Great Bach really comfortable with a small (about 150m high) conical foothill at the end of the garden . Huge deck for eating outside and hot tub great for star gazing. Was just the job as a base for touring the area .

This is a superb place to stay, we loved every minute of our 2.5 weeks. The setting is perfect, the hosts are super friendly and helpful. We swam in the lake most days, an easy 10-15 minute walk down (less easy coming back as it’s uphill, but well worth it!) We explored the local walking tracks. And Bella the cat appeared most days, usually early mornings when she would join us in bed! Cannot recommend highly enough☺️

As AirBnB hosts ourselves, we know what pleases guests in a holiday home. We were most comfortable, relaxed and at peace in your home. The views are awesome too. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. The accomodation was well thought out and practical. The weather wasn’t the best so we didn’t really get to view a magnificent night sky, no fault of Simon’s. However, it’s easy to see what a delight it would be with a clear night sky. It’s a really lovely part of the world.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay here! Place was exactly what we hoped for! Good walkable distance to town and the lake. Loved having the deck and lawn out the back for a bit more space to relax. The weekend we stayed was incredibly hot so was glad to find out the aircon worked well! Overall our stay was great! The one and only downside (not sure if our fault for not looking hard enough or not) but we were only left with 3 toilet rolls- for a 2 night stay at 7 of us it went pretty quick but luckily one of us had brought some of our own to use.

We had a fantastic time at this house! 🤍 The space is incredibly clean, new, and modern. Every detail has clearly been well thought out, and it made the experience feel special. The kitchen is by far the most stacked and organized one I've ever seen, it's a dream for anyone who loves to cook. The views from the house are lovely, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. One thing to note for future guests: the home has many delicate decorations and artifacts around. To avoid any accidents, I recommend collecting the fragile items and storing them in a closet during your stay. It’s a small step to ensure everything stays intact and you won’t be responsible for any breakages. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stylish, relaxing, and comfortable stay! Great place to stay with a group of friends for the week! Heaps of space. Very warm. Loved the spa. Easy access to the lakeside track. Loved being out of the traffic of central Queenstown!

We had a great Family reunion and the place is really comfortable with a big living room and kitchen. The communication with the host was excellent. Will recommend and give this place a 5 star rating.

This property was everything we could have asked for and more! It was immaculately clean, beautifully modern, and packed with thoughtful amenities — the owners truly thought of everything. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views that made it hard to leave. Communication with the host was smooth and easy, and access to the home was a breeze. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

David’s place is as beautiful as it’s comfortable. We were a family of 5 and we only used the three bedrooms on mid-level floor. Having kitchen and living room and laundry all on the same floor made things super easy for us. Moreover my husband used the top floor office to do his office work away from our chaos on the lower floor which was just another cherry on top. And the view is just stunning - out of the world. It will make you get out of the bed in morning. We made use of both fire places, cooked and ate out on the patio many times. He also has a next-gen level media entertainment which we enjoyed. Thanks for letting us stay at your super amazing place David. Would love to visit again.

My husband and I spoiled ourselves for our 30th anniversary to stay in this beautiful house with amazing views. Watching the changing light on the mountains and lake was so restful we didn't want to leave. It was only a $11 Uber into the centre of town on the days we didn't want to drive. The neighbourhood is very quiet - we couldn't believe how well we slept! Very comfortable bed. The kitchen was extremely well equipped along with having plenty of cups and glasses. From the lovely welcome gifts to swift responses, we couldn't have asked for more.

This house is in a perfect location, offering breathtaking views of the bay. Waking up to stunning sunrises and relaxing with beautiful sunsets made our stay truly special. The interior is fully equipped, spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Whether for a short getaway or a longer stay, this place has everything one could need. My guests and I were extremely satisfied with our experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality stay!

Such a great home to stay in. We were two families and it worked perfectly! Plenty of everything that you need. Kids loved the games room and plenty of towels were provided which is needed with kids in and out the spa! Fireplaces were amazing with plenty of wood! There is nothing that they could have done differently! This will be our go to Queenstown home!!! Excellent amount of space for everyone to relax and have fun in!

We were a group of five (3 adults, two young children) and really enjoyed our stay at this fairytale house. It was very clean and furnished with lots of charming accessories which make the place even more WOW. I personally loved the outdoor illumination at night, which added to the fairytale feeling. We also made use of the hot tub. The only thing to improve is the wifi speed and coverage throughout the house. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a very special stay.

The views are phenomenal, the property is an attraction in and of itself. Some of the best views we have ever seen. We were floored when we arrived at the property; the pictures do not do this place enough justice. You are essentially on top of a private mountain with full 360 views of the mountain ranges, valleys, fjords, rivers etc. We love interacting with the sheep and learning more about the farm. Our hosts were so nice and welcoming. There were so many amenities provided at the property. In the evening you can see the entire Milky Way, and take an outdoor bath with views of the sunrise over the mountains. If you want a secluded piece of paradise this is the place. We cannot wait to come back.

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

This Airbnb was truly one of a kind, with an amazing view of the Ben Ohau Range. We were blown away by the property's stunning design and thoughtful craftsmanship from the moment we arrived. Every detail was carefully considered to create a beautiful accommodation. The setting is private and peaceful, the perfect spot to unwind on our road trip across NZ. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay near Twizel and Mount Cook.

Garry and Liz’s cabin was a delight to stay in! We were there for only a night but we were able to make use of the e-bikes that were already charged and the fully equipped kitchen (including a coffee machine!), and were fortunate to see the beautiful night sky. Thank you so much, Garry and Liz!

My stay at the carriage was absolutely incredible ! It was the perfect place to reset and relax. The accommodation was cozy and extraordinary. Every time I felt welcome. The perfect little paradise at almost the end of my travels. The hosts were simply wonderful and if I would have the chance to be in queenstown again I’d love to stay there another time.

Sean & Jana’s cottage is worth every penny! The photos don’t do it justice. This air bnb was absolutely beautiful and the outside bath tub at night is incredible we had clear nights to star gaze from the tub. I would highly recommend as it was the best place to stay if you’re wanting to visit mount cook and Lake Tekapo. We will be back :)
