An incredibly quaint cottage, such a perfect romantic getaway

I booked this place for my wedding weekend and I was not disappointed. The Main house was just perfect for getting ready with the girls and the guys very much enjoying being near the pool and recreation area. There were so many villas to visit and they were all just GORGEOUS! Hats off to the lovely set up of this place. The privacy you get between all the villas and the main house was very lovely to have for the weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at Kerry’s place and would definitely stay again. Kerry was great to deal with 🙂

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here, it was in a great location & walking distance to everything we needed. The property itself is exactly as listed if not better-we would gladly recommend!

A fantastic cottage and estate with many things to do. We both don’t drink alcohol so we were worried the Hunter Valley might have been a poor choice for our anniversary but our stay at the cottage made it all the better. The hot tub was a highlight, so was the pool right near us. We loved and appreciated every little touch of local recommendation, minties and wine on arrival (keeping it for when we decide to drink again!) There is a little forest walk to do at the property and everything else was within a 15-20min drive. We felt right at home and will definitely stay there again! Our little peaceful home away from home!! Thank you so much.

Lovely mid-week stay. Check in super easy, place had everything we needed. Large well fenced yard to keep our dogs secured. 10/10 - would stay again.

What an amazing experience we had with our little ones, from waking up to feeding the horses, playing on the swing set to walking around the property. Eloise was so helpful and communicated all information that we needed. Its a perfect secluded home for getting away with the family.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Everything was as described and the location is convenient within walking distance to the Trading Post. It was a bonus to be able to bring our dog with us. We will be back.

Our stay with Sally and Romo was absolutely magical! Their cottage is impeccable - exactly as pictured, cozy and welcoming. Walking in to find freshly baked bread, homemade cookies and cakes was just the beginning. What makes this place extraordinary are Sally and Romo themselves. Their genuine warmth, joy and desire to connect made us feel like longtime friends rather than guests. Romo's personal tour of nearby towns and pubs was a highlight, as was the enchanting riverfront on their property. Our dogs had the time of their lives exploring the fields and meeting farm animals. The entire experience was filled with thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality. Our only regret? Not staying longer! We left with treats, memories, and new friends. Without doubt, this was our best Airbnb experience ever - we're already planning our return! Sally and Romo aren't just hosts, they're the epitome of hospitality and human connection.

Lily and I had a lovely time at Glenn’s place. Glenn was the perfect host -friendly and helpful.. We loved the cottage’s homely feel with designer touches. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and the addition of fresh eggs from the chickens was a nice touch. We slept well in the comfortable beds and the sauna was perfect after a long day. Additionally, the welcoming committee of pets was delightful.

Wow what a get away with the family. As soon as we walked in to river Haus it was a breath of fresh air. It was beautiful, quiet and free of clutter and mess. With its inviting nature, the property performed outstandingly well for our two kiddos who could run around the house and venture outside with all gates closed. The swing out front, toys inside, comfortable beds and beautiful bath and shower were fantastic. Also wonderful to have washer dryer available even for the weekend. Sheridan and her husband were lovely to deal with upon arrival. Sheridan provided further recommendations and we went to all of the cafes, deli’s and shops available in town and surrounding area. Couldn’t recommend this stay enough. Definitely the best Airbnb we have been too, by far!!

Wollombi Farm is stunning- from the spectacular views, to the cozy and elegant interiors. Wollombi itself is charming and the people are so lovely and friendly. Sarah was a wonderful host, personally welcoming us into the space.

Perfect spot for exploring this part of Australia. Particularly loved the sunset views from decking. Would definately stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property and can’t recommend it enough! One of the best parts of our trip was that we were able to bring our pup along. It’s not always easy to find pet-friendly accommodation. The location was fantastic, and we really appreciated being so close to local wineries. After a day of exploring the area, we enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor patio with a glass of wine. The BBQ was a perfect addition—cooking dinner and enjoying it outdoors made for some great evenings. It was the ideal spot to unwind, especially after visiting the nearby vineyards.

we had a really great 2 night stay at the house in Rothbury. There was everything we needed and although it seemed remote it wasn't far from shops and very close to the wedding venue. We even had kangaroos visiting us on the Saturday morning

We had a lovely stay and felt right at home. The owners were very responsive with messages. They were also super helpful as our daughter was a little sick so they gave us new sheets and access to the washing machine. Toys for the kids too which kept them occupied and gave us a little tour of the farm which was lovely. Would love to come back one time. The fresh loaf of bread was delicious and super thoughtful hosts.

My son and I had 10 terrific days at Mary’s cottage. He flew from America and I from Alice Springs, NT. We could see and hear the ocean. Very different from Alice. The cottage was a walk back in time, spotless clean with all facilities we needed. Mary is a gracious, caring host. Extra touches such as chocolates, eggs, coffee, tea etc were much appreciated. We did not have a car and debated hiring a one but went with Uber instead. Good choice, $8 to Swansea RSL, joined the club, $2:20 per year. Good meal and free courtesy bus home. Enjoyed every moment of my sea break. Son played golf at Belmont and Charlestown courses. $35 for twilight round, many holes as you liked and caught some nice size fish. Thank you, Mary won’t hesitate to return, cheers Cathy.

Jen’s place was great. Had all the amenities we needed for cooking a few meals and was mostly clean. The location was quiet but close to the shopping centre and a great place for the weekend. Would recommend.

One of the best Air B And B’s we have ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful walk up on arrival. Right on the Lake, completely picturesque location and absolute waterfront. Elizabeth obviously loves making everything perfect as everything has been lovingly put together. It’s beautifully styled but also completely practical with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend taking Elizabeth’s advice to utilise the outdoor BBQ to be eaten by the water. Five stars all around, thanks for a great weekend!

We enjoyed our farm stay at Jim's property. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. I enjoyed using the pool and also having my morning coffee on the balcony taking in the beautiful surrounds. Jim was a nice host, checking in on us and responded to any of our requests. Will stay again!

Fantastic place to spend Christmas with the family. Over a hectare of surrounding land with scenic views 🤩 and 4 adorable and friendly horses! Offered more than expected ☺️

We had a lovely stay for a wedding nearby. The location in the village is excellent and the home is just lovely - clearly beloved and well looked after by its owner. Peter is an outstanding host.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage is very private and peaceful and is nicely furnished with modern appliances. A great outdoor space with lovely lake access/views and fantastic sunsets. Mike and Catherine are wonderful hosts.
