We had a very pleasant and calm 4-nights stay, the house is beautiful, comfy and well equipped. Surroundings and highlands lakes are beautiful and not crowded. The view from the terrasse is indeed stunning and the name of the place (stunning lake view) is deserved ! The host gave clear instructions, was friendly and immediately responsive each time we had to contact her. We do recommend it !

I don't think I could write any review that would describe the absolute overall description of this place, I'm at my next location but all I can think about it's Kylie & Jason's slice of absolute heaven. The location is breathtaking, the dwelling is magical to say the least, impeccably clean, and the hosts are top notch legends.... Warning This place will leave you heartbroken when you know it's time to drive away... This was a memory of a life time.

Amazing house. Amazing location in the middle of nature. Just like the photos very peaceful house. Owner thought of everything. There was a piano, guitar, yoga mat, more than enough blankets... Wallabies were around at all times. We were nose to nose with wallabies at some point it was such a nice experience. comfortable furniture. the atmosphere was great. Will come again. Owner descibed how we were going to get there but even with instructions we had trouble finding the location. it took us 30 minutes to find the house after we arrived at Jackeys Marsh. I would recommend the owner putting more signs for the Airbnb or being more precise with the instructions. Owner said you will pass a bridge and turn left for the house. We passed three little bridges on the route the owner described so we thought we arrived drove around and realised we werent there yet. so just to let future visitors know. you pass 3 small bridges and thats when you know you are there. Still 5 star!

Melinda's farm cottage exceeded all our expectations. It was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery. We were greeted each morning by the chickens at the front door and often saw cows roaming the fields. The mountain views were breathtaking! The kitchen had everything we needed, including condiments, cookware, and utensils, making it easy to prepare a home-cooked meal. The fireplace was a wonderful touch, especially on the colder nights. The photos don’t do the cottage justice, it was the perfect place to relax, unplug, and recharge. It was also the special spot where my partner proposed, making our stay even more memorable. We would highly recommend Melinda’s cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable getaway 🙂!!

Peter’s house is lovely and really well equipped. The area itself is quite isolated so be sure to bring your own provisions. There’s small shop and petrol station and 2 good pubs. We loved our stay

Just a magical place and ideal for a break. Loved the stay here, I just wish I had longer to really switch off. A lovely host and very generous with supplies etc to make the stay super comfy. Rug up, this is beautiful central Tasmania so you’ll need your winter warmers. Plenty of blankets etc to keep you cosy inside. And that fire, fabulous!

Always a perfect stay. Have now stayed 4 times now, will be staying again in future without a doubt. Thanks again as always!

Staying at the Doctor’s was an absolute dream! The views were simply breathtaking—waking up to sunrise on the lake was an unforgettable experience. The home is perfectly situated to take in the natural beauty, whether relaxing on the jetty, sipping coffee by the window, or enjoying a sunset outside. The surrounding landscape is peaceful and perfect for kayaking or just walking around. It truly felt like an escape from the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for a place to unwind and soak in stunning scenery, this is it! I can’t wait to come back
