This lake house was the perfect place to getaway for the weekend, and we wish we could have stayed longer! The views of the lake were incredible. There was tons of outdoor space to enjoy. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed to cook meals at home. The house was very clean and the master bedroom bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed this house and would love to rent it again!

Nice lake house. Comfortable spaces. The living room was spacious but only 1 table lamp to light the space after dark. This house is not one to pick for anyone with mobility issues as all bedrooms are downstairs and kitchen/living room upstairs. We enjoyed our stay.

The Cozy Cottage was a great weekend get away for a friend’s wedding at Lake Norman. Great house that’s welcoming, spotless, and has a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy. Linda is a fantastic host - great communicator, exceedingly kind and very responsive.

the place was worth a good bit more than what we paid for. We stay in a lot of Airbnb's, I actually remodel Airbnbs. This was a great find. We will definitely recommend it and use it again if possible. some of the nicest hosts we've ever worked with.

Million dollar views! We enjoyed our stay beautiful views of the sunset right on the lake. This place was so peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Scott communicated and checked on us during our stay. Will definitely stay again!

Ok you have to stay here! The house is just lovely with beautiful vaulted ceilings, wood beams, bright sunlight filtering through the giant windows and skylights complete with beautiful views. It is designed to feel peaceful, stylish and comfortable. It literally has ALL the things to do and plenty of privacy. I can’t even list it all the amenities in the space given. To top it off the host Allison was beyond thoughtful! There was a little sign to welcome us and she left a cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Made us feel like we were staying in the home of close friends. Seriously just rent this one, you WILL love it!

What a wonderful stay we had. The photos do not do it justice; the house is gorgeous and you immediately feel at home. The pool and lake combination meant we had everything we needed! We will absolutely be back. John proactively brought an outside fan when the temperatures got hot outside, and along with the beautiful shade from the deck it was perfect. Kids and adults and our pup had an absolutely perfect stay.

This was our second time staying at Anna’s place. The house is fantastic. There were 6 of us, and the house was more than enough. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The property is fantastic with great places to hang out by the water. The yard games available were a lot of fun too! We can’t wait to stay here again next time we visit.

Great place for a lake weekend! I stayed here with 4 of my girlfriends and we had so much fun. There were plenty of floats, life jackets and activities for all of us to enjoy. I would definitely recommend staying here with your friends or family if you're looking for a little getaway.

We absolutely loved this place! Stayed here with my family and in laws for thanksgiving. The place is stunning, just as shown in the pictures, very clean, and incredibly well stocked. They thought of literally every details. Hosts were also incredible responsive…we needed a step stool and they dropped off two options within 10 minutes. We will absolutely be back. Absolutely the BEST play to stay! We booked a 3-night stay for a weekend getaway. I found Sun-filled Lakefront Cottage Oasis by happenstance while looking for a retreat at Lake Norman. It was exactly what we had hoped for! A quiet, cozy, clean cottage on a beautiful property with breathtaking views of the lake. It's just a short drive into town with plenty of places to eat but also had a kitchen (very well stocked) so you could cook yourself and stay in (& why not with those views). The pier was great, and it had nice shade to sit and relax while reading a book, fishing, or just enjoying nature. The cottage was extremely comfortable overall with everything you could possibly need for a getaway. We loved that you have a lake view from all rooms of the cottage. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and gracious. I loved the recommendations as to what to see and where to eat in Sherrill’s Ford put together by the owner! Absolute perfection…We will definitely be back!!

We had a great stay! Jane and James were wonderful hosts and very helpful and responsive. The house had plenty of room, beds were very comfortable and the fenced yard was nice for a little one to be able to play. Very convenient and easy to get to places in the area. Will definitely look to stay here next time we are in Mooresville!

Provided space and amenities were just right for our 2 teens, German Shepherd, wife & me. We have family friends in the area, so we are likely to return to this listing. We might bring our own kayaks next time just to balance out our options and in case the pontoon boat isn't available. I will remain a smidge jealous of the kitchen when I get home. My height-challenged spouse might've appreciated a step-stool for some cabinets and for using the clothes-dryer. We appreciated the selection of board games during the rainiest days and that the home seemed to be free of manufactured scents (like scented candles, etc.). Turns out, the water off the dock will yield some fun catfish catches. Cast southward and let it sit about 2 to 3 feet under a bobber. We baited our hooks with doughballs blended with cheese, Italian dressing, & brown sugar. Caught 8 in total during the last 2 days of our stay.

Our stay was wonderful! We loved this home and property. It is in a neighborhood, but it is so private and feels secluded. We were very comfortable here. The home smelled great! The beds were SO comfortable. The host was very responsive. We would love to stay here again the future.

Beautiful Airbnb! A bit tricky driving to the house but overall amazing and well worth the stay!!! This host also allowed me to host my family and friends for an event! Theyre the best!! More than excited to book and stay when it gets warmer out :)

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.

Aaron and McKenzie were terrific hosts! If you’re looking for a peaceful and serene getaway, this is a great spot. The lake view from this location is superb. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the private dock, which had some incredible sunrises. Kayaks for guest use were also a big plus! A+ visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved our stay on the lake. I loved the area. It was a great place to take walks and enjoy the outdoors. Our boys really enjoyed the kayaks. The house was really close to so many places and activities in the Charlotte area.

My 3 friends and I drove 9 hrs from NJ to spend the wknd with a friend in Mooresville. Our 1st (of several) OMG moments came as we pulled in (and down) the driveway and saw the lake right in front us. James place was AMAZING! The external pics don't do the place justice. The cabin is only minutes from shopping and great dining. The location right on the lake is priceless. Hanging on the boat dock or sitting on the porch watching the sunset were highlights of our stay. My friends and I loved the house! We highly recommend it and will be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Roberta’s place! Definitely recommend, especially when the weather is warmer so the lake activities can be enjoyed.

What an amazing Christmas family get away. It was worth every penny! It was easy to check in and there was a little welcome kit with snacks and s'mores ingredients. We brought our own Christmas decorations thinking it would not be done but to our surprise, there was a beautiful tree and stockings already. We enjoyed using the firepit down near the water which was fully stocked with wood. It felt like our own slice of paradise but was still close to grocery stores and places to eat. We had everything we needed and the host was very responsive when we had questions. If you're thinking about renting this place, just do it. You and your family will love it.
