This place is well described by the host, beautiful scenery and places to walk to that you can sit and eat at! The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this air bnb to all of my friends!

Our Humble Abode accommodated us perfectly for our stay. It was a private spot to relax and close to The Deer Valley Ranch where we attend d a wedding!

This place is everything it's described as. Amazing river access with beautiful decks and grills for plenty of outdoor enjoyment. The deck by the river is beautiful with some steps to access the river. The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy your stay and there is plenty of sleeping space. We would certainly return for another visit.

Our cabin was beautiful! Our private pool was EPIC. Very clean, natural, and remained at the perfect temperature the entire time. My fiance and I enjoyed the privacy, beautiful scenery, the sound of the river, etc. We even utilized the kitchen and made stuffed mushrooms for dinner! The pellet stove created a calm ambience at night time. We felt the stress melt away...Thankyou 🩷

We had an incredible time. We were visiting for a wedding and the house accommodated not only our elderly father who has to use a walker or wheelchair, but also our daughter who is eight years old. The house was well stocked and well taken care of. The hot tub alone is phenomenal with the fireplace also at the top of the house. It was quite a remarkable place to stay. We hope to stay there again soon. One of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at.

Excellent location, property, amenities, and proximity to the ski resort (Monarch Mountain). The hot tub was excellent, and the mattresses and bedding were excellent!

The property is very nice. The cabins are fairly close together, but they have nice privacy walls with firewood and patio walls. We had zero cell reception (t-mobile) and the wifi was really only good for texts/email, but this was all known ahead of time. The Murphy bed worked well with kids and they enjoyed running around to the playgrounds and creek. We will definitely consider coming back in the summer....the outdoor seating and grill looked fun. Super convenient location to Monarch mountain.

Fallen Timber Ranch was magical for our family — we loved walking in the open woods and all of the outdoor activities, views, and friendly farm animals. The home was immaculate and yet warm and comfortable. My granddaughters and the adults very much appreciated the extensive library. We enjoyed our time there and made wonderful family memories — we can’t wait to go back!

First, take a photo of the key code and text to your group. I did not and left my phone in the house. So, yes, I locked us out. Everything was on my phone. My friend sent a message through AirBnB to Wendy explaining what happened. She called her right away and got us back in the house. Phew! The house is a 10-minute walk to downtown Salida, which is so cute. Full of shops, places to each, art galleries, stores for kids, an arcade, etc. One can walk to the grocery too. The house had everything we needed. It is nicely maintained, quiet and comfortable. Our only issue was the one bathroom. We managed with it. If you have a teen who takes forever anytime they in the bathroom, this could be a problem. Plenty of hot water for several showers in a row and lots of towels. Really like having the washer/dryer access even a drying rack. I would stay here again!

Cozy space in a fantastic location! I'd love to come back in the summer and spend more time walking around town. The kitchen had what we needed and the space was comfortable.

This place was absolutely perfect for a peaceful bachelorette getaway!! It may be far in the mountains but well worth every second. The while drive had breathtaking views, then when you get to the house it’s a beautiful open window to appreciate all the beauty. With plenty for beds for me and my girls to feel so cozy. Definitely want to come back here with more family!

We were only in Salida for a couple of days and wanted to be close to town. Emily's place was perfect. Very easy walk into town, minutes from F street and the river walkway. We also had our 10 y.o. dog with us and her back yard was ideal for him to go out in the morning but again, very easy to get to the river for a longer walk. The condo was comfortable and well stocked. It really was an ideal place to stay and I highly recommend it. Also, in Emily's listing, she had a link for a guided hike with Cielo. It was wonderful and if you are looking for some morning exercise, I would encourage you to contact her.

Milly was an excellent host! She was really helpful and informative. We loved her place so much, it was perfect for our group of 8! We were able to enjoy the spacious backyard, the fun family games she supplied and had fun cooking in her roomy kitchen. The house layout was great, no one ever felt like we were on top of each other. Great location with easy access to town, hot springs and the Arkansas River. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends! Thanks again Milly :).

Great place to stay wihile enjoying Salida and the surrounding trails. if you're a mountain biker or hiker that doesn't want to drive to trails, this is really a great spot. Awesome accessibility to the great restaurants and breweries in town as well.

This was a great place to stay at, it was very relaxing and just what we were looking for. Nathan was a great host and was able to answer any questions that were needed. Definetely a place I would stay at again and would highly reccomend if you are intrested in staying here!

It was a wonderful home! We enjoyed the stay alot! It is definitely as described, a cozy rest stop, but not really a place to spend all day.

The technology and the Wi-Fi service need to be upgraded to today standards with so many live programs being shown on Netflix and prime. It’s important that the devices that are being used are to today standards. You had various nights we couldn’t watch anything because either the cable was not upgraded to various channels or the devices would not stream live events because it said on the screen, the device was too old. My suggestion is to get an Apple TV download the most used apps, things like HBO Netflix, Amazon prime and allow people to login to enjoy their stay in the evening. My other advice would be to get a hot tub. It would be great to have after skiing.

This is a lovely place to stay in BV. We loved the carefully executed decor and enjoyed the personal story of the owners. The location was great for walking in that part of town and it was fun walking the trail by the river. Overall, we thought it one of the nicest places we’ve stayed!
