Absolutely beautiful weekend at Jacob hut. The hut was a clean and tidy space perfect for a cosy weekend. Plenty of space for dining in - in adverse weather -once you fold the bed up. But the outside space is perfect in good weather. The location was brilliant for peace and tranquility, there's a lovely pub a 10 minute walk away - The Rising Sun (take a torch for evenings!) that serves great food. Matt was super responsive and the pre-heat of the hot tub is well worth organising. He also took our luggage up in the buggy to save dragging it up the hill! For those that are dubious about a wood fired hot tub like I was - there's a cold water hose next to it so we could control the temperature where required which was a huge bonus. Matt provides plenty of kindling and logs - we had it on all weekend! The breakfast hamper was lovely, and easy to cook in the kitchen space with plenty of kitchen equipment/utensils. Thanks so much Matt - will definitely return!

Absolutely stunning property with a beautiful view looking out to sea. modern furnishings and the property is fitted with everything you need. little touches of cookie, coffee pods and milk was well appreciated. lovely hosts. only down side was, we had to leave! highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Myself and five friends had the most wonderful stay at the beautiful Lake House. Mark was prompt with any queries and kindly let us check-in early after some of our group had travelled from far away. The house was as described and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen and appreciated the three spot-less bathrooms. The sun shone for us, so we were able to enjoy the wrap-around decked outdoor seating area and take advantage of the kayak and rowing boat. The attention to detail with the provision of sporting equipment and board games was fantastic! We enjoyed walks along the canal and to other easily accessible lakes and had a good choice of cafes, bars and restaurants. My friends all discussed returning in the future as a group and with our families. Thank you Mark for making our weekend.

A cottage of dreams! We absolutely loved our stay at Kings Cottage… the house was perfect - so beautifully done and well kitted out. Stunning garden for the children to play in and the most gorgeous picture perfect setting in Kingston Deverill. Gemma was incredibly helpful and gave us great tips on what to do and where to go in the area. We highly recommend this cottage and hope to return again soon! A big thank you…

What a lovely home! Super clean and bright. Beautiful setting right on the lake. Fun amenities such as play ground, table tennis, and tennis available on site. We had a fab weekend away with the family and was just what we needed. Walked the 9km along the canal to Cirencester and got the bus home. The only downside is the fast main road (B4696) and there are no lights along it at night for walking back from local restaurants. Obviously not the hosts fault but worth noting.

Lovely place, so peaceful and beautiful scenery. Easy to check in and out. Easy instructions to follow. Me, my partner, 2 kids and 3 dogs enjoyed the night away. Sun was shining so we could have doors open enjoying the fresh air. Highly recommend and will hopefully be visiting again!

Joe was a brilliant and friendly host. Our stay was beautiful and a breath of fresh air. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Great place to stay in a beautifully located house. Everything was as described and the house had all the amenities for a comfortable stay, only wish we were staying for longer!
