Booked this for our guys who were working in Newcastle for the week. The guys loved the location and the facilities that gave them things to do at night. They have asked me to book it for the following week they liked it that much.

We absolutely loved our stay, we could have moved in we were all so comfortable! Every cupboard held a surprise be it dry goods or games to play, everything has been though of. The 2 dogs had an absolute ball in the garden and we got some amazing star gazing done from the hot tub. The welcome gift went above and beyond anything we've experienced in other accommodation we've stayed in. We highly recommend The Chase, for a comfortable family get away or a weekend retreat, we will be back despite how close it is to home, it feels a million miles away :0)

We stayed here for a family get together, there was 16 of us, but it felt like there was plenty of space and lots to do in the house. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfy and the hot tub was lovely after a day of walking. Highly recommend!

We all loved our stay at this lovely farm house over New Year. The house was spacious clean and well equipped for everything we needed. Elizabeth and Tom were very quick to respond to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The outside area was just perfect and we would love to come back to enjoy the outdoor area more in the summer. Such a lovely house, perfect kitchen for hosting small groups and in a good location!

What a fantastic property and location We booked for my husbands 70 th for a the family. ( 11 in total) The kitchen was impressive with enough crockery, pans etc to cook the birthday gourmet evening meal and to seat us around a splendid dining table The children had a ball exploring all the rooms and playing hide and seek. Their bathtime was luxurious with bubbles in the roll top bath looking out over the valley Family games around the fire were a delight. The local walks pointed out by Catherine were child friendly ,although the steps on top of the wall on the river walk were a bit precarious for winter days We all enjoyed looking at the alpacas and angora goats The local pub catered for our large group for Sunday lunch. The Yorkshire puddings are enormous!! All in all a wonderful weekend. The accommodation and location were splendid. Thank you

We had a lovely stay in beautiful Wolsingham, and Alexandra was a responsive host. A great shared space for adults and children.

Beautiful setting and cosy cottage. Loved the log burning stove. Andrew was very helpful and allowed us to check in an hour early. He gave us his mobile number for any possible requests we had. It was very spacious and well equipped ( although we would have liked a few cleaning products available to clean the bathroom and kitchen after use 🙈) Everything else you need is provided. We had amazing weather for January and were even able to sit outside in the little walled garden with our morning cuppa.

Absolutely fantastic host, very responsive to our messages and was very flexible to accommodate our very late check in. Very understanding as we booked under difficult circumstances. Lovely spacious house and in immaculate condition.

We recently stayed at the Old School House and had a wonderful experience. The building’s rich history and unique character made it a truly memorable stay. The peaceful, rural setting allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings. It was the perfect spot for a restful break, with plenty of charm and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would definitely recommend the Old School House for anyone looking to escape and unwind in a tranquil, beautiful setting.

We had an amazing stay in Great Ayton. We loved listening to the water and lambs in the evening, it is a beautiful place and village was very friendly and amazing stores! Thank you for sharing your home away from home so we could attend a wedding at the Howard Court. It was very spacious for our family and grandchildren!!

Ami's home is beautifully kept and easy to feel at home in. Double drive parking was a dream and Ami's fast communication made our stay seamless. Thank you so much for letting us stay, we will definitely be re-booking!

We had a great stay, in a clean, spacious, up to date caravan, was very quiet, as the caravan site isn't open till the middle of March. That was not a problem we made our own entertainment with the cards and games provided, I would stay there again and would recommend it to my family and friends. we have used Air BnB several times and have never had a bad encounter, Lisa kept me updated and was prompt in replying to messages I sent. Thank you from my family and myself.

We had an amazing time staying at Silton Hall. It was a gathering of old friends, their kids and dogs and the house suited this perfectly. Pros: - Rooms were beautiful& clean & there was plenty of space for different families to have their own spaces and lots of loos and showers. - garden had stunning views - pool was bigger than we thought, and perfect temp. - Kitchen was stocked better than expected Cons: - sheep loose in the garden on arrival and had three dogs with us - couldn’t make use of the great garden, in case of an incident. Property management took a while to respond and did not send anyone to help. instead, they suggested we put dogs on leads… - heating was off on arrival and took a while to heat up. No curtains on the single glazed front door. Would recommend they put heating on for arrival and get some curtains for the doors. - no kindling and limited fire wood which we needed as the house was so cold - only a couple of loo rolls provided
