We had stayed at Phyllis’s before and were looking forward to this visit. Unfortunately health issues got in the way, and we kept holding out hoping the next day would allow us to make this trip. Unfortunately the health issues didn’t clear, so we were unable to make this trip. Dang!! Sorry, Phyllis!!!

Jim was so flexible. At first I thought i was going to get there early on friday so I wrote him if I could check in early. He said I could be there at noon. We did not end up leaving texas until friday evening so we arrived around 10 am on saturday. The place looked so amazing I still wanted to stay an extra day anyway, I asked if I could add an extra day to my stay since we missed the friday (of course we meant to pay) and he said we definitely could and since we missed friday we could stay the extra day for free! I intended to pay but he said it was fine! Then he walked my kids and I through the main property. The deck, the boathouse, the lake! Wow!!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! It was like a scene from a movie. Jim offered up sodas and waters and told us if we needed any we can get some at anytime. Walked us inside the main house and said we could get coffee and overall a great and kind host. While out he was messaging me on the AirBNB app to suggest places to visit! 🙌🏼

This spot was extremely convenient and cozy if you don’t mind smaller spaces. I had everything I needed, and despite some minor inconveniences of utilities, Shelby was super helpful and had everything taken care of for me. Would absolutely stay here again!

Had a fantastic stay! The converted vintage school bus was unique and cozy, with a separate building that included all the necessary amenities. Both the spacious covered patio and the fire pit areas were perfect for relaxing and chill time. The peaceful, woodsy neighborhood made for a truly tranquil experience. Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely amazing! My best friend and I wanted to stay closer to a festival this year and I am so happy we chose to stay here! It was very nice, and comfortable for us two! Most places now have very strict rules, but these rules were very reasonable and respectful. It was location in a very safe area with a beautiful view of the lake. The only thing that was not the best was the pull out couch(mainly because we are pretty tall women) but what pull out couch is 5 stars any way!🤣 We both said we would 100 % stay here again no doubt! The Sassafras was an amazing tiny home built into an iso-container. It is nestled on the bank of the Saluda River. I expected to be distracted by the buzz of traffic being close to big city life. We were minutes away from downtown Greenville. S it turned out, it was impossible not to get lost in the unobstructed views and soothing sounds of the Saluda. I recommend buying the bundles of firewood they have onsite for sunset s’mores. Katie was an incredibly attentive, responsive, and accommodating host deserving 6 stars. The Sassafras tiny container home afforded me the respite I was looking for without having to drive 2-3 hours. With the warm weather right around the corner, the lazy river kayak or tubing float options take things to a whole other level. I look forward to a summer stay at The Sassafras. I highly recommend both the host and listing.

Such a great and unique stay.

We took our 3 young sons to stay in the “zombie truck” (uni-mog) for the weekend. I was a little nervous being off grid for the first time with them for 2 nights, but they had a BLAST! They could play and be loud and get dirty and I didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone with the noise that comes along with 3 boys. The river was beautiful and they learned to skip stones. The hike there and back was a fun experience. We were all able to just sit back, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company. Glen and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. They definitely went above and beyond to make this a memorable birthday weekend for me, and it was very much appreciated. We are already planning a trip back. The boys want to check out the cabin next time!

We didn’t stay long but the camper felt just like our own! The place was clean, and had everything you needed. Even had a few farm fresh eggs in the fridge 😊

Unique set-up near Brevard area. We enjoyed the unique stay! clean, exactly as advertised. Close to excellent hiking spots, good food spots and outdoor brewery for after our hikes. The shower was amazing... we enjoyed the outdoor area

Brian’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and close to Tryon International Equestrian. The description was exact and we had everything we needed. They were very friendly and welcoming and we felt right at home. This will be our new place to stay anytime we come to Tryon for equestrian events.

I booked the place for a Valentine getaway for my granddaughter (they have a young infant. I’ve stayed there myself and thought they would really love it. They did, but broke the commode and I had to pay for the damages. Shannon was great about it. Just wish the kids had of given us heads up. It’s a great little getaway. Highly recommend.

Very nice get away, easy to find and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly ! Very quiet and secluded, perfect for a weekend getaway!

Steve was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. He was quick to respond when we needed assistance with the internet. Our daughter had a great time and our dogs did as well!

We stayed in the bandwagon with our two girls. And we did lots of excursions on the farm well worth it and will definitely be coming back again.

Great deal for a really nice place. Had a small hiccup with the hot water heater but Roy responded quick and resolved the issue, very pleased with my stay at their place.
