Our family had the trip of a lifetime at St. Jean Villa on the island of Kefalonia. We scoured online for many weeks to find the perfect villa for our family and finally decided to book St Jean. We traveled with 2 adults and 4 children and decided to select this villa because of the modern amenities blended with old world charm. The view is absolutely breathtaking and it is a short walk down the street or a separate path to the beach. We frequented the coffee shop and bakery daily and also dined at several of the local restaurants. While we traveled all over the island of Kefalonia to enjoy other locations, we could have stayed content in Lourdata for the full week. It is extremely peaceful (aside from us yelling at our own children) and we felt at home from the day we arrived. Stella, Lora and Lim were all very helpful and extremely responsive when we had questions or minor issues. Our kids absolutely loved the pool and gardens. I would highly recommend St. Jean :)

Andreas Haus liegt mitten im Dorf und trotzdem ganz alleine und ruhig mit wunderschönem Blick über die ganze Landschaft. Der Pool und die Terrassen rund ums Haus sind genial, wir konnten im Januar vor dem Haus draussen frühstücken! In jedem Zimmer gibt es eine Klimaanlage, die auch heizen kann und einen schönen offenen Kamin. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Willkommenspaket mit Wein, eigenem Öl und einem ganzen Frühstückspaket! Vielen Dank für die vielen Tips und dass wir mit unseren vier Hunden kommen durften, die Spass in dem grossen umzäunten Garten hatten.

This house was perfect for us. In the countryside, very peaceful, a few minutes drive from the village and the beach. We could see the stars at night, we collected figs and tomatoes from the garden, we were surrounded by cute kittens. Maria came to meet us on the first night. she explained that the first time it is a bit tricky, but then it is easy to find the place. And it was just like she said. The beach is 10 minutes drive on a gravelled road, can be done with an opel corsa, no problem. There are cows, sheep, pigs and even peacocks at the neighbours- lots of entertainment for our 3 years old daughter. The olive oil of their own production as well as the wine are delicious (Italian foodies here!) The sunset over the bay is wonderful and breakfast on the terrace a real treat. While we were there the island was hit by a storm so we didn’t get to enjoy the place to its full potential. However, we think that there is all you need to be happy and a bit more.

Absolutely amazing stay at Villa Blue! My family spent 2 fantastic weeks at this beautiful property & it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning panoramic view across the pool & the most amazing place to enjoy the beautiful sunrise & sunsets The villa itself was immaculate & thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need from kitchen essentials to pool towels, wifi & BBQ. The layout was spacious & comfortable, plus friendly cleaner every few days We all enjoyed the great pool Our hosts were fantastic, incredibly responsive & attentive, always just a message away & helped with local recommendations. Their hospitality was spot on. Meeting us on arrival to direct us to the villa was very helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better villa or base to explore Kefalonia. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway with incredible views I would highly recommend Villa Blue. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Efi & Makis

Nikos’ place was great. The location was very peaceful and picturesque - and, despite its village location, was only a short drive away from all you would need. Nikos’ aunt was incredibly helpful in directing us to the property and showing us where to park - both Nikos and herself were available for any questions and also, checked in via message during our stay. The property itself is great and provided a cosy base for our trip to Kefalonia. We would recommend Nikos’ place and hope to return at some point in the future

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine avec nos 2 enfants chez Spiraggelos. Le cottage est idéalement situé à proximité immédiate (entre 5 et 10 min) d’Argostoli. Il est accessible facilement après un petit chemin très simple d’accès. Nous avons pu facilement et rapidement explorer le sur de l’île durant cette semaine chez Spiraggelos. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme malgré la proximité d’argostoli. Le jardin est charmant et très accueillant, avec même une douche extérieure pour rincer les affaires de plage. La maison propose tous les équipements et le confort nécessaire pour une famille de 4. Enfin nous avons eu des petites douceurs à notre arrivée dont du raisin délicieux. Spiraggelos est un hôte chaleureux, réactif et très accueillant. Il a tout de suite proposé de nous orienter avec des conseils utiles. Si nous revenons dans la région, nous reviendrons dans le cottage !

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! We were made to feel right at home and the hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality! We loved the tranquility of the place and the surroundings are incredibly picturesque. I would definitely recommend!

Great house with attention to the detail. All what could be necessary is available. The view is marvelous and the host is very kind. I would recommend to everyone who wants to visit Kefalonia.

We had a fantastic holiday here. Before and during the stay communication was friendly & clear. Location is above the village of Kato Katelios with restaurants, bars, supermarkets & ATMs and kid-friendly beach about a 10m walk down (and 15m back up!) a steep hill – far enough away for privacy yet close enough if you want to be more amongst things The Wi-Fi is fine in the downstairs and pool area, but doesn’t work so well upstairs. There's a DVD player in the main room. The kitchen is well stocked and there’s a BBQ outside. The pool is a generous size and perfect for a family to cool off or play in. The aircon works well enough to take the edge off the heat in the main living area (which has lots of glass) and cools the bedrooms very effectively We only had one slight issue after a power cut tripped out the pool pump, but this was fixed within 24 hours of contacting the owners Overall I would highly recommend staying at Villa Anemoni

We stayed almost a week in this nice and beautiful apartment in Svoronta. Even though the airport ist a 15 minute walk away, we never felt bothered by any kind of airport noise. The location of the House is close to the capital (Argostoli) and a good base to explore the island. The apartment itself ist clean and tidy. The hostess was extrordinary friendly and always happy to help. Her hospitality was remarkable. She told us about the sights worth seeing and where not to go. With her help we had a week full of special experiences. The Garden and perimiter of the aartment are well kept and extensive. The House comes with a friendly and happy dog and sweet and curious cats.

We had a wonderful stay at the Seasons Villa. Zoe is a responsive and proactive host. She went above and beyond with her customer service. The property and the setting are exceptional. We will be back! Laura

Perfect experience! Everything was as advertised, even more. First of all, communication with the host was timely, active and without delays. We managed to find the place with no issues at all. Arriving at the house was a breeze, and felt right like at home. AC was up to the task battling with extremely hot Greek summer (38oC !). Shower and all other amenities were perfect. We were also able to use the provided washing machine and this solved our troubles as we were arriving there from a previous stay which did not offer that. The place is very calm, just 6km from Sami town which is port connection from Patras and offers amazing options for local restaurants, cafes, supermarkets etc. The most important is that it is just in the middle of the island, providing the opportunity to easily approach any other location without the need to drive long distances. High recommendation for families, group of friends or even lonely stayers! Couldn't ask for something more.

Such a peaceful and beautiful house. Host was very friendly, meeting us in Stavros and showing how to get to the house. Nothing too much trouble, including giving great local tips and pulling out the map of the island and even coming and bringing us some bread when we missed the closing of bakery on Sunday. Lovely days lying under the shady olive tree (much bigger now than pictured) and the bathroom has a had a modern renovation since the photos too. Dinner at Extraterrestrial and Myrtia both must dos (at different ends of the price point). Head to Kioni to hire a boat from George. Thanks again!

Illias ha sido un anfitrión fantástico. Estuvo muy atento para hacer que nuestra estancia fuera cómoda y nos dio mucha flexibilidad para hacer el check out. El apartamento es muy bonito, perfectamente equipado y en una ubicación muy tranquila. Está a unos 5km de Lixouri, donde puedes encontrar todos los servicios necesarios. Además, la casa está a 100 metros de una playa con un pequeño restaurante muy acogedor. ¡Gracias por tu hospitalidad Illias!

Siamo stati incredibilmente bene presso la casa di Marios: la casa era funzionale e pulitissima e molto comoda per visitare buona parte dell'isola. Il giardino poi è qualcosa di fantastico da godere durante tutta la giornata. Marios è stato un host disponibile e sempre attento a chiederci ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Siamo molto felici di aver trovato questo posto per le nostre vacanze a Cefalonia e lo consigliamo a tutti!

We were 2 families and we stayed at Kathleen's house for 8 days. Kathleen connected us with Demetris who helped us get in the house and also provided excellent recommendations. The house was recently renovated and it was warm, spacy, and clean, exactly as it was in the pictures. The view outside the house was stunning. Kathleen was an excellent host. She was always replying within a couple of minutes, she accepted us with love and finally, she allowed us to use her house for a couple of extra hours! We would definitely recommend the house! Tout à été parfait! En commençant par Marika est son papa qui sont d'une gentillesse extrême. Très réactive à nos demandes ou nos problèmes. Un grand merci au papa de Marika, tres discrets et avec des petites attentions.... les oranges.... un régal pour des jus frais au petit déjeuner! La maison est magnifique, propre, on s'y sent tellement bien! Et la vue, je n'ai même pas de mots pour décrire à quel point elle est magnifique. Poros est une petite ville a à peine 5 min en voiture. Il y a tout ce dont on a besoin: commences, patisserie, boucherie, restaurant... De belles plages pas très loin, nous avons aimé Skala et kako lagadi. Nous espérons revenir chez Marika, car notre séjour à été l'un des meilleurs que nous ayons fait avec des hôtes exceptionnel. La famille Krstic

Il cottage di Vaso ci é piaciuto moltissimo. si trova in una parte dell'isola meno turistica rispetto al nord e ad Argostoli, molto adatta alle famiglie. La vicina Lixouri é uno dei centri abitati che ci é piaciuto di più nell'isola. Nell'area vicino all'alloggio si trovano tante taverne ottime, servizi, supermercati e non ultimo, bellissime spiagge e calette. Il cottage di Vaso é molto bello, ben tenuto ed elegante. il panorama che si gode dalla terrazza é incantevole e si presta bene per cene romantiche. La casa é ben attrezzata, l'arredamento é di ottima fattura, l'aria condizionata funziona perfettamente. Pulizia eccellente.

We have just returned from our first visit to Kefalonia. Kefalonia Cottage is a perfect holiday house, it’s clean, well equipped and perfectly situated close to shops, restaurants and beaches. The family living in the neighbouring houses are lovely and on hand to help with queries. We hired a car from the airport and google maps directed us perfectly to the house. There is adequate parking available at the back of the house and the gardens are beautiful. As well as a private patio there are balconies to both the front and back of the house so there is always a place to sit in either the sun or shade. I can’t recommend it enough....thank you so much to Gina and her family for their hospitality.
