An extremely welcoming place that had many things to do and accommodating our autistic children very well! It was a shame we didn't get the chance to make s'mores! We would love to come back to this place sometime since it is so peaceful and homey! We watched older movies that we forgot about! Thanks for the DVDs!

It was exactly as Steve described. Every bit of info Steve shared with us was accurate. My son (9) and I took a 2 day trip to catch as many fish as possible. This private deep pond provided fun fishing for my son and I. We caught sun fish, blue gill, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, and a big catfish…that we learned is about 12 years old. Within about 40 minutes there are multiple locations that offer stocked and native trout. We hiked along the stream and enjoyed the panoramic scenic views. It had everything we needed. In all honesty, my wife usually does the prep so when I arrived and realized I had not brought coffee or a pot to cook in, I was pleased to find those items and more. Clean and comfy. Gerry’s place is just what I needed to disconnect. Close to some good hiking and outdoor activities. The place itself has everything you need for a short peaceful stay. Gerry himself was very welcoming and hospitable. I loved this place. I will definitely favorite to go back sometime.

We were pleasantly surprised with the proximity of the Airbnb to our destinations. It was warm, inviting, and cutely decorated with an authentic cabin-feel right outside of DC. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would love to come back.

My husband and I take a yearly trip to Lancaster for our anniversary. We were looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing where we could unplug from everyday life. This was the perfect spot. The house was adorable, very clean and comfortable. I’m nearly 5 months pregnant and had the best night of sleep I’ve gotten since getting pregnant. Juana was extremely responsive and very helpful. I needed milk and it was too late to go anywhere so she brought some right over. She left some fresh sourdough cookies and various local goodies that I absolutely inhaled. We will be making this our regular spot when we are in the area. BONUS-the sweet orange barn cat who loved scratches and attention distracted me from missing my fur babies at home.

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

Scott’s place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Having a place to stay outside of the busy city was perfect. My partner and I loved having an Airbnb versus a hotel room. We had a hotel room for our last trip to Charlottesville and it felt so cramped and stuffy. Scott’s home was very well set up and laid out. The beautiful farm animals and cute fluffy dogs were a HUGE plus!

Kathryn is a wonderful host. Great communication and attention to any question. The cozy cottage is everything advertised: clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and pet friendly! The outdoor area is great and comes with a grill! Definitely recommended.

I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchenette had everything we needed, and the small touches (like fresh coffee and local recommendations) made it feel like home. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, even checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants, shops, and attractions, but still quiet and peaceful at night. We’re already talking about coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable guest house! We had everything we needed and we found the stay to be cozy and clean. The directions we received for check in were clear and easy. We had a great weekend exploring local hikes and breweries. Would recommend this stay!

I have stayed here a couple of times while visiting my daughter at the Naval Academy. The apartment is absolutely perfect for just the two of us, and the location is great. It is a few miles to DTA, but it is an easy drive with plenty of restaurants and shopping without the congestion of DTA. Mrs. Jocelyn is a wonderful host and she is always so accommodating. I love staying here when I come to Annapolis.

This was a great place and location for our trip to Shenandoah. Brent was a great host and made us feel right at home. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and Brent was very kind to let her pet their horses. The cottage was a perfect size for our small family and there was nearby access to the Shenandoah river where you could go float, fish, or whatever water activities you like. We would definitely come back to stay at this awesome place. Thanks again to the hosts.

We had an extraordinary and very peaceful weekend at this beautiful property. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the house itself is both stylish and incredibly comfortable. Cheri and Tim are wonderful hosts—attentive, welcoming, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We truly felt at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

I enjoyed my stay at the beautiful carriage house in the Shaw neighborhood. It was a perfect spot to work from during the day — Wi-Fi was strong and there’s a cute little office nook. And it’s close to transit for exploring DC!Chris was a welcoming and friendly host, very responsive. A few things to note: the kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, fridge, and microwave. However it’s not outfitted for cooking full meals. There’s also construction happening directly outside — in my experience, from the hours of ~8am-5pm, inclusive of Saturday. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We recently booked Namastays’ place when a family member became very ill and was in the hospital. The hosts were super accommodating of our needs around seeing to the care of our hospitalized family member and their place offered a comfortable and relaxing retreat after long days spent at the hospital. It was such a blessing to have someplace like Namastays’ for us to work from. It allowed us the space to focus on what we needed to do for our family without having to worry. Super grateful the experience we had here, highly recommend these hosts and their place.

Our stay was truly home away from home - we felt safe and comfortable. We spent most of our trip in DC -an easy 15 min walk to the Metro. We would gladly stay here again.

John and Fionna were wonderful hosts! Very friendly, communicative, and when there was a small issue they took care of it right away; They are really great people. The property is stunning, especially this time of year when the trees start to flower. It is far off the main road and super private and quiet/peaceful yet close enough to everything you want. As a traveler who was moving from the other side of the country and needed a temporary landing spot to start a new job, it was the perfect place. My favorite part was listening to the chickens do chicken things in the morning. Given an opportunity, I'd stay here again.
