Stayed at Marshall’s place for a couple of days to visit our daughter at UNCW and stay somewhere that had a kitchen, enough room for us all, as well as a nice big yard for our dog to run around in. The house did not disappoint!! Each morning, the wife and I walked down to the riverfront for coffees as well as a little site seeing along the way. We went to the beach one day, which was a short drive away. We were also able to cook for our small family in the well stocked kitchen. An all-around great experience!! Will definitely stay again!

We had planned a family trip with dogs but due to a family emergency we ended up with one adult and one 8 year old kid. So we didn't use the yard or pet amenities but I can tell it would have been perfect for our dogs. Things we loved -The walk to the beach was actually shorter than we expected. -The beds were soooooooo comfy! -So many extra useful things in the pantry, cabinets and laundry. -The location was very private and quiet. Keep in mind that this is an older house with what appears to be DIY renovations that are a bit quirky and may not be as polished as some other rentals in the area. However, I still think it's a great deal for a family with dogs!

We loved our stay and will definitely stay again! Quiet neighborhood, easy to find, super easy check-in, and for us, about half way between Univ of Mt Olive and beaches (we took the dogs to Emerald Isle several times). Katy was extremely responsive, had everything ready in advance, and thought of just about everything we could have needed for our stay (right down to paperclips in the office). The yard is very large and safe, the house clean and as described, and very welcoming. She left treats and toys for the dogs (and snacks for us!) upon arrival and went out of her way to provide and set up appropriate sized kennels for our dogs in advance of arrival. It was difficult for us to find a host as welcoming of our two large dogs as Katy was. We were turned down by several hosts when they found out the size of our pups (80 and 65 lbs). Katy never balked at that and we felt very, very welcomed at her home. Highly recommend with or without furry family

What a lovely place - Exceeded our expectations- quiet, comfortable, clean and convenient; another plus, super close to downtown. We were there for 22days while our house was being renovated and felt right at home. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for your hospitality!

We loved our week long stay here, with a great cozy atmosphere and all you could need and more it made the visit a breeze! Gladly come back anytime we’re in the area.

We fell in love with this little bungalow! It was so clean and had everything you could need or want! Super convent location to so many things! You could literally hear the ocean and it was so peaceful! We can’t wait to come back with our family! Highly highly recommend!!! And of course the hosts were so welcoming and communicated well!

This place was exactly as listed. The access to the beach made it so easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely return.

The home was beautiful and the perfect size for my friend and I on our girls trip! The place was clean and smelled good! We enjoyed the full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available in the bathroom!

Booked this place for a local half Ironman triathlon. it was perfectly located between all the sites I needed to get to afford the event but also close to several restaurants and beach and downtown. exceptionally clean and cozy place, quiet and peaceful. Friendly and extremely responsive host. Will book it again next year when I come back to race. Highly recommend it.

We chose the Tipsy Turtle for our annual family New YEAR beach getaway. This house was our best stay of any beachhouse we've rented. It was exactly as they stated, spacious, well decorated and clean. it felt like home immediately. the grand kids enjoyed every minute. The host and co-host stayed in communications immediately when we asked any questions. This home and the host have ruined us for all other host. We have already booked our next stay and can't wait to go back

This place was amazing! The pool was beautiful and great for our family. We always take our dogs on vacation and the fenced in back yard was awesome. The ping pong table, foosball table and games kept us busy as well. Felt like home away from home. I would definitely come back next time we are Wilmington. Great place for families and dogs.

Our family of 7 adults love the town of Beaufort and Beau Coast was a fantastic community to enjoy. Edith's home was beautifully decorated and had everything we could need. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the front porch in the rocking chairs and everyone was so hospitable as they rode by and said 'hey'!

This was a wonderful place to stay! We had a large group of 12 people and everyone had plenty of room and there were many things in the house to keep the group entertained (many TV’s, pool table, swimming pool, and the awesome fire pit with swing chairs around it). Alex was an awesome host and responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. We all enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

This home is was a great option for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Had plenty of room and utensil’s. The living space was great and worked well for our family. Having the fenced in backyard was great for our dog. The high chair and crib plus the pack and play was perfect for our grandchildren. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and all our guests commented about how comfortable the beds were which is important. Great location with plenty of things around. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area with a large family.

This was a clean, comfy stay for two people. The location was good for us; near the Wrightsville Beach bridge, and close to one of our favorite places to eat, the Bluewater Waterfront Grill. This is a converted hotel-type room, but it had all the necessary amenities for coffee-making and light cooking. The bed was comfortable for a great night's sleep!

We loved every minute of our stay! The property was so peaceful and beautiful. The kids loved fishing in the pond, and caught plenty of fish. With the pool, hot tub, gardens and game room, there was a lot to do and no reason to leave the house! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. We will definitely be back to stay again!

This property is truly a hidden gem! Perfectly situated near the beach but strategically positioned to offer protection from the wind—you get all the benefits of a beachfront location without sand blowing everywhere during your stay. The location couldn't be better for beach lovers. Just a short walk to the sand, but set back just enough to create a peaceful retreat after a day of sun and surf. Jill was an exceptional host throughout our entire stay. Her attentiveness made us feel well taken care of—she regularly checked in to ensure we were enjoying the property and promptly offered assistance whenever needed. The property itself was lovely and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway, and we hope to return soon!

This is the perfect home to make beautiful memories! Each of the four bedrooms had a balcony which we loved. There is ample bathrooms for a large group. The outside private shower is a real plus especially for the beach. The covered area was nice and cool. The area is amazing. We sat on the front deck and watched the sun set and could see for miles. The bridge is beautiful at night. The park was a 2 minute walk and the beach a 4 minute walk. This was great for the kids! The hosts were always quick to respond and have made this a welcoming place to stay.

Carolina Beach is always a fantastic place to stay. Island time was quaint, well equipped and within walking distance to a public beach access. You can hear the waves from the ocean and take in the view of the canal across the street while enjoying the breeze on the small deck. Would recommend and will book again.

The house exceeded expectations, was spotless when we came in and a 30 second walk from the closest beach access. We will definitely be booking again

The best for location, money and privacy. Within walking distance of everything, has everything you could need in your time away from home and very well kept! Would definitely stay again.

Really nice stay. Single room and bathroom in historic house. Short walk to Castle Street with great restaurants, coffee shops and stores. Also walkable to downtown and waterfront. Katherine a very responsive host, thought of everything. Communucated frequently and left a list of restaurant recommendations. Complimentary bottle of wine and a corkscrew. Clean, well-appointed room. Snacks. A fridge and microwave. On a main street but set back, some noise but mostly very quiet and private. Charming. Just very nice and near perfect for one person or a couple.

Our stay at the little “inn” tuition was amazing. We were down in NC for a wedding and the location was central to all our friends and the venues for the events. The hot tub was especially a treat at the end of the day. Although we did not need the use of the kitchen I was pleasantly impressed with all the spices and cookware available. The suggestions for places to eat were also very helpful. I have already recommended this particular location to friends when they want to visit the area.
