TRIP OF A LIFETIME! WOW! Just WOW! What can I say about Fort Morgan Cay, Islas de las Bahía and Mark & Julie that has not already been said? The island is breathtaking! Exactly like the photos but better! The staff is A+! The food was fresh & delicious! Mark was our host as Julie was sick during our stay in Feb 2024 and I feel like we made a lifetime friend even though we will probably never see him again, lol. His service did not skip a beat. He was extremely communicative prior to and during the trip. We always knew what to expect and were well informed. We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday here and I paid for almost ALL of the extras...sand sculpture, fire dancers, fireworks, snorkeling at Pigeon Cay, tour of local villages and mangroves, day tour of Roatan...Trust me it's worth it! We very much enjoyed our stay. The caretaker, Steven was very responsive and helpful. He went out of his way to take us to the grocery, a kayak tour, and arrange for transportation so we could enjoy a nearby resort. The property manager, Liz, was very helpful and gave us good advice on things to do. We were especially pleased with how well the kitchen was set with pots, pans and appliances. The pool was the star of the show and we spent many hours lounging and taking a dip. The house dogs, Molly and Maya greeted us every morning and are very sweet. It is a 30 minute drive from the house to a grocery, so it is important that one take this into consideration, and stock up when coming from the airport. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Incredible ‘off grid’ location. Super private and moments from stunning beaches. The facilities are basic but very functional and perfectly in keeping with the surroundings, with everything that is needed for a stay. On site dining is amazing with huge set breakfasts and very creative dinners with local ingredients. Extremely hospitable hosts that made us feel extremely welcome and relaxed.

The Villas were absolutely stunning. The kitchens were fully equipped overlooking beautiful views and infinity pools. Each bedroom had comfy king beds and full ensuite bathrooms. It was the perfect place to connect with family away from touristy places. But also a short drive to a variety of beaches. Our host, Fabrice, responded to my many questions from the start of reserving the villas and throughout our stay. He was the nicest person. The property and the villas were immaculate. The tourist town of Tamarindo is just over a 30 minute drive. We preferred the beaches closer to the villa as they were less crowded and perfect for swimming and surfing. Playa Negra was our favourite. And a couple of good restaurants in the town. We also did a hike in a National park near Santa Cruze, but staying on the property with all its amenities and bird life and monkeys in the distant trees is an attraction itself. Be sure to use the location coordinates to find the villas. Better than we imagined!

El lugar es muy tranquilo, tal cual la información que nos dan antes de reservar, si te gusta desconectarte de todo y estar en ambiente rústico y aislado está sería una opción genial, las islas aledañas son maravillosas. Literal para descansar.

The Palace was a great place to stay. We really enjoyed the exercise classes and the breeze on the yoga deck.

Spent a day in Ocho Rios with my family of 6 visiting Dunn’s River falls, and needed a place to stay overnight as we had a flight to catch the next day in Mobay. I booked at a different air bnb in a different gated community that went really bad, as we entered that house it was taken over by ants that my 2 young sons freaked out about and refused to stay there. So I was left without a suitable accommodation at almost 6 pm at night when I searched and came across this listing hosted by Janet and luckily it was available. I booked and it was ready for me within 20 minutes. Janet was a great host, the place was modern, very big screen TVs in all the rooms, locks and keys for each rooms in case travelling with a group, garbage bins everywhere, good size private backyard for kiddies to play or private couple time, AC kicks in instantly with cold air, separate beach towels provided, access to laundry to wash and dry my beach stuff, comfy bed and linens, and as my kids said…. NO ants/bugs!!!

Isola stupenda, esperienza unica. alloggi costituiti da autentiche e caratteristiche capanne situate in fronte al mare; servizi essenziali ma non manca nulla, cucina buona, forse poco variegata ma senz’altro tipica del luogo, e comunque cuoco sempre disponibilissimo. Personale discreto ma sempre disponibile. Si consiglia per amanti della natura e della semplicità

10 stars. The villa was great. The staff exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for a cozy space for few family or friends, this is your spot. Communicating with owner and staff was excellent, they were responsive and solution oriented. The space is well maintained and accurately depicted in photos. Both interior and exterior, pool, landscaping and the whole property are in great condition. Cheers to Colleen. She personified excellence and care. The housekeeping was good and the meals delicious and on time. I highly recommend this villa and I will definitely return.

Es un lugar hermoso, con una vista espectacular, nos encantó que estuviera todo muy equipado tanto en la casa como en las amenidades como kayak, snorkel y buceo. Está cerca de las playas más bellas de Roatan y cerca de punta gorda donde está la comunidad Garífuna. Nos encantó La Paz y tranquilidad que nos brindó a mi familia. Súper recomendado, seguro regresamos !!!

LOVED the whole experience! If you have never slept over the water, this is your chance to do so! Breathtaking view! The food that was provided was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and would recommend to other guests! Thanks again for the amazing experience!

Jay is always responsive and helpful. Blu Zen is an amazing resort. Beautiful location, good restaurants on site, nice pools and friendly staff. Jay’s place has one of the best locations at Blu Zen. It is beachfront as in you step off the deck into the sand! Clean and well maintained. Even if you have an issue during your stay, Jay and the Blu Zen team are quick to respond and fix it. Highly recommend.

Group of 7 ladies ranging from late 20s to early 60s. We had a GREAT time here! Things to know for future guests: - Must be able to walk / climb stairs - Tap water is safe to drink at this property - Bring water shoes as the beach water is rocky - CASH for Roatan is a must. (USD works) - Pudens lives on site and sets up the beach cabana bed, takes care of maintenance, and will take you snorkeling. He's GREAT! - Pudens can arrange for on site massages ($40 for 30 mins) - Desiree recommended Chef / Cleaner Sherilee and she was worth EVERY penny! - Pudens arranged for a boat tour for our group ($50 per person) - Hire a driver for your arrival, departure, and excursion days. You will probably not want to drive the roads yourself. Desiree arranges. This was everyone's first time in Roatan (and some were first time international travelers). We felt absolutely safe, well looked after, and delighted by this location. I recommend this place for adults or older children (preteen up). AMAZING!

The Living Waters home is incredible. Walk in the front door and the ocean is right in front of you. Daysi met us at the airport, directed us to Eldon's so we could stock up (get everything you think you'll need, we didn't find other stores on the island with similar selections and its 1 hour from the house). We had Dulce, helped by her daughter, cook a number of meals for us. They were a delight and food was great. If you don't have a car you can get to a few places. Go to Cliffsides for dinner. Camp Bay Lodge is a few places down, everything we ate there was very good. Still I'd recommend getting a car so you can explore the entire island, for activities and local restaurants. A lot of people love the east end of the island because it's remote, but do prepare for some very rough dirt roads. Going even 5 miles on the east end of the island might take 30+ minutes. Everyone uses "whatapp" to communicate, so get it before you go. We loved Roatan, super friendly people.

Spacious, bright villa with great views. The location is quiet and private. The gated community is safe. Communication and service were excellent, it’s like having full concierge around the clock. Everything you want or need you can get help with. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed excellent cappuccinos in the mornings. It’s a bit of a drive to West Bay but when you come home it’s so peaceful and relaxing that it is worth it. Our original Airbnb got canceled the day before our arrival and we were incredibly grateful that we found this gorgeous place and that they accommodated us so quickly and flawless.

Al Natural es un paraíso en la tierra, Michel el dueño un gran profesional siempre atento, el lugar paradisíaco, playas, selva. Duermes con ruido de olas del mar y animales de la Selva trasera. Comida espectacular tanto el desayuno como el almuerzo y la cena de otro mundo con velas y comida del chef Vicente con todos los alojados en el resort juntos comentando todo. El resort tiene paddle surf y kayaks y mascaras de buceo y aletas para relajarse. Aquí se va uno a relajar y estar con la naturaleza. En definitiva un espectáculo de alojamiento os lo recomiendo......

Loved staying at the Sun and Sea Beach House. It was in a perfect location for us. Close enough to town to be able to access many great restaurants but also very private. The porch was our favorite place to spend time anytime we were at the house. Mirko was always available to answer questions or take care of any of our needs. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

This little gem is absolutely magical. We were picked up in Bocas by the hosts friend and brought to this incredible place with only a 12 min boat ride from bocas. Their pictures don’t even do this place justice. The beauty is even better in person. I recommend eating the breakfast they offer. Absolutely fresh and delicious. We will be back for sure!

This was a wonderful place away from the crowds and noise we couldn't have asked for a better set up for my wife and I. We rented a golf cart which made getting to the house a lot easier as its a bit of a walk from the split ferry . We loved the North side of the Island and its peaceful lifestyle . we spent our days exploring the South side and its many restaurants and bars . We spent our nights eating on the North side of the island at Happy Lobster and our favorite restaurant of the trip Lotus . both are very close to the airbnb . La Fogata is a nice Pizzeria option as well. Bliss Beach is on the far north end and is a nice beach resort .
