Six Stars would be given if possible! Our stay was a a last minute trip to attend to a family emergency and honestly it was made much easier to handle staying in this lovely, cozy home. The house is really beautiful, interesting, spacious, well appointed, private and really comfy! Troy is an incredible host, a true professional, very responsive and flexible for a few requests that we had during our stay. The location is excellent also. Highly recommend staying here if you plan to explore anywhere in the Delaware Valley actually! A few other comments…the beds are high quality and very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, useful electronics like Tvs and soundbars are great to have, strong wifi, great hot water and water pressure, quality towels and linens…just top notch all around. Neighborhood is walkable and very very safe with some neat shops and restaurants very close by, Convenient off street parking and access to highway is quick. Thank you Troy!!

As return guests, we always choose Lana’s home. Lana is an excellent host. House is welcoming and comfortable. Set up is perfect for us. Close to everything we need. Recent renovations are lovely as well. Lana has so many at-home amenities; it’s very special ( tissues, coffee pods, creamer/sugar) lots of charming touches throughout. It is expensive but it’s hard to find a place that’s perfect, and Lana’s place is that for us:)

This little getaway was exactly what we were looking for! The house is absolutely gorgeous, even if a little close to a main road. Rachael was the most proactive and responsive host we've ever had, so everything was a total breeze.

This home is unique in every way, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The home has immense character and we loved exploring it and finding all of its quirks and special features. We really enjoyed the experience of staying in such a unique and historical location. Due to temperatures (winter time stay) we did not explore the outdoors, but the home was comfortable and clean with space for our large family.

Beautiful home. Christopher and Claudia were great hosts. They gave me plenty of recommendations around the area for to get familiar with. The house was set up beautifully especially when I walked inside and was greeted with an intimate setting with slow jazz music and dim lighting (I was on a romantic get away). 10/10 would book again!

We had a wonderful stay. The House was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! We felt right at home. The kitchen was stocked with just the right things and everything was easy to find. We could have easily cooked all of our meals here. The home was tastefully decorated, and I didn't feel as though we were missing anything. A great place to relax. The entire house was spotless! Only thing to be made aware of - it is right on a busy road so if you aren't used to the sound of traffic it might be a bit loud at first, but it quickly turns to background noise and is easy to tune out. The back yard and house still felt very private.

I came to PA for a new job. I enjoyed my stay with Rose. Rose was very responsive and kind. Very attentive. The unit was private. The space was extremely clean. The bathroom and kitchen were extra clean. Good size fridge for food/snacks. I appreciated being able to use the laundry room that was located conveniently by the kitchen. She thought of the little things. Plenty of toilet paper and toiletries. There was an ability to control the temperature in each room. All instructions were well written. Provided recommendations for the area. Strong Wi-Fi. I love the neighborhood which was quiet. I was close to the places I needed to go to. I wish I could stay there for a few months, until I find a permanent place to stay. I had not issues at all during my stay. I highly recommend this listing and will return.

We had never worked with a lock like is on the door. It took us a bit to understand the process and “ wake it up” once that was done, it was simple. Just firmly touch the round disc on the door, and the numbers will become apparent. It is a great place for cold weather as there is a gas “woodstove” which makes it very cozy. The bedroom and bath have electric heaters that kept them sufficiently warmed for our comfort. There is some road noise from 322 but being down back and in the basement helped. We were awake already when we heard the children’s footsteps upstairs, so that did not disrupt us. The recliner chair is very comfortable and the firm bed was very comfort as well. One could get out of the bed without any motion to a sleeping partner. Great choice. Nice outdoor space although in Feb it was too cold to enjoy.

We came back to PA for Christmas and stayed here for 5 days. Added bonus, we had a dusting of snow which made it all the more inviting. We are from this area, and found the location to be central to visit all our relatives. Rose Valley itself is a very cool area, and this apartement, which is part of a storied estate, sat high on a hill in quiet setting. We, and our dog, felt right at home here and enjoyed our stay. Aaron was very responsive to any questions we had, and made sure we had everything we needed. He was a great host. We would definitley come back and stay when in the area.

Randall and Wilma were phenomenal hosts. They greeted us and welcomed us when we arrived. Wilma chatted with us and made us feel special. The house was perfect for our needs. We travel frequently to the Lancaster area and their home is perfectly situated for what we love to do. Our original plan was to attend a mud sale. We went on Friday night for the preview and did not see anything that jumped out for attention. So we went with plan B, which was antiquing, shopping and relaxing. This was the ideal location for us. We got to unwind, rest and just enjoy ourselves. Wilma's goodies which she left for us made it even better. The positive Christian atmosphere made it feel like home. Our only disappointment was that we had not discovered this gem earlier. We would definitely Love to stay here again and again.

The place was so beautiful and cozy! So clean and felt really at home there. Torri was an amazing host and would definitely rent there again!

My stay at Lukies Red Door Retreat was so relaxing and accommodating. The atmosphere was spa like with a water feature, pink Himalayan salt lamps and a gas fireplace. The large backyard was perfect for my 2 dogs. The host was very responsive and even let me do a late check out without an extra charge. Will stay here again.

There were three of us that stayed at this lovely Airbnb. This place was immaculate. Farm fresh eggs, fresh milk, homemade jam, bread along with butter was a delight! Kitchen is stocked with various coffees for a Keurig; coffee pot in cupboard, sweeteners & honey. Entry easy with a code to a stairwell. At the top of the landing, there are three doors. The left door is the smaller room with its own shower stall and bathroom, middle door is locked, right door is the main unit with the living/kitchen area and Jacuzzi bedroom. No TV but that didn’t bother us. There are thermostats to control the heat and AC. The beds were comfortable; shower pressure & water temps good. Surroundings quiet. The rooster will crow in the morning, but I was up before him anyway; he did not wake the others. Tastefully decorated for the holidays. Hosts were easy to communicate with and responded promptly. A delightful Airbnb and I would highly recommend it!

Our stay at Susan’s cabin was absolutely perfect! The cabin was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. It was the ideal retreat for two, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. One of the sweetest surprises was the delicious homemade muffins waiting for us when we arrived—such a warm and welcoming gesture! Susan was an incredible host—responsive, kind, and truly went above and beyond. When we were leaving, our car wouldn’t start, and she and her husband came right away to help us. Their kindness and willingness to assist made a stressful situation so much easier, and we’re so grateful. The only small thing was that the WiFi was a bit slow, but honestly, it didn’t impact our stay at all. If anything, it just encouraged us to unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings even more.

Mendel’s place was amazing. The cabin is very spacious, gorgeous and very cozy. We loved the fact that it each bedroom (on each floor) has its own bathroom. Mendel was very responsive, attentive, an awesome host. The arcade game room was a nice touch for the kids. You will have everything you are looking for here. We will definitely be back.

Great cabin to get out in the country, felt right at home. super clean and spacious

Donny's and Michelle's cabin was absolutely wonderful for a peaceful moms getaway. Everything in the cabin was so welcoming, we all felt right at home. I appreciated Michelle checking in after we arrived, and the cookies that she left were a sweet and delicious surprise. The bedrooms were beautiful with comfortable beds, pillows, and linens. We all appreciated the very clean bathrooms and ample towels. The kitchen was stocked with all the housewares needed for us to cook food. It was a great long weekend. Each one of us said we would book again and even want to book individual family vacations because we know our kids would love the spacious property and private creek.

This place was such a great find. The location was quaint and peaceful with beautiful views. It was conveniently close to local gas stations and grocery stores. My family had such an amazing time would most definitely recommend to stay here .

A wonderful and relaxing time with the husband and furbaby. And tge Antique shopping,Flea markets an food was amazing. The host was super friendly and very responsive to all our questions. Thank you so much for sharing yalls place with us.

We booked this cozy cabin as a Mom’s getaway weekend. The cabin was so beautifully decorated and so clean! We relaxed and read for days. When we got tired of reading we’d venture out to the near by towns. Definitely going to be an annual tradition!

This place was amazing. David and his family were very welcoming and went over the top to make sure we were comfortable. He met us at the house to check in and quickly walked us through all the parts of the home and answered any questions we had. As for the home itself and the surrounding area, it was just as nice if not better than the pictures. Very private but still close enough to enjoy local restaurants. The host definitely put a lot of thought into making it stress free for guests. I give it a 10/10 and we will be coming back.
