Neil and Eva were amazing hosts! They accommodated multiple changes in my reservation, and very responsive. home was beautiful and clean, great location out of the wind of the main lake. Every thing we needed was there. plenty of room for 3 trucks with trailers. launch is really close to home and made extremely convenient for launching and mooring! Slip in channel can accommodate only 2 boats, not 3 if owners boat is in slip. My wife and I will definitely be back soon, thank you again for everything!

This was our second time staying here & like the first, it did not disappoint. I can definitely see it becoming our come-to spot. It really has everything you need inside & out, for a nice, peaceful, relaxing time on the lake. We really enjoy our time here. The weather was perfect & fishing was great. The lake had a bit more algae this time, but that’s always iffy here & didn’t take away from being able to enjoy our time here. The nights were clear & cool & perfect for stargazing. Jeff is a fantastic host, kind & very responsive.

Quiet street, very nice deck and dock, and easy access to lake. Home was very clean, well equipped with kitchen equipment and plenty of bedroom/bathroom linens and towels. we only had a couple of questions once there and Robert responded in minutes. very satisfied with service and home.

The place is amazing, just like Daniele herself. The neighborhood is peaceful and private. The house's private dock gives access to the canal and the lake. The house is cozy with one full bathroom and a half-bathroom in the main bedroom. There's a fireplace in the spacious livinvroom and one fireplace in the backyard. There are fishing rods and lifejackets as well as kayak and a boat in the backyard. The kitchen has nearly everything you can possibly need. And most surprisingly, there are three adorable cats that live around the front porch of the house. We had an lovely time feeding and patting them. Daniele is a great host, she's proactive and very quick to respond to our questions. She's knowledgeable of the local community and was able to give us suggestions for our trip. I strongly recommend this place and would definitely love to stay here again.

Stayed overnight and totally enjoyed the quiet and peaceful place. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended and definitely will stay here again!

This place is amazing and such a nice retreat not too far north of the bay area. Often you find an Airbnb that isn’t fully equipped for cooking, bathing, living, etc. but this house is truly “turn key” and has everything you need. Add the grill and backyard space along the lake, and the arcade games, and it makes for a wonderful stay. We would love to stay again and again in the future whenever we need a quick break from the city.

This is a beautiful home located right on the water. The place was clean and the outside deck was a plus! The fridge made a loud buzzing noise during our stay but otherwise everything was perfect. 10/10 -- I'd recommend!

We had a great experience! Close to the Stagecoach lift made getting on and off the mountain easy. Appliances appeared to be new. Furnishings were comfortable and clean. 54 stair steps to the front door could be an issue for some but we knew that. Would stay there again.

We had a great time staying at Toni’s place. The location was perfect, with easy access to Golden Gate Park and quick transit routes to Ocean Beach and other popular areas of the city. We were grateful for the beautiful and well-equipped kitchen. The apartment is cleverly designed and with plenty of storage and natural light. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

I have nothing but good things to say about Heidi's place. I stayed here for all of February and found it quite accommodating for the length of my stay. The bed is quite comfortable and the bathtub was a great addition. This place gets great light, with a lovely outdoor porch, conveniently located near Lake Merritt. Would stay here again!

Loved this place! We’ve been traveling around a lot and seen too many lackluster Airbnbs so this unit was a breath of fresh air. The place was clean! It’s eclectic without being too crowded or busy. The kitchen table is cute, there are great books and lots of lovely stuff to look at. The kitchen is much better stocked than most and Bree was a breeze to communicate with. We needed to add an extra night and she made it super simple and responded quickly. It’s easy to walk the lake and get to restaurants on lakeshore or grand and also the farmers market on Saturdays. There are stairs but they help you get your steps in! We would easily stay here again!

A very comfortable to lay my head after long days. When I come back this way I will look them up first.

I would gladly live in this sunny apartment full time. It's quiet and roomy, with views of trees, but only a block from superb restaurants like Burma Superstar, and only a few blocks from Southshore Center and Alameda Beach. Its fixtures are somewhat outdated, but that's East Bay real estate for you.

Great stay. I was staying with a large group at the Westin. I rented Heidi's condo for a fraction of the cost of booking through the hotel. Friends who had booked through the hotel were actually on the same floor as us and Heidi's place is much nicer than the hotel's rooms! Great linens and towels, robes for a trip to the pool. Master bed was super comfy. Very clean and nothing "worn in". Everything you would need in a small space. My daughter slept on the sofa bed and was very comfortable. It is a small place but absolutely perfect for two people. Instructions were great and self check in easy as could be. Very highly recommended!!! Thank you Heidi we will be back!

We loved our stay! With the house right on the water, the views of the lake and mountains are stunning. The house was cozy and well appointed — everything was clean and so comfortable. The boat ramp was close and easily accessible. It was such peaceful and relaxing weekend. Would come back!

Lisa was a great host. Very quick to respond to our inquiries and sure to offer help with the surroundings. The cabin was clean and with everything we needed. Unfortunately because of the snow we had to make our trip short.

We had an amazing stay at Kierah’s place in Lake Hughes! The home was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape from the city, and we loved sipping coffee while taking in the stunning views. Kierah was a fantastic host — super responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with charm and comfort, this is it. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I visited and stayed in cottage 5 in June 2023. Recently, I was lucky enough to get the same cottage, it was really nice to experience the lake during winter season this time in February 2025. Jason and Elaine did a great job of keeping it clean. Me and my husband tried canoeing, and we got drifted away. The hosts were very quick in driving all the way and helping us get back safe to the Airbnb. Elaine also taught me fishing 🎣. It was a lovely visit 😊 Highly recommended for everyone.

Jays place is one of the coolest airbnbs that I’ve stayed at. Windows all over with great views and beautifully decorated and a well stocked kitchen. Will definitely return.

Debra was such an amazing host!! She took my friends and I in during the fire evacuations in LA and was so helpful during our entire stay. She brought us fresh eggs from her friend's farm and gave us great recommendations for places to explore in the area. The cabin was so cute and cozy, we all felt so at home! Thank you Debra!!

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn’s place. We loved spending a day on her deck overlooking the lake - so beautiful. We also took advantage of her fire table out front. She also had a sturdy fold out table for dining - we initially didn’t see it in the pictures but she actually had everything we needed to enjoy a full meal around a table. Bonus points that we could fold it away for more space when not using! Carolyn was also very responsive and checked in daily on how we were doing. Would love to come back!

This cabin was the perfect spot for our party of eight. The house was clean and the open kitchen was a great place to hang out to cook and enjoy meals together. The game room was in a separate building attached to the open garage and had a big TV with comfortable seating as well as a foosball table. The kids loved spending time in the game room playing foosball, and it was great ending each day with a movie night. The cabin was only an hour away from Yosemite and had a grocery store and several restaurants and a brewery nearby. Rakesh was quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed help with anything. Overall, I had a great experience.
