Jim's place was absolutely amazing. They have made it a little slice of heaven. I definitely will be coming back when I can stay a little longer. The pond and hangout area with the firepit was my favorite.

We loved staying on this 100 acre farm. My family and our two dogs enjoyed a peaceful trip! Would love to come back again!

First, I need to clarify that we were unable to make it for our reservation due to a family emergency. I am giving the positive review because of how kind, compassionate, and understanding Nahida was in our communications. While we did not get to stay this time, we are bookmarking this AirBnB to try a visit again in the future as we are greatly interested in this one, and the hospitality they've provided in communication has far surpassed what I ever hoped for in our current situation. I would recommend this AirBnB, and I'm sure you would find the time with them well spent.

We had a great time. Loved this small bungaló had a small kitchen with all you needed. The sunsets we’re amazing. It was very relaxing and enjoyed drinking our wine in the patio. HEB is 15 mins away and the town. We will for sure be coming back again to stay here.

As it pertains to AirBnB hosting, Jen and Mark would have an advanced Doctorate in what it takes to start, maintain, and wow guests with their accommodations. The Red Barn (as well as their other home) is well appointed and the difference in what Jen and Mark do versus 90% of what all others do is found deep down in the minutiae (the minute details) of how they handle it: pillows properly placed for beauty and functionality, lighting just where you need it for the purposes of reading, or cooking, or looking deep into the eyes of your loved one. Just those couple of things would have made this experience worth every moment but they have provided creature comforts like an insanely comfortable bed, a color scheme that not only works but is beautiful and plenty of cooking utensils, coffees, teas, and welcome cookies, wine and coasters. The space to review everything here does not suffice as I could write volumes on it so let me finish with this 3 word encouragement: Book It Now! - Mac

We were looking for a place in the hill country, not too far from Austin. The cabin was perfect on a special piece of property. It was located several miles outside of Burnet and close enough to get groceries. Night time allowed for star gazing. We went on outings to play golf in San Saba and Lampasas. On our last evening, Garten took us on a ride to a ridge on the high point of the property which allowed views of Lake Buchanan and the dam. We will definitely go back.

We had such a wonderful time we didn’t want to leave! The host was kind enough to provide some groceries for breakfast stocked in the fridge. The place was really well decorated to feel like an authentic Cowboy/cowgirl residence. I was impressed with the details! The bad was super comfy to sleep in as well. We enjoyed just walking around the property and saying hello to the longhorns too. The stars lit up the sky at night and was unbelievably beautiful!! Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

Marty & James were amazing hosts. Their place was a perfect spot for my family and I to stay and my kids had the most wonderful time looking at the farm animals, playing with their dogs, and just taking the chance to meet/connect with new people. They were fantastic hosts that went the extra effort to make our stay memorable and my kids are already asking when we can return. 10/10 would recommend this place.

This place was great!! We had a girls trip 2025!! Clean, simple, friendly host, and very hospitable with all there little touches!

Juan’s cabin is clean, beautiful and private. There were also 2 cute and very hungry cats! Bring more food lol

The house was nice and had lots of sunlight. The kitchen and bathroom had modern fixtures and appliances. The animals were friendly and we had a lot of fun feeding them. The property was beautiful and very well kept. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

This two homes are perfect for a family vacation or a retreat. Pool is not fenced in so children will have to be supervised by adult while outside at all times. I and my mom stayed there and it felt like we were in the woods but we were only a few minutes from shopping and church. Very peaceful which I loved. Animals just a few steps away and they were very friendly. The hosts are super stars that are very responsive and respectful. If you are looking for a picture perfect stay this is it.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Joe and this property. We had an exceptional time. Joe is a phenomenal host and we were welcomed and cared for our entire stay.

Very nice get away location. Had a trip with some friends and the separate bedrooms and bathrooms was super nice to have privacy. Really close to Homestead Heritage which is a big plus. 20 min drive downtown wasn't an issue at all. Host was great. This was my first stay at an Airbnb where the host introduced themselves and greeted you at your arrival. I really appreciated it.

My teen daughter and I loved this tiny home in the woods. My daughter now wants a tiny home just like this one. It was so cozy, peaceful, and expertly decorated! We enjoyed the French press and loved sipping on coffee in the mornings with the windows open while listening to the surrounding birdsong. We would’ve enjoyed the deck more, which was also beautiful, but the weather was pretty muggy and windy during the times that we were there, and there were already several bugs out in the evenings. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, and we would come again.

What a wonderful place to spend with family with days and evenings filled with stories and laughter. The property is gorgeous and the house just as described and pictured. Near to several small towns with quaint shops and wonderful, friendly restaurants serving scrumptious dishes. Come, stay, you won't be disappointed!

It's such a cute place to stay at. We loved our time here and will definitely be coming back. We had such a serene stay in nature. It is the perfect country getaway. Our hosts were so kind to us, too. We woke up to have fresh farm eggs and were greeted by the ducks, rabbits, and farm dogs. This is perfect for a family or a couple.

Fun and unique place to stay. Kitchen was well stocked, and bathroom was nice. Hosts were great and enjoyed the animals!

Stayed at Chad and Keisha’s cabin for 2 nights and it was a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect. Responsive hosts. Easy to find, check-in, everything. It was such a cute, well put-together cabin. Chad and Keisha even gave us some eggs from their chicken coop as a welcome gift! It was quiet and peaceful while we were on-site. Everything in the cabin worked as advertised and was up to par. Having our dogs there was an easy experience with their simple dog rules and the enclosed dog area around the corner on the property. Check-out was how Airbnb should be. No crazy cleaning fee while having us clean the whole cabin ourselves anyways. They encouraged us to spend our time enjoying our vacation, not cleaning up, and I loved that. Cannot recommend this spot enough if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway with great hosts in Johnson City or the Hill Country in general. Will definitely be back if we spend time in the area again. 5 big stars.

The G Ranch was a beautiful place to stay at. A beautiful, private, and peaceful location. Has great food around the area and cattle that you can feed. Would recommend for everyone!!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful little farm. We visited our son while he was on spring break. We wanted a place to get away from the busy campus area and relax. Broken Road Farm was perfect. Friendly host, cozy atmosphere and relaxing outdoor areas all made our experience exactly what we were looking for.

We had a wonderful stay while shopping at the Spring Round Top show. Highly recommend for a quiet and peaceful stay after busy days of shopping.
