House was clean, hosts were friendly. There were a lot of things to do. Everything was better than in the photos and as we expected. We had a great time there.

This place was truly magical! I would give it more stars if possible 🌟 The location was very close to Cēsis and easy to find but also private. The interior was truly outstanding and the outside area is perfect for peaceful rest by the pond and a nice barbecue. The host even provides everything you would need for cooking inside, a nice outdoors bbq and even for the sauna. The inside of the sauna house was also outstanding - you feel like you are a part of the Baltic mythology and can enjoy magical sauna vibes with everything you would need available! 🙌🏻 The host was amazingly helpful and friendly - promtly answered all of our questions. Thank you, Inese! Overall I would recommend this location for any kind of bigger event or small gathering you might have, especially the sauna. I’m definitely going back! 🤍

I made a short notice booking for Dzintars’s cabin. Something happened to the booking and a misunderstanding occurred. Dzintars and his family was very understanding and very quickly prepared everything for me as they were not aware of my arrival. I’m so grateful for their help, hospitality and understanding. They even gifted me a box of chocolate to make up for it, which was such a nice gesture even though it was a honest misunderstanding. The cabin itself is located very close to the city centre. I really enjoyed my time there and had a great rest after a couple of busy days in the beautiful city Cēsis. I can recommend this Airbnb and I wish Dzintars and his family a great summer.

I liked everything very much! Very beautiful and quiet place. Freshly renovated house and super clean. Inessa is a great host, told and showed everything. Responded to messages very quickly. I will definitely visit this cool place again ;)

This Airbnb experience was just amazing. Valters offered everything we could wish for and more. We had a truly wild experience in the countryside of Latvia. I recommend this Airbnb for everyone and it's now our official Christmas place. We did things like ice skating, cross country skiing, playing with huskies, ice swimming and much more. Book this airbnb for a guaranteed amazing experience. They even got us a Christmas tree (from the wild).

During our stay, two things stood out with equal magnitude, the generosity of Andre (his friends, brother and family), and the beauty of the cottage/lake. If south eastern Estonia is on your list, visiting the area should be on the agenda without a doubt. We stayed there for a week and have not yet scratched the surface. There’s a lot to do there in terms of hiking, cycling and exploring the hidden gems, let alone the daily swims in the lake and enjoying the sauna. It’s possible to have both a calm, relaxing time in the cottage, and a wonderful time experiencing the beauty of the region and the kindness of its people. We started the journey knowing that we would be happy to treat ourselves with this part of Estonia which we hadn’t visited before and ended up knowing that we will revisit Rõuge. We had a wonderful stay here. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was very relaxing. Baiba is a great host. We enjoyed spending time on the lake, walking around and relaxing on the hammocks. We highly recommend staying here when in Latvia.
