Casa Ataraxia was magical! The most amazing views of the lake - from every view and angle. The host was very responsive and helpful! He also helped fine a masseuse to come to the house for us. We did opt to use a cook to help cook and clean - we did not have to leave the house at all! And it was super hard to leave and check out… highly recommend and hope to be back soon!!

que dire...?? merveilleux séjour dans cette maison calme et spacieuse avec une vue top sur le lac et ses volcans. hôtes très reactives,,Miguel, l homme d entretien vient vous chercher sur l embarcadère pour vous accompagner lors de votre arrivée et réponds à toutes vos demandes..si vous parlez espagnol.. vous pouvez demander d avoir une personne qui cuisine pour vous. nous l avons fait pour le petit-déjeuner et le dîner. c'est très agréable..surtout que nous sommes restés une semaine..et que pour faire des courses il faut aller plutôt à panajachel. santa cruz est un village calme et agréable et bien situé pour visiter les autres endroits autour du lac. bref idéal pour nous..on conseille mille fois..

Wow. We felt right at home as soon as we pulled on the street in our 4 minute Tuk Tuk from the town center. Christian welcomed us warmly as family and showed us the house and even helped recommend things to do as well as food. The space is beautiful and homey. His wife made us some amazing home made bread as well. The place is big and the kitchen is well stocked with essentials. The rooftop is absolutely gorgeous and serene. We spent time reading and lounging on the hammocks during a rain storm and also during sunny afternoon. We also walked 5 minutes down to the beach to watch sunrise and chill. This was one of the best stays we’ve had so far in Guatemala. It’s truly special to be welcomed to a beautiful home like this. Thank you & we can’t wait to come back again !!

Great place in the heart of San Marcos. Clean and bright, will stay again.

Christopher is a great host, always available and actively communicating. Our family had very nice time in the amazing private house with the lakeview and friendly staff who were very helpful. The house was clean and fully equipped with kitchen utensils as well as materials for firepit (prepared when we asked). The pool was big and clean, and was warm to our demand. We also had free Wifi, a large livingroom TV, and good speakers. Also all the bathrooms had bidet.

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! I loved staying in Griselda and Antonio‘s apartment. They were both hospitable and helpful. The apartment is spacious, quiet and easily walked to from the center of the hub bub and so much better to be away from that. Kitchen is equipped with the blender to make smoothies and anything you need for cooking. I would highly recommend it. I stay there alone, but it’s big enough for a family.

Es un departamento bonito con una bonita vista. Silvia siempre estuvo al pendiente de cualquier cosa que se nos ofreciera. Este departamento está junto a un hotel que te dejan usar sus instalaciones excepto prestarte sus kayaks. Bien equipado y limpio.

Muy buena ubicación y excelente servicio

El lugar realmente es bonito, muy privado y tranquilo y se puede acceder al muelle caminando lo cual es una gran ventaja si planeas viajar en lancha a otros pueblos del lago. Me encantó

Beautiful location close to the Santa Cruz pier. A short tuk tuk ride away from the village. Easy spot to go exploring and enjoy the lake. Private pier and pool were great amenities. Only downside was after the second night our hot tub didn't get hot enough by the early evening when we wanted to use it.

Our stay at Rocio's place was magical. The view of the lake was beautiful. The location was as described and you definitely need to find transportation to and from but we had no issues flagging down a tuk-tuk from the road. The place is compact but we were very comfortable there for two nights. The outside patio/deck area is the place to be.

I felt immediately at home in Tzanabaj! Nico and Venus are great hosts and I loved my studio! right by the lake, peaceful, while also close to the city center (10 min tuk tuk), where the restaurants and supermarkets can be found. There is also a beautiful community living in the other houses, so you can have your privacy and socialise with other like-minded people if you want. Totally recommend!

Una cabaña muy bonita para relajarse, cómoda y excelente atención.

Magdalena was the perfect host and her home was beautiful! She was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. The location is a 15 minute walk or a short Tuktuk to get downtown. And the roof was amazing!

Diego is a wonderful host who provided all we needed during our 5 day stay. the place was a perfect location to sit and just relax and enjoy nature and the lake. Highly recommended!

I had such wonderful and relaxing stay. The place looks just like the pictures. Absolutely loved the view. You do have to hike up to get there but the view is worth it. Dar connected us to Nicolas our tuk tuk driver which was very helpful. Nicolas was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Ricardo & Davids. The hosts were very kind and helpful with everything we needed. The kayaks were awesome to use and the terrace overlooking the lake was amazing in the morning for yoga, chilling, and reading. The cabins are comfortable and cute. San Marcos is about a 30 minute walk which has all the shopping & restaurants you will want. Location is amazing in terms of accessibility (right by the dock + walking distance to San Marcos). Downsides: road is directly behind the cabins so you hear and feel every vehicle passing by (it slows down in the evening and in the night almost nothing). They are working on building up a stone wall behind the cabins though, to minimize the sound. Bathrooms are also located down the hill from the cabins. Kitchen is very very basic and shared with all cabins so keep that in mind. Tzununa has very little to offer, we can recommend pizza night at Love Probiotics on Friday nights. Otherwise go to San Marcos. :)

La vista desde el lugar es impresionante y la tranquilidad que se respira lo hace perfecto para relajarse. Además, el anfitrión fue excepcional, siempre atento y dispuesto a ayudar en todo lo que necesitábamos.

De los mejores hospedajes en los que hemos estado. Es un lugar perfecto para alejarse de la ciudad y descansar. Tiene senderos muy bonitos y el atardecer visto desde el mirador es increíble. La atención y servicio que nos dio Don Pepe fue excepcional. En verdad hizo que nuestra estadía fuera increíble y su increíble actitud y atención al detalle nos encantó. Definitivamente nos gustaría quedarnos más veces en este airbnb otras veces. Muchas gracias por todo Pepe!
