The place was far bigger than it looks and beautifully maintained. A lovely location, even in winter. The lodge also has GREAT coffee, hot chocolate, and hearty snacks. Parking can be tricky if you're bringing more than 2 medium-sized cars. There is additional parking at the main lodge, but requires 2 cars driving there to bring people back to your condo. (Not a problem; just worth planning for in advance.) We will definitely return!

Beautiful, secluded, tranquil, comfortable. Tyson communicated well and followed up frequently. Everything we needed was available. Will definitely recommend and return!

Omg this place was amazing and very relaxing just what we were looking for .. coffee in the mornings at the pergula was just what the doc ordered!! The relaxing sound of the spillway was just perfect . Than not to mention the 3 person hammock that was just perfect for the afternoon nap ... as for the place it was prestine and clean had everything u need to have an amzing stay... i had mentioned that the chairs were def not fat girl friendly jokingly and he had a nice chair for me that afternoon so most def very attentive and caring host !! They are amazing people with an amazing property most def will be my go to get away spot from now on !!!

The place was very cozy and accommodating and quiet. My girlfriend and I (with the little dog) were looking for a nice place to stay for a couple days to get away from the hustle and bustle and this place was perfect!

The place was very clean & comfy. It was very peaceful & relaxing as well. Host was willing & able to assist with an issue late at night

Great view, occasionally saw deer from back deck. Hot tub was easy to use and house was well kept and clean.

The cabin is near downtown, but it's far enough removed from the roads to afford a restful sleep. It's nicely sized for a couple, and the Waterloo water tastes great. The cabin has several windows, but they are on the smaller side and thus natural lighting is limited. Rika communicated well and provided helpful recommendations.

Perfect pet friendly location right on the river! So close to many shops and restaurants. We loved this location and will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Paradise cabin. Everything was very clean and well cared for. There were quite a few games and puzzles that our kids enjoyed, which is super helpful when you can't bring everything with you! The bunk room does have the furnace in it, so it was pretty warm, but the kids didn't seem to mind it. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a little bit. Check-in and out was easy, and Gary helped us out right away when we had an issue getting the Roku working! We'll happily come back and stay again, and would especially like to experience the outdoor space when the weather is a little nicer!

Absolutely stunning property, we were very comfortable and happy there! So much to do, lots of wildlife around, and very peaceful. Brandon helped us get in the driveway when it was iced over and he truly is a stand-up person, very responsive and a great host. I look forward to booking here again!!

I had a short stay here but it was great! Cottage is kept clean and welcoming. I love the wood interior and the FIRE PLACE WAS AMAZING! Our host had our fire place already set and all i needed to do was light it! They did leave instructions which was very helpful. With also a binder with restaurant recommendations! It was a little cold inside but once i lit the fire and waited 30 min it was warm. They also had a mini heater which helped keep the bathroom warm!

We loved our stay at the River Cabin! Its a place where you just feel right at home. I like the way they made use of all of the space. Loved the vintage record player and radio console. It was in a great location central to the Eagle watching spots I wanted to visit. This place is where I will return next winter to photograph the eagles, for a longer period of time. Catherine was very responsive and helpful. There were dog dishes and toys and a bed, for Mighty Mandy. Thanks for a great stay! There is a little place outside to sit at a table and watch the river, which would have been great if weather was warm.

Christmas in the Cozy Cabin this year was terrific. Clean, convenient, and a host who provided exactly what we needed. This was our third visit... And we'll be back!

This is our third stay at Scout Cabin on Pleasant Farm. There is plenty to do (nature center, fun local restaurants, National Historic Register spots, covered bridges and especially the tranquility of the front porch and lookout observation tower nearby). Didn’t make it to the maze or viaduct near Bloomfield - next trip! Thank you for a lovely, serene stay!

I rented this beautiful cabin for my family to be together to celebrate my granddaughter’s 1st birthday. The cabin was generously equipped with all of the necessities including plenty of wood for the fireplace. Dominic was friendly and responsive. I will definitely rent this gem again for future visits with my family. Five stars all the way around.

We stayed at Tammy's place for the first time a few years ago. We fell in love in the cabin. This time around, we wanted a similar getaway and immediately booked Tammy's place again. We love everything about Tammy's place. Clean, comfy, private. We will definitely be back.

If you want a remote location to relax and unwind, this is the place for you. The peace and beauty of nature will surround you. The towels, toilet paper, etc., are premium and luxurious. It is perhaps the cleanest place I have stayed.

Awesome lakeside cabin with great views from the back deck. Was very nice to be able to book both sides for my team. Will definitely look up again next time we are in the area.

Monica is a great host! We have stayed here twice and she has made us feel at home. Her communication is above and beyond what is expected.

Carol’s cabin was amazing. It was beautiful, clean, and exactly what we wanted. I will definitely stay again when I’m back in the area. Highly recommend Carols cabin to anyone traveling in this area.
