We had a great stay here. The location is great and less than 2 hours from DC. The house was large and cozy, with everything we needed to enjoy our quiet weekend. The restaurants and breweries in town were also a lot of fun. We fully intend to come back and visit soon!

Kristin's home was the perfect setting for a peaceful family Christmas! It was a great size for my family (11 adults and 2 kids) to stay comfortably. The kitchen is set up nicely for large groups with 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers and 2 fridges. We spent most of our time relaxing in the large dining and sitting areas as well as enjoying bird watching from the backyard (bald eagles!). Kristin is extremely responsive -- even immediately responding to and helping to fix a plumbing issue (on Christmas Eve!). Would highly recommend this place for your next summer or winter getaway!

We had such a wonderful stay for our Mother-Daughter weekend! The home was spacious, worked beautifully for the six of us! Sitting on the beautiful front porch watching the sun come up over the river was amazing! Great place for a family stay!! ❤️❤️❤️

My friends and I recently stayed at Dave's place in Grasonville, Maryland, and it was exactly what we needed for a short getaway. The house was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for our stay. The backyard, overlooking the river, was absolutely stunning and offered the perfect spot to watch the sunsets. It was peaceful and relaxing. The fact that it’s pet-friendly made it even better—our furry friends had just as much fun as we did! The hot tub was a fantastic touch, allowing our group to unwind and chat after a day of exploring. Dave was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and always went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful retreat. We’ll certainly be back!

This house was perfect for our family—wonderful location, big and beautiful outdoor space, all of the amenities our family needed during our stay. Steve is a wonderful host—kind, excellent communicator, and highly responsive. Ten out of ten experience!

Incredibly peaceful and comfortable. looking forward to returning in warmer weather and for a longer stay. We were seeking a quiet place for renewal and relaxation and the little yellow cottage met all our needs. We stocked up on local seafood from nearby Warsaw to cook, woke up with the birds for breathtaking sunrises and soaked in the amazing hot tub with an incredible view. As a bird geek in training, I had an amazing assortment to watch and enjoyed the views from the dock and the deck each day. We experienced a heavy downpour for a great deal of our stay,but a trip to town and hunkering down with our books, puzzle and more hot tub were the perfect antidote. We might share the space with friends or family next time, as there was plenty of space. However, our trio of 2 humans and our puppy pal might just escape alone again! Thanks for sharing this letter slice of heaven on the "Rivah." We'll be back!

This location was so gorgeous, it may want to buy a house on the same street! Listening to the water lap against the seawall and having 180° view of the bay from nearly every room in the house was amazing. From the fire pit to the upstairs balcony, it was just what my friends and I needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Bob and Chuck’s peaceful retreat. They are excellent hosts with outstanding communication. Their home is open, spacious, bright, and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen is a pleasurable place to prepare meals and socialize. It has everything you need, including plentiful and quality kitchenwares, to prepare delicious meals. Do not hesitate to book.

Patti was an amazing host. She made sure that we had everything we need and she went the extra mile providing toys for our toddler. The house was beautiful. Very peaceful neighbourhood and you can just walk to the beach where you can find nice restaurants and a playground. Perfect getaway for families. And the heated pool is the icing on the cake

The location was amazing with the pool and the waterfront. The grandkids loved fishing and swimming. Couple observations: The lawn service came when we were there but only mowed the lawn and did not mow around the pool. No edging or weeding was done in the landscaping Pool service came when we were there and was great Garbage pick up came and pulled all the way down the driveway which was great Bathrooms could use some love. Oven could also use some love I would recommend taking bottle water and ice if you have a large group. We made a few runs to the General Store and Safeway. All in all we would give it 5 stars. We had the most beautiful Thanksgiving gathering at Casey’s Porch on the bay for an extended family reunion. The house is lovely - spacious, gorgeous and cozy at the same time. The views on the water were amazing. There were plenty of beds and ‘hang out’ spots for our tweens and teens, and 3 private baths for the adult couples were much appreciated. And our hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to make more happy memories together!

We had a lovely Christmas here and it was a lovely neighborhood. Friendly neighbors too they helped us jump our car. Beautiful property on the water.

We had a great stay at this clean, comfortable, convenient and cozy house. We were impressed by the attention to detail. Every time we needed something, it was there. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal. We were close to Annapolis And had an easy drive to the museums of DC. We took several walks to the nearby beach, and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets. We would definitely come back! Thank you, Peggy!

This place was amazing! Beautifully updated with plenty of room for our family to stay and gather. The views of the bay were exceptional with sunsets on the water every night! Janet was a perfect host. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Stayed here to see a few friends who live in the Ebb Tide area. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. We were only two people but with the sun room it was clear to see there are a few options for people to spread out and not feel on top of each other. This is a nice peaceful area about 15 minutes away from downtown colonial beach and a great location for a getaway. I would stay here away without hesitation.

This place is AMAZING! I don't think the pictures did it justice. The house was sooooooo cool. If you love MCM style like we do, you will absolutely love this home. It was comfortably and tastefully furnished. The wall of windows when you walk through the front door provides a spectacular view, especially in the morning. The setting was so peaceful and tranquil that we didn't even want to leave the house. Our morning and afternoon routine was to walk the beach with our dog. The kitchen was stocked, and the bed was comfortable. Our host Nicholas was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend this place! In fact, we already told our family members about it. By the way, North Beach is very close, and there are lots of restaurants there to enjoy.

This was a great little beach-area cottage we stayed at for a swim meet at St. Mary's College. The house was clean and cozy. My daughter loved the bunk beds! It was a little too chilly to enjoy the porch, but the hammocks looked inviting. Host was wonderful, flexible and communicative. A great find!

We loved this snug, little spot on the water. Watching the sunrise over the water made for enjoyable mornings. It had a full kitchen that made cooking our meals very easy. Two seating areas in the living area gave us room to spread out. Fast wifi....I even stayed online while I was down by the water. I wasn't a huge fan of the overly curious swans, but I did find some really nice pieces of sea glass down by the water. The heat in this house was great.

An extraordinary place to rest & recharge. The views, the comfort of the home, and the gorgeous walking trails, through woods & beach are a perfect combination. Everything we needed & then some.

It was the perfect spot for a family gathering. The home was nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and plenty of room for 6 adults. We found ourselves spending our mornings in the front living room looking at the beautiful water view and variety of birds landing on the water (binoculars were provided). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Since it was February and part of the creek was frozen, we didn’t get to enjoy the kayaks or fire pit, but they did provide plenty of fire wood. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions and they were very nice. All around it was a place we will return.
