Renta de alojamientos vacacionales con kayak en Cerro de Oro

Amazing views, GREAT little sunbathing patch of grass (a rarity!), Maria was friendly and even started our stay off with a basket of local fruits we hadn't tried yet. We sleep a little hot, so her and her husband brought us an extra fan without us even asking when they heard this to be hospitable. We loved started each morning on her kayak to receive the sunrise (two strong people can get the kayak up and down the stairs from where they left it out for us). The kitchen is small but very functional with a cozy eating area and a small comfortable couch. Even though the whole lake (Tzununa included) has frequent power outages that last 4-8 hours, none of our frozen meets unthawed so the newer freezer/fridge combo worked great for the large amount of food we stored. Beds are comfy and clean as are the showers and bathrooms. They care about their guests!

Casa Ataraxia was magical! The most amazing views of the lake - from every view and angle. The host was very responsive and helpful! He also helped fine a masseuse to come to the house for us. We did opt to use a cook to help cook and clean - we did not have to leave the house at all! And it was super hard to leave and check out… highly recommend and hope to be back soon!!

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Die Beschreibung die Unterkunft zu finden war prima und auch die Kommunikation war top. Die Dachterassen sind super zum verweilen und es werden dort Yogaclasses angeboten. In dem Bereich wird allgemein noch viel gebaut, weshalb man mit Baulärm während des Tages rechnen muss. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört. Es ist nachts generell in San Marcos etwas laut (viele bellende Hunde) weshalb man mit Ohropax schlafen sollte. Wir würden wieder kommen

I totally recommend staying at this house, the sauna was great and also it was very peaceful since it’s a big house surrounded by nature. Everything was clean and Ricardo was always willing to help. Also the host and the co-host were very friendly and proactive willing to help with everything.

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! Muy bonito alojamiento y amenidades. Nos encanto la cercania al lago y todos los pequeños detalles que tenia la propiedad, volvería a hospedarme mil veces mas.

Un lugar muy agradable, ideal para descansar en familia y disfrutar del uno de los lagos más bellos. La atención muy buena, amables, atentos. Cerca del pueblo, le jacuzzi se puede disfrutar a toda hora. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme allí.

Un lugar mágico, el lago imponente al tenerlo literalmente enfrente, el alojamiento tiene una sección arriba y otra abajo, es un terreno inclinado, la parte mágica es la de abajo y ahí hay cocina, nosotros decidimos estar en esa parte la mayor parte del tiempo. Hay muchas gradas por lo que si es recomendable llevar tenis. Si pueden nadar No se pierdan la parte lanzarse al lago desde el muelle 😍

It was a very nice stay. The host was always responsive and gave us all the required information. The house is very nice and clean and has a great lake view. After parking your car, you must go down a long stairway to get to the house, which is typical in Atitlan. The host had organized people to help us with our luggage 🙌🏻

Great property and great little house. The restaurant and facilities were perfect. Kayaking was the icing on the cake in the morning. Highly recommend.

Stunning property with an even better view. Ample space, felt so private, but still easily walkable to Santiago and tons of transport options. Nobody wanted to leave the house while we were there though because it was so nice. The private dock was a great swim and relax spot, and a couple kayaks too. Kitchen has all the basics for a big group, although no food at all and had to buy extra drinking water too. More than one key would have been helpful. But it was amazing, a beautiful place that was so perfect for us and I’d love to be able to go again. Happy new year

Incredible place!! Most beautiful view of anywhere I’ve ever stayed.. lovely little (mostly) private beach, quiet, amazing sunset views, really nice and comfortable little house. Kitchen is fully stocked with spices teas etc, and the two paddle boards were great (even for 3 of us). Easy to get a five minute tuk tuk to Panajachel, just by flagging one down on the street. Only problem was the hot water, wasn’t working until they came to fix it (immediately when we asked late at night!), then jumped around from frigid to scalding hot (fixable I’m sure).

Mi estancia en este hospedaje fue simplemente espectacular. Desde el momento en que llegamos, el personal nos recibió muy amablemente. Su atención es impecable, siempre dispuestos a ayudar con una sonrisa y asegurándose de que cada detalle de la experiencia sea perfecto. Las instalaciones son maravillosas: habitaciones cómodas, limpias y bien decoradas, con un ambiente acogedor que invita al descanso. Cada rincón del lugar está diseñado para el confort y la relajación. Pero lo más impresionante de todo es la vista. Dormir en la noche contemplando la estrellas y despertar cada mañana con el imponente Lago Atitlán frente a mis ojos fue un verdadero regalo. La belleza del paisaje, con sus aguas tranquilas y los majestuosos volcanes de fondo, crea un escenario de ensueño que nunca olvidaré. Los espacios son totalmente coloridos para fotos preciosas y tienen muchas actividades a realizarse en el lago. La comida del restaurante una delicia. Definitivamente volveré a hospedarme aquí.

Nice place for relaxing, David was very helpful. The showers are literally the best hot showers I’ve ever had in my life, not even exaggerating. So powerful and hot, and solar powered which was cool. It’s right in front of the Tzununa dock, but there was a lot of construction work on the public infrastructure when I was there (David mentioned it was terrible timing in peak season). I highly recommend not taking a suitcase there, and be prepared to be a little tired because everything requires walking up and down. You need to make sure you take ear plugs, because the cabins are next to the road and although it is only an occasional car, because they are wooden means it sounds like you are next to them. Basically 1 shop and 1 restaurant within a 10 minute walk, so it’s very secluded. Eat before 6pm or you’re not going to get any food without taking a tuk tuk into town. David was very helpful, would stay here again but definitely travel lighter.

Incredible view of the lake among beautiful trees. The property is well cared for and the host is exceptionally friendly and kind. Everything is clean. The beds are comfortable. The view is unmatched. Absolutely lovely. Kitchen is available for you to cook and prepare anything you need. Fresh Avocados are literally dropping off the trees and ready to eat. The bathrooms are fresh and clean. The service is excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Ricardo & Davids. The hosts were very kind and helpful with everything we needed. The kayaks were awesome to use and the terrace overlooking the lake was amazing in the morning for yoga, chilling, and reading. The cabins are comfortable and cute. San Marcos is about a 30 minute walk which has all the shopping & restaurants you will want. Location is amazing in terms of accessibility (right by the dock + walking distance to San Marcos). Downsides: road is directly behind the cabins so you hear and feel every vehicle passing by (it slows down in the evening and in the night almost nothing). They are working on building up a stone wall behind the cabins though, to minimize the sound. Bathrooms are also located down the hill from the cabins. Kitchen is very very basic and shared with all cabins so keep that in mind. Tzununa has very little to offer, we can recommend pizza night at Love Probiotics on Friday nights. Otherwise go to San Marcos. :)

Great place! A little bit away from the town-so getting a tuk tuk can be a little challenging but not too hard. Place was clean and unique! Luis was great at communicating!!

Todo muy bonito limpio y organizado, la comunicación fue constante y el cuidador siempre al pendiente de lo que se pudiera necesitar, la vista es impresionante.
