The house was just as described. It was a short drive to the slopes and to nearby towns/restaurants. It was the perfect amount of space for our group of 6. The teens enjoyed the hot tub. We all enjoyed the fire place. There were plenty of essentials and more. Comfy bedding, nice pots/pans, and plenty of towels. Quick communication when we had questions. We’d stay here again.

We stayed here whilst on a skiing trip to Boyne. It's a very easy 12min drive to the ski hill. The town is very cute and walkable from the house. Although we didn't take our pet, it is pet friendly and I always appreciate that. We would love to go back in the summer.

The host was very friendly and quick responding. Location is beautiful. Cool little cabin on the lake. Very well stocked with utensils, glassware, and games.

Beautiful and spacious house in a gorgeous setting! The place is modern, clean, well-laid out, and comfortable inside, with plenty of room for our group of 10. The hot tub was great, and the rest of the outdoors was gorgeous in the snow. Kyle was responsive, flexible, and friendly when we requested a slightly later checkout time. We would definitely come back again!

I stayed in Tyler's home with my family in late March. It is nested in a very private and quiet setting amongst the trees with wonderful views of the lake. In reality the house exceeds the photos shared online. The living room and porch are especially inviting with a expansive views and access to great breezes. The kitchen is gracious and good for large groups cooking together. There is plenty of room for everyone to hang out together or quietly / alone in the various bedrooms and outdoor options. My kids loved the hot tub and easy access to the lake. We'd definitely stay at Tyler's house again - it is a wonderful place to simply unwind.

Loved out stay! The place was spacious with areas to hang out as a group (10) or separate if we needed to. Love that there were additional things to do like the pool table and hot tub. We also enjoyed the fireplace. We ended up getting a huge snow storm while we were there and it was so beautiful watching it fall through the big windows. The grounds were lovely as well and perfect for a short walk with the kids and for sledding. The surroundings were quite and we enjoyed our stay quite a bit.

Marc and his team were excellent hosts! Kind and always quick to respond. The place is spacious, comfortable and clean. The amenities (kitchen, bedding, bathroom) were all well stocked and never lacking. We loved using the hot tub to heal our body after skiing. The combination of beautiful scenery and privacy really made it feel like our own space. Excellent value. We’d like to come back in summer to enjoy the lake :)

My mother, sister, and I stayed at the cottage for a mother-daughter weekend. It was perfect for us and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The listing was accurate and everything was as described, or even better. The cottage is decorated with charming furniture, art, and antiques. Everything was easy to find, and the kitchen was especially well-appointed. There were instructions for everything, including the fireplace, hot tub, and sauna (all of which we enjoyed). Perhaps best of all, at least for our quiet and cozy weekend, there isn't a single TV in the house! Plenty of places to sit down and read or just relax and enjoy each other's company. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and downtown Petoskey was a 10 minute drive away. Very convenient. Clara was a communicative and kind host, and I enjoyed interacting with her. We definitely want to return in the summer months to enjoy the gardens and spend more time outside. Thank you for helping to make our weekend special!

2nd time for us and will definitely come back again. The wrap around deck allowed us to have coffee in the am without disturbing anyone else. The river and surrounding area is so peaceful and calm. Great accomodations and beautiful view.

Nick’s famed Mushroom House was a delight. Nick welcomed us into his warm and cozy cottage with tulips, wine and chocolate - what could be more romantic?! Wintertime views of the blue ice on Lake Michigan added to the allure. Before our arrival, he had shoveled snow and sidewalks. The kitchen had everything we needed, and nearby restaurants in town provided several of our meals. Nick is a great host. He always responded quickly with answers to any of our questions and welcomed us as friends. If you want a quiet, cozy retreat in an historical cottage with unobstructed views of the lake, Be Our Guest is a perfect place with a wonderful host.

A perfect fall getaway! It was so peaceful and beautiful. Loved the sound of the waves. The window porch was the perfect place to read a book… or even just zone out to the lovely surroundings and sounds.

This was the ideal spot for our Thanksgiving family reunion! The cabin was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The owner was incredibly helpful, especially when it came to instructions on getting to the location and accommodating our kids' and pet. We'd definitely stay here again!

We went to snowmobile. It was a tight fit parking our trailer but it worked. The house was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. We were close to the trails and the neighborhood was quiet at night. Communication was excellent when we had questions. Excellent host.

This beautiful cabin was the perfect setting for our retreat. The home is situated right on Paradise Lake with easy access to the water. The location is also incredibly close to the upper peninsula and made day trips to local landmarks easy. The rooms were clean, cozy, and spacious enough for a four person group and dog. We would absolutely book this cabin again.

Great place to unwind and relax! Ellsworth Lake is such a beautiful spot and holds many memories for our family.

The coziest little cottage! Big enough for 4 of us and in such a convenient location near downtown and Boyne! We had a little bit of trouble with the lock not letting us in but Mary was very responsive and helpful and we probably weren’t waiting for more than 5mins! We definitely would stay here again!

We booked this place for a girls weekend trip and it was gorgeous. The water is beautiful, the house is decorated so cute, the beds are extremely comfy. We loved the cute glassware, the big comfy couch, and the yummy smelling soaps. The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful. It was a perfect weekend. Their hospitality is top notch!

Linda’s place was absolutely wonderful. We stayed at the end of the season and Charlevoix was beautiful.

The house is so comfortable. closed to things we wanted to do and see. Great deck and dock. Kitchen was very well supplied. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pictures don’t do it justice! The home was perfect for our ski weekend. Spacious and the open floor plan made it great for spending time as a family. Clean spaces. Kind and responsive hosts. Will definitely book again for next year!

Everything was wonderful! Flexible with check-in time, the home was clean, and you could tell they made an effort to include small touches. Only two things were slightly subpar check-in; the door was snowed in. Directions said the garage was locked, but thankfully, it was the same code, or we would not have been able to get in. It is advertised as having a wood-burning fireplace, but it is nonfunctional. Aside from that, it was a great experience, and I would book again.

Stacie's place is in a beautiful setting, with views of the lake from inside the home as well as from the outdoor seating around the firepit. It's location was an easy, quick drive from Legs Inn and Tunnel of Trees, to Sheplers, to board the ferry, and to the Dark Sky Park. Highly recommend! Stacie was helpful and informative about details for check in and out.

This place was such a gem! Stayed for a quick long weekend for some skiing at the highlands which was about a 20 min drive. This place was clean and beds were cozy. The driveway was plowed for us which was super nice. Easy to find with some close and convenient restaurants. No complaints! Would absolutely return

We had an amazing stay!! The location was perfect—very peaceful, and walkable to Lake Michigan, a grocery store, and downtown. The airbnb was perfect for a couple and had all the amenities we needed. Thomas greeted us when we arrived and went out of his way to make sure that we had an enjoyable time, but also let us have our privacy. He was interested to know if there were any improvements that could be made to improve our stay, but we couldn’t think of anything! We will definitely be back in the summer!
