We really enjoyed the warm hospitality. The location and the place instill peace and tranquility. Every request was answered efficiently. Shafi, the owner of the place and the service staff, did everything to make the stay pleasant. Invica Tour& Travel organized wonderful tours for us. We will definitely return to this Young Alzira Houseboat.

boathouse is very good, ad price is also reasonable at peak season and hoat is awesome, they serve my family till 1:00 AM Midnight without any tiredness and at next morning arrange tea and warm milk for baby. 5 out of 5

I was staying at The Victoria Garden with my family, so we would like to give full credits to him and his family for making us feel comfortable and treating us like own family. We simply found home away from home so strongly recommend this property to all future visitors. Couple of hours spent with Nazirbhai’s Mom and brother became our all time memories. Nazir bhai was warm and accomodating. The houseboat is clean and has bed heaters which keep you warm. Additionally, Nazir bhai has tie ups with local shikaras who can offer a tour of the Dal at a decent price. We stayed for one night and the next morning we got omlette and toast along with Kahwa (that's the default brekkie, perhaps a couple more options should help). Happy, would recommend.

don't feel afraid to book this property ! Shabir is a treat as a host, extremely accomodating( we were served delicious breakfast on demand at 7 am because we had to leave srinagar early). we even got dinner delivered to us, at the houseboat. at night you feel peace, away from the noisy boulevard road and experience a very good sunrise in the morning. all in all a great host, a very cozy property and a very pleasant stay. thankyou Shabir !

I had a wonderful stay at Tariq Boat house, the host has been really helpful, and the place is secluded from the rest of the Dal lake boats, so you will find peace and privacy. I would recommend this place for summer season, as during winter the lake will be so cold, and it’s not easy to survive.

The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and feature large windows that provide stunning views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The host Zubair is a standout feature of this experience. Their warm and welcoming demeanor sets the tone for a memorable stay. They go above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of your visit is perfect, from providing local insights and arranging excursions to offering personalized service. Their genuine care and attention to detail make you feel like a valued guest, enhancing the overall comfort and enjoyment of your stay.

Our stay was exceptional for mostly one reason: Shabir himself. No other Houseboat could possibly have the same experience without Shabir. They are all beautiful, ornate traditional generational vessels however they don’t have Shabir. He is incredibly courteous, ever mind full of his guests and nothing is too much trouble. We are three meals a day with him and coffees in between. Delicious and very well priced. We really enjoyed his company; he’s very smart and warm. Knowledgeable and friendly. An amazing human being and we thank him for taking such care when we were so far out of our depth culturally and climatically. He could not have done a better job and organise ‘home’ visits of local culture and wares ( beautiful cashmere and leather wool a fraction the price of the markets and pure quality ) and onward transport to Gulmarg for snow boarding. Saying goodbye was hard for us Thank you Shabir.

I had an comfortable stay at this beautiful houseboat on Dal Lake! The boat was clean, well-maintained, and had WiFi. A special mention to Jehangir, who made my trip even more special. His hospitality was exceptional—he was always there to help on the boat and ensured I had a smooth and enjoyable stay. The Shikara ride with him was a highlight! He navigated the lake, showing me views while sharing interesting stories about the area. It was peaceful and scenic. If you're looking for a unique and memorable stay on Dal Lake, this is a good choice.

Zahoor’s place is nice to stay at. He has been extremely helpful and always responsive. He is a great host. I would definitely recommend it for the stay in Srinagar. I look forward to visiting again!
