Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

What a wonderful weekend away. This is the perfect place to come to for a few days if you just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It's so peaceful on the farm, no sound of cars or loud music. Not another person in sight! A beautiful home with lots of bathrooms and also a great place to braai (This is a must if you go away for a weekend). The home was beautiful and clean, with all the items that you would require while on holiday. A brand new toothbrush in the packaging , as well as toothpaste were also available (something guests often forget, so those little extra touches were wonderful. But without a doubt, the best feature was the outside shower (with hot water). Thanks Candice

De locatie van het verblijf is super, je loopt vanuit de tuin zo het strand op. Daarnaast zijn alle winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. De communicatie met Alison is ook erg prettig. Langebaan en de woning van Alison hebben ons positief verrast en we komen zeker terug.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place, with a lovely view over the dam and surrounding mountains. Beds were super comfortable and and the house was lovely. Thank you Yvette for your thorough instructions how to get there and following up to see if all was well. We hope to be back soon again.

The house was incredible and the amenities were fantastic. The house had everything we needed and more. We really felt welcome and at home. Beautiful decor. There were a couple good restaurants and grocery stores nearby, although the store area and surrounding neighborhood felt a bit sketchy at times. The neighborhood where the house is felt very safe and comfortable to walk in.

It was (as always) incredible. We feel so at home and welcome and we are always heart broken when it’s time to leave.

A stunning and peaceful retreat! The beautiful surroundings made for a perfect escape, and the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts’ thoughtful touch of providing bread, milk, and butter was a lovely surprise. Relaxing in the hot tub next to the river was pure tranquility, and having kayaks available made the experience even more special. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay, I wish we could have stayed even longer but I am really happy to have booked an extra night than was the original plan.

Wir haben genau das vorgefunden, was Marleen auf ihrer Seite darbietet! Alles war super sauber, mit Liebe vorbereitet und mehr als ausreichend von der kompletten Einrichtung her (Pantrybereich = alles was man / Frau braucht, sogar eine Flasche Wein zum Empfang im Kühlschrank ;) / Bad = Seife / Handtücher, 1 x wöchentlicher Wechsel; gleiches gilt für den Schlafbereich = super kuschelig und für 2 Personen mehr als ausreichend)! Sprich, wir haben uns mehr als komplett wohl gefühlt und auch der Außenbereich ist absolut fantastisch (allein der Blick vom Balkon)!!!! Ihre 2 Hunde und 2 Katzen sind, nach einem Willkommensgruß, mehr als handzahm und kuschelig. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit absolut sicher dort gefühlt, wozu auch der im Außenbereich Kamera gesicherte und Security Service beigetragen haben. Auch ImHoffs Farm ist sehr empfehlenswert, weil man dort nicht nur Shoppen und lecker schlemmen kann, sondern auch für den täglichen Bedarf das ein oder andere findet.

This apartment is a little gem. It’s got everything you need for a nice stay, loved and appreciated the coffee set up. The view is amazing. There are several restaurants and a coffee shop with a few blocks. The city bus stops close by and the hop on hop off bus is just down the street. Everything was just lovely- great host too!

Klein aber fein. Schönes, sauberes Apartment. Super in der Nähe des Strandes gelegen. Janine und Trevor sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder.

Check-in mit persönlicher Begrüßung inkl. Rundgang in der Wohnung und dem Gebäude. Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben und von der Lage super. Direkt am Strand und Einkäufe, sowie Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar. Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage sehr vorteilhaft, besonders am Wochenende. Liam war immer erreichbar und mega hilfsbereit. Ein toller Aufenthalt und wenn Muizenberg Beach, dann wieder in der Cozy Corner.

My boyfriend, our 3 dogs and I stayed for my birthday weekend. The cottages are perfect, the bed is super comfy, the day bed outside the kitchen is the perfect chill spot. The donkey shower is easy to get going and gives you an amazing hot shower. Loved the little details, body scrub in the shower, cute pot of honey in the kitchen. The view is gorgeous and we even got to see a lightning storm in the valley below the cottage. You could probably hike the whole farm over a week, so many great trails to walk and run. The dam was a bonus on a hot day after a hike. The host Hope was lovely and very responsive. Would also be an epic winter getaway spot, I would have loved to get the indoor fires going. Loads of wildlife on the farm, heard baboons in the distance on the mountain, saw various bokkies, zebra & horses. Perfect place for ours dogs to roam around, they're completely exhausted. I can't fault the place, it's wonderful and I would 10/10 stay again

I absolutely loved my stay. The farm is so scenic and peaceful. The cottage is much bigger than it looks on the photos. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. There are loads to see and do. Especially if you love birds. Beautiful and easy walking trails. Perfect to break away. The hosts are kind, helpful and passionate about the farm.

We (family of 4 including 2 small boys aged 4 and 2) had an awesome stay here. The place is absolutely beautiful and great for kids. Lots of space to run around, a nice pool and several farm animals (sheep, turkeys and donkeys). Our kids also got to feed the animals. Renier and Shané were lovely hosts and the communication very easy. We would love to stay here again next time we are in Stellenbosch!

Nice house, which is located in a large garden. One of the major advantages: the house is located in between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. It is the ideal place from where to reach interesting destinations. The sundown shown in the image is real. In the garden on top of the hill, Liebrecht set up a wooden "sundown"-terrace with deckchairs.

Very beautiful chalet, with excellent construction quality — it’s a real pleasure. Everything is just right, nothing is missing, and all is of high quality. The place is spacious and incredibly peaceful. We highly recommend it — a truly wonderful experience, very calm and perfect for stargazing in the gorgeous hot tub, with firewood provided.

This place is nothing short of stunning. Only an hour away from Cape Town, yet a world of it own. Wish we could have stayed a week. With Darling, Yzerfontein and the National Park with Geelbek flamingos and Church haven on the lagoon all in very easy reach. You simply do not want to leave. Wes Kus is die Bes Kus

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hill Cottage. We loved swimming in the dam, we walked in the vineyard and then soaked in the stars. We will be back!

Hemel op aarde, wat een heerlijke cottage op een prachtige en rustige plek. Op de tuin route een fijne afwisseling tussen diverse hotels. We genoten van het uitzicht, de rust, natuur maar ook alles wat het huisje te bieden had: goede bedden, fijne airco, de braai. We hebben 1 avond van de braai genoten en de andere avond heerlijk gegeten bij restaurant Blue vines, aanrader. Mochten we ooit weer in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker terug!!
