My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Our recent girls' weekend getaway at this sleepy little cabin in Cheboygan was nothing short of perfect! It was the ideal spot for a cozy, relaxing retreat with our moms and cousins, and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful setting. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warmth and comfort of the cabin. The space was thoughtfully designed, making us feel right at home. The fireplace quickly became the heart of our stay—we spent hours watching the snow gently fall outside while staying toasty inside with blankets, hot drinks, and great conversation. It was exactly the kind of slow, peaceful escape we were looking for. The cabin had everything we needed, from comfortable beds to a well-equipped kitchen where we made snacks and shared meals. The quiet surroundings added to the charm, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy each other’s company without distractions. If you’re looking for a charming, peaceful retreat in Northern Michigan, this cabin is an absolute gem.

We had a wonderful stay. Chose Mackinaw City as our hub for a winter birding trip. The house was perfect, with everything we needed to feel right at home. Just minutes from town. Hosts were quick to respond to our questions and so nice! We would definitely choose to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay on Labor Day weekend. Bonfires, wildlife and great weather. The home is beautiful and very comfortable for our family of 8 adults and two little ones. Our first visit to Indian River and it is a wonderful little town. Would highly recommended this property!

Location! Location! Location! Sitting by the lake for sunrises and sunsets was amazing. The home was charming and we had a marvelous time.

5 star out of 5 is not even close!!!! 10 out of 5 would be more accurate. You will not find a cleaner, more well- planned/ use of space, and friendlier hosts. Joanne and Tim went so far above and beyond with so many thoughtful, personal touches. From the fresh baked bread, custom selected wine, painted rock, and hand written thank you card, and it does not stop there. Plain and simple, if you are reading this review, book it now before it's too late, because I will never stay anywhere else if I am in the area. To all other airbnb hosts, these two have set the bar. Good luck even coming close.

A Perfect Stay in a Cozy, Well-Equipped Home! I had an amazing experience at Goerge’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was ideal, with easy access to ferry point for Mackinac Island. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and can’t wait to return. Thank you, George, for making our trip so memorable!

Great place, great location! This place was perfect for our stay with our dog. The space was clean and cozy! The back yard views are stunning. Very relaxing to hear the lake with the windows open. Ron was very welcoming and his place is wonderful, would definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lem's Paradise! The place was exactly what we needed for the five of us. Deb even brought us home-baked cookies when we arrived! Such great hospitality and we enjoyed meeting them. Their property is beautiful and well maintained, plus it was so peaceful and scenic! Note: Be sure to bring bug spray to help ward off the biting flies down along the shore of the lake!

I love this cabin. The cabin is clean and comfortable. It is stocked with anything you would need for a comfortable stay. I come back here every year because it is so beautiful, peaceful, and cozy.

We loved our stay at the 3 little cottages! It has everything we needed and more. The lakeside area was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as well. The cottages were clean and comfortable and had all basic amenities covered. We enjoyed all the extra toys provided in the shed. Lori was so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave and can not wait to come back next year!

A place we will never forget. Quiet and exactly as advertised. Lovely lake with swans and ducks swimming AROUND everyday. We will certainly return if we can and recommend to our friends and family. We have stayed in several cottages and this one was the best ever. WE WERE SO BLESSED TO HAVE HAD THIS VACATION.

What a great house along with fantastic hosts. Everything you need is provided for your stay. The location is perfect for seeing the wonderful sights in Northern Michigan., We loved every minute at the house and were sad to leave. Eric's place is exactly what an "up north" cottage should be. Cozy, rustic, comfortable, and in the middle of beautiful surroundings. We loved it! It was exactly as described and provided everything we needed. Eric was a great host, too. I mentioned that my husband and I were taking a weekend up north as a way to celebrate my birthday, and he ACTUALLY REMEMBERED! I walked in to find a birthday card and a token gift on the table. He also gave great instructions and local info, and stayed dialed in the entire weekend. As for the area, we drove to Harbor Springs and explored the Tunnel of Trees. We also biked the Little Traverse Wheelway from Harbor Springs to Petosky. And we checked out the fantastic bike trail right near Eric's place, which takes you to Aloha State Park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

This was my husband and I's second time staying at Fernside....and most definitely will not be the last! We love all this special place had to offer, and enjoy how close it is to some of our favorite spots! It's easily our favorite Airbnb in Michigan, I can't recommend it enough!
