Stayed for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed. The house was beautifully decorated and historic. Felt very comfortable in the home. Bryan was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. The area of Maplewood is very walkable with lots to do! We would definitely stay at Bryan’s again if we come back to visit the area again.

The location was wonderful. It felt perfectly secluded on the farm, yet was close enough to everything St Louis had to offer. Should I return to the area, I hope I can stay here once again. It had a wonderful older farmhouse charm, Just watch out for that sneaky little step from the dining area into the kitchen. That was a source of much amusement amongst those of us staying as it seemed none of us could remember to lift our feet. Our trip had the unique experience of weather out a storm which brought down a tornado within a half mile of the house. Fortunately it did miss, but even had it not, Thomas was on top of things as soon as the warnings went out making sure we knew exactly where to shelter and how to gain access to it should it be needed. As an added note for any coffee drinkers that may choose to stay here, I would Highly recommend Little Ireland Coffee in the nearby town of Pacific

Our family of four, plus two fur babies, had a fantastic time here! The house was incredibly clean and well-organized, which is so impressive for being a dog-friendly space. Our children, ages 3 and 6, were in awe upon arriving and couldn’t stop talking about it during our entire stay. This was by far the most unique experience we’ve had and we plan on staying here again next time we’re in the area. Thank you so much for opening your home to us, we’ll be spreading the word to our family and friends! Also, bonus points for the doggy-inspired vinyl collection!

This was a wonderful stay, my second at this location. We were there for an event at Purina Farms. I doubt there’s anything closer or more convenient. The place was pristine and had every amenity we needed. The hosts were extremely quick to respond and super friendly.

Jim’s place was extraordinary. The decor was outstanding. Interesting art was everywhere. The view was spectacular. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate with us, we had a lovely time. I will be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay at Amy’s Pool House! It was perfect for our trip visiting family during thanksgiving. Close to everything we needed and easy to find and access. The house was well stocked, esp plenty of towels! It was perfect for our dog too. He loved their yard and it was perfectly quiet for him. There is plenty of space and its comfy. We really enjoyed using the tv, and the hot tub! You could see the stars at night. :) We found the pool house a bit chilly at times and the bed was not our preference but overall we really enjoyed our stay! Amy was also very responsive and kind! We would come back here to stay again! :)

Quite a neat place for a getaway.

We had a great stay!! The house was perfect for the five of us and our dog, with enough space for all of us to feel comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was the best part! Melissa was super prompt when it seemed like the heat to the pool wasn’t running and we were back in there in no time - the heated water was perfect for this fall weather! We also tried some of the recommended spots and overall, this was exactly the quick getaway we needed!

I will definitely be back! Shari’s place was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I have family in the Bushnell, New Philadelphia/Marietta, Macomb, and Colchester. This place just makes sense for my family and myself. Thanks Shari!

Love the farm setting. Super sweet animals. The place was very loved inside and out. She was very flexible with our pets and the change in original plans. I would recommend this place.

This home was super cozy for my big family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the way it is set up makes you feel right at home. This home had everything we needed. TV’s, kitchen items, recommendations, and even fun family games and activities to do. Every time I visit the area I’ll be checking to see if it’s available. 10/10

Beautiful home in a private area with a killer view from the patio! Multiple bedrooms with clean linens and cool artwork throughout! She even left a nice little fruit plate. Very responsive and proactive in helping you find her gravel driveway. This is a spot in the woods, so there were some Asian Lady Beatles inside by the windows, which can be expected this time of year, but this is a gorgeous home away from home and I slept like a baby! 🙂

This was our third spring vacation to this cozy lake house. We love the peaceful setting and well-appointed house—perfect for our family to relax and reconnect with s’mores and books and games and great meals. This year my son caught his first fish (a small bass and a bluegill) and a large bald eagle made a visit one morning. Jenna is a perfect host—always friendly and quick to deal with any questions or concerns.

This is a hidden gem In East Peoria. The house was very clean, well stocked and decorated super cute. The yard was wonderful for my pups. The hosts are very responsive. Will definitely book again when in the area.

Theresa was friendly and informative! The place was perfect for our dogs. Very safe fence, they could exercise. Comfortable beds. Nice bathtub. We had fresh cookies and the dogs had treats and toys provided! The area was safe and there was a wonderful Pasta restaurant in town! We hope to return!

It was the perfect tiny space for our get away

It was perfect! Everything we needed, even extras like dog show fans and wine in the fridge were there. It has a great yard for the dogs too. There are dog bowls and dog decor which I loved, the owner even brought a large kennel just the right size for my Berner and set it up for us! When I dropped a Diamond earring into the sink the owners came immediately to unscrew the pipes and we found it. If you’re going to a show it’s only 7 minutes from the Purina Event Center. I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay at a dog show. If you just want to get away, it’s a beautiful country setting with a big tub and such comfortable beds that you feel pampered and right at home. Jeanette is an exceptional host and it’s a wonderful place. Don’t miss the Hawthorne Inn for dinner, or the big herd of deer grazing across the road in the afternoons.

I had a great stay at Kelly's place! The place was beautiful- very clean, well kept, and walkable to the University and downtown Valpo! Kelly was very responsive and gave clear check in/check out instructions. If I'm ever back in Valpo, this is the place to stay!

Beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect location to go around the city.

The listing doesn’t do this place justice. It was so very very clean, well appointed including an iron and ironing board which wasnt mentioned in the listing. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Plenty of hot water and more than enough bath towels and wash cloths. Shower gels and shampoos provided. Well appointed kitchen and freezer full of ice. The bed was so comfortable I overslept every morning. Super easy check in and out. I’m going to mention again the cleanliness of the place - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 20. I highly recommend this place.
