The home was perfectly stocked with towels, clean linen, and even water bottles. The beds were comfortable, plenty of room for our group. The place was clean and organized. We only stayed for a night as a pit stop on our travels, but there was a lovely sitting porch and back garden area, and also games and toys inside.

best airbnb experience in a while and we stay airbnb a lot. everything was as described or better. only thing I would change is the clutter. there is honestly too much of everything. too many kitchen supplies, too many towels and sheets. made using cabinet space/dressers difficult for a longer stay. otherwise, so easy, thoughtful, quiet, pleasant, and extremely comfortable. definitely pet friendly. there was some dog hair on the couch and some cat scratches on the upholstery, but since we were traveling with a dog and two cats, those details honestly just put us more at ease and the couch was an easy vacuum. would absolutely book again if in the area traveling with pets. Just steps from the beautiful Maymont Park, which we visited several times during our stay. very comfy furniture. very responsive hosts. washer and dryer are well stocked (even though we brought our own soap, etc.) tons of great delivery options. quiet neighbors. really a gem.

We had another very pleasant stay - this is one of our favorite locations and Alex is an excellent host. One thing I really appreciate is the flexibility with schedule changes and refunds. Due to icy travel conditions, we had to postpone our arrival by one day and received a refund even though it was reqursted just the day before. This is the sort of service you'd expect from a hotel, but staying at this home is so much more comfortable (like being able to lounge on the couch to watch TV) and convenient (full kitchen and parking right outside the door.) Plus, the large dining table is great for spreading out if you have work to do. We look forward to our next stay!

Our family needed a temporary home on short notice due to some damage to our home and Kay was incredible from start to finish - understanding, flexible and responsive. The home is beautiful - with an almost ski lodge feel, tastefully decorated, and cozy but spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. The location is quiet, private, wooded and peaceful. We could not have appreciated Kay as a host more and loved the home! Thank you!!!

The house is very clean and neat with comfortable accommodations for seven of us. Extra amenities and touches were so nice to have. The girls loved having blankets to use other than the bed linens. The location was perfect for our needs in downtown Richmond. Off-street parking was great. The host let us adjust our stay dates. Even though we left the house clean and sorted, check-out was very nice not having to complete a laundry list of items before leaving early in the morning. We would recommend the host and house and definitely would stay with her and in this house again if heading to downtown Richmond.

My group had an incredible stay. Alyson really goes above and beyond as a host! Everything was perfectly described. She is very responsive. The scenery in person is even better than the pictures! The location is perfect. It is a private scenery feeling but a close drive to all around and so much to do within the vicinity. Thank you for an awesome time!

This was a perfect spot for us being in town for an event at the convention center. Loved it!

Our family has stayed at 11 Air BB's during the Christmas time in the past 12 years and this was by far the best one. We had alot of fun. It had many ingredients for cooking. We didn't use them but they were available. And so nice to have hair dryers in all the bathrooms. Thank you Catherine for everything

Host was extremely friendly, very very helpful, place was adorable! Kitchen was very well stocked, host even left some breakfast foods for us so that we didn't have to run out first thing in the morning.

Perfect place for our stay in RVA (2 couples and 2 dogs). Surprisingly big, very comfy, and easy 5 min drive to downtown Richmond. The fenced yard was a game-changer for the dogs - it made the trip for us. Highly recommended and would stay again

This little apartment is perfect for two people. Neat and clean! The thoughtful touches (bread, croissants, fruit, drinks) were greatly appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay at Catherine’s place! Such an adorable and charming place with beautiful mood lighting and artwork everywhere. The beds were incredibly comfortable and it was toasty and cozy in the space despite whenever it was chilly outside. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The location is close to everything we wanted to do and the nearby restaurants are amazing. Her sweet little dog River was a bonus to get to meet. Overall such a delightful experience and we definitely hope to return!

Super cute, comfy apartment. Location was great, walkable to lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Neighborhood is quiet and nice to walk around. Bryson is an awesome host, great communication, very responsive. Will definitely rent again if I'm in the area.

Thanks again to our hosts! Great space near plenty of great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to grocery stores as well. Easy parking, so you can leave the car for your entire stay and just walk to your desired destination. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Richmond!

Very cute spot! There is not a lock on the main part of the building, which I found odd. But maybe Richmond is just really safe! The locks on the inside work well.

I'd highly recommend Chandra's place if you plan to visit Richmond. Lovely, spacious space with very cool art. Primo location with convenient street parking that is walkable to many great restaurants, shops, and venues. She's a great host and we had enjoyed our stay very much.

Place was great! My friends and I enjoyed our stay and the 4 of us were able to work from the kitchen table for a day. Very walkable to local coffee shops and cafes. Grocery store 5-10 minutes away by car. I'll let it be known that communication with host was automated and felt a little corporate-y but I was able to quickly get in touch directly with Mei when needed.
