Great place to stay. We had a wonderful time here. Everything you need for your stay is here. It is nice, cosy and clean. The host is superhelpful and really provides everything you need. The place is really close to the sea, airport, lots of good restaurants and a supermarket. A very nice place to stay with friends or family. Just wonderful.

Mr Vaggelis is the embodiment of what we call Greek hospitality. Open-hearted and helping from the beginning, he made us feel like home by providing us with everything we would need for our stay. The 10 of us had an amazing trip and we would highly recommend the property and the host for your stay.

Searching for a peaceful place to just sit and feel the world turning ever so slowly, we found this one. It was farther than we wanted to drive, but the idea of our own slice of water and a secure place for the dog won out. We are glad we picked it. Penelope was a responsive host who answered all of our questions. The Nies Bay is as advertised. Quiet and private. We went for daily swims and sat or napped in the expansive outdoor space with its four olive trees and gazebo. We visited with a couple of stray cats. We didn't do much else. October is a slow time for the area, so the two nearby tavernas were only open on the weekend. This meant a 9-minute drive over the hill to Sourpi for a grocery store, two lovely coffee shops, a modern gyro place that opens at 7 p.m., and a taverna. The indoor bathroom is cramped and barely functional, though it was warm enough to shower outside. The two bedrooms are big enough with comfortable beds. The internet worked fine. There are zoned AC units.

We absolutely loved our stay from the first minute when Panayiotis and his son welcomed us so kindly, we felt at home right away. The house is stunning, really inspiring, and we loved the orange trees with thousands of fresh oranges in the garden. It was a great base to explore archaeological sights and villages within one to two hours’ drive. We thank Panayiotis and his son for letting us stay in their family holiday house and for their wonderful hospitality.

We had a lovely stay together with our daughters at Eirini’s place. The terrace near the beach is great! We had both enough sun and shadow. We used the grill a few times. You can have nice walks on the beach, depending on the tide, or among the olive trees near to the property. The sunrise is amazing from the upstairs apartment window, from the terrace, or the beach :)! We hope to visit again!

Το σπίτι ήταν πολύ όμορφο, όπως φαινόταν κει στις φωτογραφίες. Ήμαστε 4 άτομα, 2 ζευγάρια και μείναμε ικανοποιημένοι. Η οποία υγρασία, καθώς το σπίτι είναι δίπλα στη θάλασσα, έφευγε με το ξεκίνημα των κλιματιστικών ενώ κάποια λίγα νέρα στο μπάνιο λόγω υγρασίας δικαιολογούνται από το χειμώνα στο νησί . Η Αναστασία είναι εξαιρετική οικοδέσποινα, πάντα διαθέσιμη να εξυπηρετήσει και βοηθήσει. Το συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα θα το συνιστούσα σε όποιον θέλει διακοπές στη Σκύρο και να μένει δίπλα στη θάλασσα. Η απόσταση από τη χώρα είναι μόνο 5 λεπτά με το αμάξι, ενώ υπάρχει σουπερμάρκετ και ταβέρνα ακριβώς δίπλα στο σπίτι ( 1 λεπτό με το αμάξι)

Alexander’s property is really special. The garden is enchanting, the view of the bay is stunning, the little private beach is priceless and the terrace is a perfect spot for shady lunches and for enjoying the bats flitting about at dusk. The properties are indeed a little tired but this is a family-owned group of buildings, clearly loved and enjoyed and cared for. It feels like staying at one’s own Greek holiday home which is charming. Alexander and other family members who help manage the property were really helpful, friendly and responsive which we appreciated. They have sea kayaks and a giant paddle board which we were allowed to use so were able to access hard to reach beaches and explore a little lagoon not too far away. This is a busy island with a lot of public beaches; this holiday home offered a haven of peace and a quiet place to access the sea and sunbathe. There are sometimes people swimming past because the snorkelling is so good. We would happily return!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les hôtes dans cette belle et grande maison avec une vue extraordinaire sur la mer et les montagnes. La disposition des chambres et de toutes les pièces intérieures est impeccable, et l’espace de vie est agréable. Nous avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin, il ne manquait rien, tout est à disposition. Le matin comme a midi c'était un vrai bonheur de déjeuner sur la terrasse avec la magnifique vue de la mer et les montagnes. Avoir la possibilité d'aller à la plage à deux pas de la maison était vraiment super. Le grand espace extérieur permet de garer les voitures, et il y a également un espace barbecue ainsi qu’un terrain de sport. Nous nous sommes très bien divertis et nous avons des beaux souvenirs pour tout la vie. Les grands comme les petits de la famille ont été ravis des vacances dans cette maison et nous sommes tous d’accord là-dessus.

wunderschönes apartment direkt am meer mit in einem super nettem dorf. tolle gastgeberin! wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen auf jeden fall wieder! :)

Chris e Kathryn sono due persone deliziose, che conosco perfettamente il territorio poiché vivono qui da 20 anni e sono in grado di dare suggerimenti preziosi e interessanti. inoltre sanno essere accoglienti e disponibili mettendo a disposizione la frutta del loro terreno e il kayak di loro proprietà. il cottage è delizioso, con tutti i comfort, e offre pace e privacy totale immersi nella natura. l'assenza dell'aria condizionata non rappresenta un problema perché la casa è ventilata e la sera la temperatura scende molto rispetto al giorno.

Endroit incroyable, magnifique, isolé du monde. La maison est parfaite, avec beaucoup de couchages et tout le nécessaire pour passer de merveilleuses vacances. Cependant, il est indispensable de posséder un 4x4 ou SUV pour y accéder car la petite route qui y mène est un peu difficile mais ça vaut le détour ! Vasilis a été un hôte parfait.

We had a fantastic stay in this house! Everything was perfect: the warm welcome of Elena's mother, the views, the proximity of the beach (cannot be closer!), the beach equipment (our children loved the kayak), the beautiful garden and the terraces around the house! Note that also that the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. (As a side remark, when we were there, there were sometimes quite a few people on the small beach, but as there was space on the larger one, that was not at all an issue.)

The place is perfect for family vacation especially if you’re into close-to-nature place, love serenity and unity with the nature in an austere but quite comfortable conditions. The neighborhood is very local, quiet with no touristic hustle around. The sea is literally at your doorstep, you just dive into the water right from the backyard. Lots of good restaurants with fresh seafood within five minutes drive radius. Vasiliss was super responsive and proactive in terms of provision comfort of our stay. I’m thankful to him for a pleasant stay wish him the best of luck!

Sophies Villa is a great place to stay in Skopelos. It's close enough to the town's center, restaurants and marina yet far enough to be very quiet and private. The villa is equipped with everything required (maybe except for an oven), very clean and tidy and Sophie makes sure it stays clean the entire stay. There is a close by beach (small and not equipped) and a very nice swimming pool which is a little walk away but worth the few steps. The only thing that needs attention is the WiFi quality. On top of all that Sophie is a great host, always available and responsive and very very nice. We will certainly try to come again sometime.

Καθαρό, ευρύχωρο, εύκολο parking (αφήσαμε το όχημα ακριβώς από κάτω) και με ένα τεράστιο μπαλκόνι με θέα στην θάλασσα από τα δεξιά του. Το επισκεφτήκαμε Μάρτιο οπότε δεν μπορέσαμε να χαρούμε στις extra παροχές που προσφέρονται τους ζεστούς μήνες χωρίς αυτο να αφαιρεί κατι απο την εμπειρία. Το μεγάλο του σαλόνι επί της εποπτείας της Πυθίας προσφέρεται για μεγάλη παρέα και τα δωμάτιά του, μεγάλα και φωτεινά, για ήσυχη ανάπαυση. Η εξυπηρετιση ήταν άμεση σε ότι χρειαστείκαμε και η υποδοχή ο ορισμός της ΦΙΛΟΞΕΝΙΑΣ. Ευχαριστούμε για ολα κ. Παναγιώτη και θα τα ξαναπούμε ευκαιρίας δοθείσης.

A lovely little house overlooking Alyki. We loved the views from the terraces and the wood burning stove kept us warm during some of the colder evenings.
