Local here. There’s is a lot of airbnbs. There are just a few b&b acommodation left in PR that are worth it. If it’s available, book it! Crystal has put together a magical place. Not your usual airbnb for sure. Surrounded by nature. Silence. Rain in the night. Peace in the morning. And an awesome breakfast to start your day. The treatment by the host is superb. The extra services (classes, massage, dinners) during your stay are worth to schedule it in advance. You will not want to leave this place. And wait till you see the actual accommodation in person. It looks better. It feels better. The view, the design inside the unit, the relative privacy. The welcoming feeling the acommodation emanates is indescribable. This place is 100% recommended. You’ll want to go back.

we came for a Mountain Bike race at the Olympic center. This place was perfect. close to the venue, peaceful, and very relaxing. The hammocks were welcomed. The yard is nicely kept and plenty of fencing and auto gates to keep the horses out. thank you!!!

El Pretexto was magical! The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. Crystal was extremely helpful and responsive to our requests and with local recommendations for dining, hiking, ect. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfasts with the other guests. Crystal and Daniel went out of their way to make the mornings special. Definitely attend one of the kitchen garden tours and dinner if it is available during your stay!

We had a a wonderful stay. Access to nearby towns, hiking, restaurants and sightseeing was a short drive from the house. They had domino table and billiards for in house entertainment. The cold breeze was fabulous and views were spectacular. Maria showed us why she’s a super host. Communication was on spot and detailed. I absolutely recommend this property.

This place is perfect if you're looking for privacy and relaxation. We enjoyed the great view, outdoor area, and hot tub. You will not meet or see any neighbors. The loft is quite spacious and was in great condition. We used this Airbnb as a starting point to explore the island, including Ponce and beaches such as Punta Tuna (both about a one hour drive away) and we chose to cook dinner there, as we preferred staying in over driving at night. Janice was friendly and very respectful towards our privacy. Regarding some previous reviews concerning accessibility/driving: You obviously need a car as this Airbnb is located in the mountains of Puerto Rico. To us, the roads did not seem more or less "dangerous" as anywhere else in PR's mountains. Just drive carefully and stay focused and you will be fine!

Beautiful space! Very very relaxing. Away from the tourist areas, definitely remote!

it does not provide justice un the pictures. it is above and beyond what you might be expecting to find. it's private, extremely comfortable and not comparable to any other property.
