We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Christopher’s place! From the very start, communication was excellent - Christopher was incredibly responsive, both before and during our trip, offering thoughtful local recommendations (many within minutes of messaging!) that we ended up doing and loving. He went above and beyond to make our stay special, even leaving a lovely surprise to help us celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday. Such a thoughtful and personal touch that made us feel so welcome. The home itself is fantastic - vibrant, full of character, and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable, and it’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating a warm and memorable space. Christopher was also kind enough to offer us a later checkout when he heard I hadn’t been feeling well, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a brilliant experience and would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Chester!

We had a lovely time staying at Frog Manor. Richard was very helpful and flexible and the home and grounds were vast and beautiful. We were lucky enough to be there on a hot weekend so we spent a lot of time at the outside patio area, where there is a hot tub, outside bathroom and a great outdoor cooking space with a gas bbq, outdoor sinks and counter space. All the bedrooms were lovely and spacious, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Overall I couldn’t recommend Frog Manor more!

Jacob was communicative, and hospitable. The home was comfortable, and clean with an incredibly functional kitchen. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable accommodation.

We cannot recommend The Coach House enough. Not only were Clare and Ed excellent hosts, the cottage was pristine, well decorated and private, it made for a perfect couple’s staycation. The area was beautiful and made a peaceful environment for an evening in the hot tub. The welcome basket with essentials was very thoughtful. The highlight of our stay was when the cows came to say hello when we were sat on the bench in the garden. 10/10 would recommend and we intend to come back in the future.

Myself and five friends stayed at Tracey’s and would definitely go back. Lovely house with parking that was a 15 minute stroll to Chester town centre. Comfortable beds and good showers. Great kitchen with everything you need. Would highly recommend.

we had a fantastic stay , the cottage was in a fantastic position for walking into Chester and enjoying the surroundings area. It had such a calming ambience and had everything you needed for a very comfy stay away from home. It was extremely clean and well looked after property. We will definitely be back 😁

We booked with Lou quite late but she was very responsive, helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome with lots of personal touches (milk in the fridge, chocolates on the side) which made us feel at home especially after a long drive. The accommodation was clean and well equipped with plenty of space for five adults and although we didn’t have a dog with us Lou provided plenty of things to make dogs feel welcome too! It’s a short walk into the centre of town with lots of pubs, shops and a large Waitrose. We were also lucky enough to experience the transport festival whilst we were there. Thanks so much for welcoming us in to your home Lou and helping to make our stay so great.

We enjoyed our stay & the unit. Other than a housekeeping hitch on arrival, which was easily and promptly handled, all worked very well. GREAT location easily walkable throughout the core of Chester, near shops & restaurants. Having a spacious parking area, unlike most UK spaces, was great. We also liked having a washer & dryer as separate units, rare here. Beds were very comfortable & the unit was spacious for the two of us. Stairs are narrow & steep, but leaving our luggage downstairs was an easy solution. Having the laundry room with counter tops was great for that. The welcome treats were nice & we left some of that for our cleaners to enjoy.

Absolutely perfect apartment. Beautifully furnished and exceptionally equipped with all you need for a relaxing break. Very clean and bright. Every inch is aesthetically pleasing and lots of interesting magazines and books to relax with. With two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it is excellent value. There were so many thoughtful extras provided too. Plenty of high quality coffee, tea and other beverages. Fresh milk, bread, butter and fruit as well as cereals, spreads etc. Sue is a very lovely hostess and made sure we had a great stay. All set in a fabulous village location in the Cheshire countryside. 100% Recommend a stay here.

Absolutely lovely place to stay, very peaceful and comfortable.Bathroom especially was immaculately clean, as was the rest of the apartment, and kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed. Bed very comfy. Karen replied so quickly when we booked and was very responsive and helpful when we left a laptop behind. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Diane´s for a month, traveling from Kenya, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The unit I rented was part of the main house but had its own separate entrance, offering privacy and comfort. The beautiful lush, vast garden full of life, peaceful surroundings with horses and birds, lots of different birds, made the experience unforgettable. The location was perfect—quiet and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to Chester and lots of renown tourist destination for easy exploring. The hosts were kind and respectful, ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Hatton Hall for anyone seeking a peaceful , convenient and private countryside escape.

Abigail’s accommodation was a lovely location with easy access to the city walls and amenities in Chester city centre. Parking was a bonus. The canal basin was a lovely place to eat breakfast! Great community canal folk, dog walkers, joggers and folk taking walks. We would whole heartedly recommend and return if we ever visit Chester in the future. The milk and teabags were a lovely thought, welcome brew after long journey from Scarborough. Thankyou Abigail for your hospitality 🫶🏻

We stayed at Mark and Cathy’s place for the weekend and it was nothing short of spectacular. They greeted us upon arrival and showed us where everything we needed was. The space itself is perfect, and it has an amazing shower with great water pressure, something we appreciate and have not always been so lucky to have. They gave us great recommendations for where to go and what to do. They are a close walk to the Racecourse and other stores/restaurants. We will most certainly stay here again for our next trip to Wrexham.

Lovely and comfortable apartment, home from home, fully equipped with all amenities. The instructions provided by email were a big help, however, Suggestion: it would be invaluable to have a hard copy in the apartment too. It's only a short walk to the city, a map providing the quickest route from the apartment to the city especially for visitors not familiar with the area would also be useful.. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and making our trip to Chester so enjoyable.

Very comfortable and well-equipped apartment with lovely views over the Shropshire Union Canal. Allocated onsite parking a real bonus as we left the car and walked everywhere in central Chester. Chester is a very lively city, but the flat was quiet and peaceful, despite being only a short walk from the centre of the action. We would certainly stay here again if we visit Chester in the future. Highly recommended.

Perfect Airbnb experience. The place is even cosier than we expected from the photos and description. There is everything that may be needed, everything is prepared with great attention to detail. The kitchen is fully equipped, even dishwasher tablets are provided. We didn't have to bring anything extra other than our personal things. Jenny and Darren are incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. The fact that we could wonder about their beautiful garden was incredibly lovely. Our toddler is still over the moon from running around and interacting with their chickens and their dog. I really hope we'll have a chance to come back.
