Great place overlooking the lagoon and easy walk to the beach. Well stocked Beach supplies! They are not joking when they say beware of alligators… we met one under the deck;)

This place was a fanastic getaway for a girls trip. I loved the peacefulness of being on the lake. You are a quick ride to either Savannah or Tybee...perfect for exploring and enjoying both areas! The house is so comfortable. Lots of extra details that were very much appreciated...snacks on the counter, plenty of paper products, spices & seasonings if you feel like cooking, and throw blankets (it was chilly when we were there!). We will definately come back to this house and we appreciate the responsiveness of the hosts!

Loved our stay and the amenities! They made it easy to bring just clothes. The location is close to the beach but hidden away. The area was filled with other pets so it felt like a dog oasis.

You get what you see in the pictures. The location is lovely. While the beach access isn’t private, it wasn’t crowded at all. It’s about 150 feet to the start of the wooden boardwalk and another 150 feet on that boardwalk before you hit sand. (I mention this for families who may worry about mobility issues with any of their members). There’s a really solid restaurant called “the deck” a 3 minute walk away (fish and chips were great). The porch has a clear sight path to the beach. You can hear it at night. The breeze comes through. The bedrooms were great. The kitchen and living area was enormous. I do think it’s important to point out that the living area is on the floor above the bedrooms. It was no issue for my family…but could see how it would be important if you have people who like to sleep in and others who are up early. Importantly, the host was incredibly communicative. It was usually less than an hour before she responded to me. Great spot.

We had a great stay with Mary-Ellen. She was always friendly and proactive. The flat is just like the pictures - small but cosy. The location in the marsh is great and the neighbourhood is lovely. Very cute dog! We would love to come back!

Beautiful little studio get away. Very walkable area with restaurants, shops, bars with live music. Had a great weekend! 35 mins to Savannah and 15 mins to Hilton Head.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s over the years and this one was possibly my favorite ever! Carol’s place was surrounded by gorgeous big oaks and azaleas far enough back from the street that there was no street noise, as well as nestled right against a cute little pond/lake that was an absolute hotbed for fun wildlife like owls, raccoons, herons and more! Location wise it was absolutely perfect; we have stayed out at Tybee and in the city before as well and this place is smack dab between everything - literally 15-20 minutes from everywhere we needed to go, and the drive was super easy. We were close enough to both the beach and downtown that we could easily pop over to either, but not so close that we were drowning in tourists and noise. The house itself was the perfect size for my wife and myself, with a fun floor plan, cozy kitchen, spacious living room and two cute bedrooms - plus tons of natural light, and excellent views of the yard and it’s inhabitants. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay! The location is perfect in that it’s close to the downtown but nestled in a quieter part of town. It was easy to get in and out of the community and while we did not use the amenities, they looked very nice! I highly recommend staying here, especially for families!

My daughter had a dance competition at the Savannah Convention Center and the location of this place was perfect for going each day. The space was a perfect size for the 3 of us for the weekend.
