Our family truly enjoyed staying at Chiri Glamping. Our son had a great time climbing on the rock wall, swinging, sliding, and soaking in the hot tub. The bed and linens were the most comfortable of all our accommodations in 12 nights in CR - luxurious and plush. The bathroom was surrounded by nature and the shower products were soothing and relaxing, and everyone had their own robe. The essential oils were a nice touch, and the ac kept the room cool and inviting. We cooked dinner in the well stocked kitchen, and my husband got an amazing cocktail in the beautiful restaurant. The front desk staff was friendly, thorough, and escorted us to our room. The view overlooks Santa Elena and it was striking to watch the clouds come in and then go out within minutes. This is truly and special experience. We did hear music in the night from a nearby business and there was a bike race in the morning that woke us quite early, but in this convenient to town location, it is inevitable. Recommended!

Villa Cupola in Runaway Bay was an incredible escape, especially during Christmas! From the stunning views to the tranquil atmosphere, everything was perfect. The villa is beautifully designed, with an infinity pool overlooking lush landscapes and stylish, comfortable interiors that felt like a luxurious home away from home. The highlight was the exceptional food by Jane and Joy. Every meal was a masterpiece—unforgettable oxtail, tender Christmas turkey, and perfect pancakes each morning. Their warm hospitality made the experience truly special. The host went above and beyond with thoughtful Christmas touches, fresh fruits, and great tips on local spots. After enjoying a bit too much holiday rum, the comfortable beds and peaceful surroundings made for the best sleep ever. If you’re looking for a relaxing, sun-soaked, and indulgent getaway, Villa Cupola is the place to be. Highly recommend it—I’ll definitely be back!

La estadía fue espectacular, un lugar para desconectar con el día a día y conectar con la naturaleza del lugar. El lugar es tal como se muestra en las fotos y la ubicación es perfecta, justo a la par de una playa hermosa. 100% recomendado.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt this home away from home. The cabin is very comfortable yet rustic and close to nature. We woke up super zen, with the sounds of howler monkeys on the background and the view over the volcano, really doesn’t get any better! Our only regret is not staying longer. The breakfast in the morning is fresh and delicious and the hosts are friendly and respond quickly.

We had an amazing glamping experience! Falling asleep to the sounds of birds at night and waking up to their songs in the morning was truly unique. The hot tub was a highlight—we immensely enjoyed it! The bathrooms were spotless, and the overall accommodation was incredibly relaxing. To top it off, we even caught a glimpse of a macaw’s nest! Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

El lugar es muy cómodo, y tal cual se ve en las fotos y hay de todo para tener una estancia agradable! Por las noches se puede ver a la perfección las estrellas ya sea desde el jacuzzi o desde la net ubicada afuera. En general, mi novia y yo disfrutamos mucho del alojamiento de Karla

The eco domo was exactly as described so I rated 5 stars across the board based of off surface value. However, there are a few things to note to fully enjoy your experience. It’s noted that you need a 4x4 to get to the property. We have a 4x4 ford pick up truck and it’s almost bottomed out multiple times. So be very cautious while driving. The dome itself is beautiful- the view is spectacular and the extra touches with teas and drinks is lovely. The bed is extremely comfortable but a couple extra pillows would have made it better and because you’re in a dome I highly suggest a sound machine. You could hear everything, including the neighbouring guests checking in (with music blaring) at 11:30 at night. I could also hear their conversations. None of that is the hosts fault- however be prepared if you’re a light sleeper. The food you can order on site is absolutely delicious! I highly suggest ordering from them. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We loved it here! It was absolutely beautiful and so serene. Our toddler LOVED the pool and thought the dome was so cool. It was the perfect ending to our trip. The property had had an incident the night before and they were very transparent and offered us to cancel for free - which we declined and we are so happy we did!! My only suggestion would be to net the tree cutouts on the deck as they’re a bit dangerous for kids, but this would never stop us from staying here again with our toddler.!

This place was perfect! Exactly as described, Very secluded with stunning views and a very very comfortable bed. 2:30 hrs away from San Jose but 20 mins away from La Fortuna Restaurants/ supermarkets , I rented a car and didn’t have a 4x4 so it’s accessible (just drive slowly over the rocks). They offer booking services which was 10/10 - I booked a full day hiking tour, spa and car rental for my entire trip through the service. Few notes: (1) There’s a bit of plasticky smell - it was strong upon arrival but after you take a shower it’s pretty much dies down. (2) its somewhat noisy at night with the animals (3) it was chilly in the morning / night -but there’s a heater lol so use the heater! All in all, it’s worth it and I would definitely recommend.

This place was exactly like the pictures. What you don’t see in the photos: the amazingly peaceful setting these domes sit in. The cherry on top was how personable the host was. She waited outside the property to make sure I got in ok after a long day. I was solo traveling and debated on whether it’s worth spending a little more when I’d be out for most of the day exploring. But I am so glad I did! This place and the town was what I wanted to experience and be around. Wendy and Roger ~ thank you for the awesome space and warm welcome!

We loved staying at this Airbnb in the trees. We didn't have a car, and I was a little worried it might be hard to be based here. It turned out to be no problem at all - most activities in Monteverde offer to pick you up for a small fee if you need a ride, and this Airbnb happens to be situated on the way to almost everything we did. We were always the last picked up and the first dropped off, so it worked out really well. It was also super easy to call taxis there. Vero and Mau are very thoughtful and really equipped the place with everything we might have needed. For full disclosure I need to mention that the construction noise was present for what seemed like all daylight hours for while we were there. I don't think it's fair to deduct a star for something that is clearly not the fault of the owners, but the construction noise definitely detracted from the magic. Hopefully it will be done soon and not affect future guests - this place is really amazing.

Clean, safe and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay at the Igloo Dome. On Utila, it is convenient to be near town and this location was perfect.

She was proactive and extremely helpful. the facilities were spotless by US and EU standards, well above anywhere else I have seen in CR. I highly recommend this place and will return.

Firstly, easily one of the best hosts I’ve ever had at an Airbnb! Carlos answered all of my questions promptly and kindly. It was like conversing with an old friend. He even provided recommendations for a wonderful local wildlife guide *Eduardo* that made my brief trip to Costa Rica even more memorable. The views of the night sky through the dome ceiling are amazing and the setting is peaceful and full of life. There was a little lizard inside the dome as well as a wren bird! Luckily she got out safely :) but be prepared as this is an upscale camping experience so there will be creatures about! The wind can affect the power at times, but Carlos was quick to send out someone to check this issue. Absolutely amazing and I would love to stay again one day.

We loved staying here! It was a journey to get there but it was worth it! The dome had everything you could need and the breakfast we were able to great was one of the best meals from the trip!! Highly recommend

Die Unterkunft war wirklich ein kleiner Traum. Alles war wunderbar sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Bei der Einrichtung und Ausstattung wurde auf viele kleine Details geachtet. Auch der Garten ist zauberhaft – perfekt, um draußen zu essen oder gemütlich Zeit zu verbringen. Restaurants und Geschäfte sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! 😊
