, including same building, now in the corner unit. We booked to return last Oct but you probably know the story. You can't beat the view from this unit! It's just 6 month since Hurricane Helene but the town has been working very hard to restore its charm to the original state as close as possible. We weren't disappointed. We ate at the 2d St Cafe/Steamers several times. Never a disappointment! Also sampled Prickly Palm's smoothies once again, excellent! We rode the Island Tour on Thursday, hats off to "Captain Nick" for a very enjoyable ride (Cedar Key Island Tours). And on Friday, we rode in Pilot Bill's beautiful Cessna 172 for a 30 min air tour of the area, courtesy of Cedar Key Air Tours. Wednesday was Manatee Springs, outside of Chiefland. Sadly no manatees. The unit was as it was presented. Very quiet, except for the contractors working next door. Can't be helped. People are trying to rebuild the damaged homes. Am out of characters.
