James is an excellent host who was very communicative and had great pre-arrival instructions including a video. The space had queen beds in each bedroom although one is in a corner and a futon in living area you could sleep on but only for a short visit. Kitchen was stocked sufficiently enough for us to cook one meal of spaghetti and we enjoyed eating in the delightful courtyard area. Lush landscaping was enjoyed and the ability to launder some clothes with provided laundry soap was very helpful! Note the instructions on fridge to turn on gas to cottage if heat is needed. The space provided a place for two couples to stay but I wouldn’t recommend any women staying in this area alone.

Super cute and simple space. Parking was easy. Great location and easy to get attractions in the area. Jamie was always quick to reply through the app. Her dogs were super cute and friendly also.

Nice location - convenient and comfortable. Patrick was a great host - very responsive and helpful. We had a lot to accomplish in one week and this space was perfect to get some work done, relax and rejuvenate, and spend time with family. Since we had nice weather, the front screen door was especially nice for us to enjoy fresh air and sunshine.

Great spot to spend 10 days. Posh 1 was modern, well appointed and clean with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

This was a great secluded rental within walking distance to the beach, little shops and restaurants. Kristina was very proactive in response to any needs we had.

Five stars - There was a scheduling mix up over the holiday weekend with the cleaning service before we arrived but our host, Rachel, quickly came over with cleaning supplies in hand and took care of it all, making it really nice & clean for our weekend stay.

Possibly the best place I’ve ever booked. Gordon greeted us upon arrival, and was very helpful with local recommendations and making sure we felt at home during our stay. The place itself was small, but intimate and had everything we needed to appreciate the inside and outdoors. There was plenty of light and hot water in the cabin itself, and the outside of it holds warm outdoor lights in case you’re not too fond of complete darkness. Overall, I’m definitely coming here again.

Easily the best host i’ve experienced. Wendy and Nate were beyond helpful and welcoming to us. Her Cozy getaway set up beautifully. A nice scene of greenery outside to relax and meditate. The starter snacks, coffee and hygiene items were so appreciated! I would recommend everyone to book with wendy! TRULY AWESOME! much love

We had a snafu at a different airbnb and Nathalie was kind enough to let us book last minute and check in early for our stay, it was very kind of her. The space is great - quiet, comfortable bed, lots of amenities(bottled water, shampoo, conditioner) and it was very clean. Nathalie was very communicative, flexible, and easy to work with. It's maybe the only airbnb I have ever been to where you don't have to do a bunch of stuff before checking out, which is something I am not used to and very relaxing. You can walk to restaurants on Wilshire or Olympic and our dog loved sniffing around the neighborhood. We loved our short stay and appreciate Nathalie for being so kind!

an amazing trip! christopher gave us some great recs for restaurants and they were really yummy and affordable. the guest studio was pretty and felt very serene. the nearest beach is a 20 min walk but only a 4 min drive with lots of free parking. downtown sb was also 15 mins away driving and very fun. the location is an absolute steal with great things to do in carpinteria like seal watching (so cute!) and some fun shopping and food in sb as well! highly recommend

So happy I found this place. Peaceful, serene, very safe and close to all things. I enjoyed the garden and how calm it felt. Definitely helped me as I was in town to visit family. Geoff was super nice and friendly. Highly recommend, would definitely book again ☺️!

This accommodation was magical! So beautiful and clean, surrounded by nature and still close to everything! Alina was so helpful and friendly, we can't wait to come back 🥰 We experienced pure bliss just by sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view.

Dana and Chris have done a great job creating this peaceful and private retreat. It’s secluded from the main house and has nothing but mountains behind it. Got to see 3 deer during my stay. Super quiet - no road noise, no distractions, it was awesome!

I had a lovely stay at Diana's beautiful Silver Lake studio. I was only in town for a short visit, but loved having this cool and comfortable home base. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Nichola’s place was perfect for us and our dog! It’s in a beautiful location with lots of delicious food nearby. Also a nice dog park that’s only a 5 min drive away. The space was much bigger than I expected, very nicely designed, and extremely clean. It had everything we needed! Thank you Nichola!

Our stay at Hamlin Cottage was very nice. The place was super clean and very well appointed with everything one needs. It was beautifully decorated as well. Jennifer's place was absolutely gorgeous! We we're a bit nervous about it being on someone's property but it felt so private, cozy, and homey!! The outside was stunning with the fruit trees and birds and we felt right at home. We will definitely be back!! :))

We loved our stay during the long weekend! The studio is exactly as advertised. Super clean, extremely soft bed, and beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean. Easy check-in and great communication. Perfect amenities for us, including coffee and cold drinks in the fridge. We slept with the windows open to enjoy the cool ocean air and wake up to the birds chirping. Managing the driveway was no issue for us during the day or after dark. Super close to Malibu Brewing Company, which we love! Only an hour from Ventura for our trip to Channel Islands, which had spots not nearly as beautiful for the same price or much more! Wonderful stay from start to finish. Would definitely stay again!

Matt was a great host! Everything was clean and it was easy checking in and out! The location is beautiful, Matt gave us a tour of the upstairs lookout and a nearby trail and we saw the best views. During the tour he was very informative about the area and gave us a sense of comfort being there. I would definitely visit again!

Jenn and Dave were wonderful hosts, always quick to respond to messages, and to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. They have a beautiful gem of a place. Clean, cozy and quiet with everything you need for your stay. We appreciated the extra effort with things like toothbrush's, toothpaste, lotion and even hair ties if you forgot them. We would love to come back and stay!

Polina was an absolutely delightful Host. I traveled from the East Coast and the photos and descriptions were exactly as they were listed. The space was quiet, clean and exactly what I needed for this bucket list trip and my interactions with Polina were very pleasant. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful place to stay with flowers and a great hot tub. The host was very kind and great at communicating. I will definitely look into staying again if I go back to LA.
