Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

Amazing location and host . Truly everything you could need . Spotless house and very well equipped . We already booked next year for our 4th year in a row . We love it so much . Thank you Jennifer !

Our family had a perfect stay here. The accommodations surpassed our expectations. We felt like right at home here during our entire stay.

We had a great long-weekend stay with our toddler and small dog. The house is in a cute neighborhood that's walkable to the restaurants/shops in downtown Harbor Springs. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. The toys in the living room were a nice surprise and helpful to keeping our toddler entertained as we unloaded the car. Very clean and nicely updated/decorated. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we came back to Harbor Springs.

This place was great for our group! It was clean and walkable to the ski slopes! Great little kitchen that had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner for everyone after a day skiing. Could walk to Boyne Mountain resort for the food and drinks. There was overflow parking if needed.

Great place the our family of 6. It accommodated us really well and the location was perfect for our weekend of skiing. Kyle and Kara were very accommodating and communicated well. We will definitely be back!

We just concluded a delightful 2 week stay at Carolynn’s place. The first week we had our daughter and family join us. The home sits on a beautiful quiet property complete with a large deck and outside sitting area. Our grandkids loved their private loft. There were ample supplies to make our stay comfortable. Great showers, W & D, etc although the kitchen was dated. The facilities at Birchwood are outstanding (golf, swimming, and food) and Harbor Springs is a short 10 drive away.

Everybody was pleased by how nice it was. No one had any complaints and it was a great house!

We enjoyed the record player, ping pong, and basketball! 😀 Especially High country snows by Dan Fogelberg! We thought the layout of the common room was great. It was very close to Boyne Mountain and had a large kitchen for cooking! We had 7 adults total with one sleeping on the couch.

Carol was absolutely fabulous to rent from & work with on all the details. We highly recommend her place & looking forward to heading back again!

The house was beautiful and actually more spacious than expected. Plenty of room for 3 adults and two kids. Off street parking was great. Derek was very responsive and helpful. Great water pressure, nice kitchen to cook in, lots of restaurants/shops within walking distance, and a nice neighborhood. We would stay again if in the area.

We enjoyed our stay! Super close to the slopes. Lots of room. The hot tub is as a great bonus! Robbie was great to work with and went above and beyond taking a trip to the post office after my son forgot his computer. Would definitely stay here again.

great place and great hospitality

Phil was a great host and responded quickly to our texts. He had bread and fresh eggs waiting for us. We enjoyed walking the premises, lots to see. I especially like woken up by a rooster. It’s a very peaceful and quaint home. Check-in was easy.

We had a great weekend stay here with our two kids and our pup . Perfect location for skiing and access to town. The house is thoughtfully appointed and cozy. Great weekend getaway!

Very spacious house, plenty of room for 3 families (12 people). The house was very well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of activities to do in the basement also and kept the kids plenty busy! Crystal was very responsive!

The home was absolutely perfect for our larger family! We had zero issues the entire time we were there. Would definitely stay there again ☺️

The Hideaway was an ideal home for our large family (11 adults, 6 children under 9 years old) to rent for our ski vacation. The description perfectly matched what we walked in to, so we were able to easily identify sleeping arrangements ahead of time. From the hot tub (ready to go, just take the cover off and get in) to the fireplace (with stacked wood right outside the door), everything was perfect. Chaya was also very responsive. It snowed the day we arrived and one of our front-wheel drive vehicles had a problem getting up the long winding private drive leading up to the house. The next morning when I messaged about the problem, Chaya resolved it immediately by having the drive plowed and salted. Our family all agreed that we'd definitely stay there again, in any season!

My family and our dog came to Northport for a family wedding at Willowbrook Mill and had an AMAZING stay at the Straubel House. The house was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The dog loved the fenced yard and we were like a block off the bay! We could walk everywhere including to the venue of the wedding. Octavia was friendly and helpful - wonderful host!!

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Laura's place! The property was impeccably clean, which immediately made us feel at home. The kitchen was a standout feature; it was incredibly well-equipped, providing us with everything we needed to prepare our meals with ease. My teenage boys particularly appreciated the separate suite, as it gave them the independence and personal space they craved during our trip. Unfortunately, we faced an unexpected storm that knocked out the power overnight. However, Laura was extremely responsive and supportive throughout the situation, checking in on us and ensuring we had everything we needed. Thankfully, the power was restored by morning, allowing us to make the most of our last day there. Overall, our stay was delightful, and I would not hesitate to return in the future!
