Great house quite near the water. Well appointed and clean. Loved the large screened in back patio and spacious yard. Didn’t have time to cruise around in the golf cart, but certainly a useful perk. Quick walk to downtown area with some good food and beverage offerings.

Samantha was wonderful and the house and location is really perfect. its setting is so nice and quiet, and the house is set up perfect for a family with a great game room upstairs and tons of games. We spent thanksgiving there with our family and the house had everything you could need for cooking for sure. It was perfect. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors more. Waking up every day and going out on the dock to feed the three swans was really cool. We'll be back.

Heather was an amazing host, and the home was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the waterfront views and the peaceful early morning walks are only some of the reasons why I would stay again. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, look no further.

The place was beautiful and very clean. My only concern was no blinds downstairs for privacy and the oven needs cleaning. I will rent again.

We spent a month in this apartment while waiting for our new home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was spacious, comfortable, and an absolute pleasure to stay in. What truly made this experience exceptional was the hosts. They were beyond amazing—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had everything we needed. When we had an issue with the refrigerator, they didn’t just fix it; they replaced it with a brand-new one within two days! Their kindness and efficiency made us feel incredibly valued as guests. Spending a full month here, we truly got to appreciate how well-maintained and well-equipped the apartment was. It was a perfect home away from home, and we are so grateful for the hospitality we received. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

So very peaceful. Loved watching the birds fly off an on to the neighboring pier. Fit our needs perfectly and with the well stocked kitchen we were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

Location was awesome, the bedsheets were the softest, clear instructions for a peaceful stay, was very much needed space and break after moving out of my place and before transitioning to my new place.

I enjoyed my stay and was surprised when John on his own sent me a list of things to do and restaurants around the area. He was very helpful to make sure I had all I needed in the house. The place was clean and well maintained. No complaints, definitely recommend if you want to be near DC but not stay in the DC area to rest.

Pam's place was absolutely perfect for our weekend away. She even had a fire going and waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment is decorated right out of an HDTV show. I have traveled all over this country and stayed at many Airbnb places. Pam, is by the best host I've ever experienced.

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

Gerri's countryside cottage was just as described. I was in awe of the natural surroundings and the privacy of the cottage. I had the pool all to myself, which was very relaxing and just what I needed. If you enjoy walking, there are many areas on the estate to explore and enjoy the natural views. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind, I highly recommend Gerri's cottage. You will not be disappointed. It's an outstanding Airbnb. I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Gerri for your lovely hospitality.

This was an amazing stay for our family! I had my family of 9 move to Maryland from Colorado and unfortunately, the house we were supposed to move in to fell through. We were able to use this wonderful for 2 weeks while we got on our feet and found a new place to live. John was a dream host, who helped us with local recommendations, help us understand the surrounding areas, and even went out of his to help me put air in my tires when I found a new vehicle. The cabin was cozy, and secluded, making it an incredibly peaceful place to feel at home amongst our cross country moving koas. We are very grateful for John and his welcoming demeanor! We will definitely consider another stay at this beautiful cabin!
