This was one of the most beautiful Air BnB’s I have ever stayed in, hands down (and I’ve stayed in a few!). From the design touches throughout this repurposed wine cellar to the spectacular scenery to the multiple terraces to soak in the views of Profitis Ilias and Pyrgos to the right and behind, the sea in front, the donkeys next door, the sweet kitties that come and go… I can’t recommend it highly enough. Comfy bed, deliciously hot shower with good water pressure, beautiful kitchen, tons of living space both inside and out. It’s in the middle of the island, so no point is too far away. My one caveat is that this place would be inconvenient to come and go from without your own transportation (e.g. rental car). Can recommend two good and nearby tavernas that were open in the off-season: The Chatiri at Kostas in Episkopi Gonias and Ta postalia tou Aigaiou. In season, I hear Metaxi Mas in Exo Gonias, The Old Barber Shop in Emporio and Lefkes in Finikia are fantastic. Have the best time!

Daniele’s place was incredible that it exceeded our expectations with how spacious and how it is beautifully furnished. Not to mention that Daniele was very accommodating with helping us find the Airbnb.

El alojamiento es hermoso y la ubicación es muy buena para nosotros que buscábamos tranquilidad. La vista desde afuera es increíble, hacia los dos lados de la isla. se pude disfrutar del amanecer y el atardecer sobre el mar. Nuestros anfitriones estuvieron. pendientes desde nuestra llegada, hasta que nos fuimos, siempre con gestos de gran amabilidad. La recepción con vino y algo para picar fue ideal después de un viaje largo en barco. la casa tiene detalles hermosos para ir descubriendo durante la estadía. Sin dudarlo, volveríamos a alojarnos aquí. Gracias por todo.

The place is beautiful, we were here for 2 nights. Close proximity to Oia and Ammoudi Bay definitely helped. We could see the sunset right from home and the community pool at Oia Sunset villas was available for use for this apartment. The check in process was communicated well and Avgi did help us with a late checkout as our flight was a bit later in the day. Extremely happy with the place and will surely recommend.

Geweldig uitzicht op de zee en ondergaande zon. Je loopt vanaf het terras zo naar beneden om even te zwemmen of snorkelen in de zee. Ook staan er strandbedjes om op te liggen. Ik ben kitesurfer en in de verte zie je de kitelocatie. Als de wind goed is zie je dan ook de vliegers de lucht in gaan. Kostas is super vriendelijk, één van de beste hosts die wij hebben meegemaakt.

The terrace was amazing, with a breathtaking view. The jacuzzi was wonderful too 🙂 The apartment was comfy, very clean with everything you need available. & Takis, our host, was wonderful: great recommendations, so nice, he made sure we had everything we needed, helped us book a car for the week, brought us water packs… Overall perfect, thank you so much Takis!

Séjour parfait dans la maison d'Apostolos. D'une part elle est idéalement située, toujours à 15-25mn des lieux à visiter, à découvrir (villages, plages, restaurants) ou des lieux pratiques (supermarché, boutiques, pharmacie,...) ce qui en fait un emplacement génial sur une île relativement grande dans les cyclades. Les photos ne rendent pas hommage, la maison est mieux en vrai ainsi que le jardin. tout est fait avec goût, cela se voit, c'est harmonieux et bien pensé. La communication avec Appstolos a été excellente, il a été de très bons conseils pour parfaire notre séjour (recommandations restaurants et tavernes ainsi que plage) et d'une flexibilité irréprochable pour le check in et check out. Tout était très fluide et agréable. Un grand merci. Je propose quelques recommandations pour améliorer le séjour : mettre des torchons dans la cuisine, ajouter des oreillers dans les chambres ou remplacer ceux existants par de plus confortables et mettre un micro-ondes pour les familles :).

Οι διακοπές μας δεν θα ήταν οι ίδιες χωρίς την διαμονή μας στο συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα! Το σπίτι ήταν πανέμορφο, πεντακάθαρο, εξοπλισμένο με όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Ο τέλειος τρόπος για να ξεκινάει η κάθε μας μέρα σε αυτό το νησί καθώς έχει απίστευτη θέα και ηρεμία και υπέροχο ηλιοβασίλεμα. Δεν υπάρχει φωτορύπανση οπότε τα βράδυα το θέαμα των αστεριών ήταν πολύ όμορφο. Αν και γενικά στο νησί μπορεί να φυσάει αρκετά καποιες μέρες η βεράντα ήταν τοποθετημένη έτσι ώστε να κόβει ο αέρας. Μας άρεσε πολύ η τοποθεσία, βρίσκεται στην καλύτερη μεριά του νησιού και πολύ κοντά σε όλα. Η κ.Εύα και ο σύζυγός της ήταν πολύ ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί σε ό,τι ζητήσαμε και πάντα πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν. Συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα αυτό το κατάλυμα και ελπίζουμε να επιστρέψουμε ξανά.

Un séjour impeccable dans un airbnb incroyable, maria est une hôte superbe ! Elle est venu nous chercher gratuitement au port et nous a digiré vers une place pour louer un quatre roue et nous a suivi avec nos sacs! Elle offre egalement le retour au port gratuitement. 10/10

Worth staying here for the view (and what a view) alone. There are some amazing sunset views in the Cyclades, the view from Alma (the pool, your private terrace) is up there with the best. You'll stay in one of three suites, private bungalows with their own spacious outdoor areas, to eat or sunbathe, watch the sunset or spot shooting stars when the lights go out. The place is kept spotlessly clean, has tasteful decor,well equipped and high spec. The pool is just for guests of the three suites during the day, when we were there it was more or less just us most of the time. At 6pm it converts to a sunset bar (you can still use it). The bar has a chilled vibe, more Cafe del Mar than Space and your space still feels private during bar hours. Staying with youngish kids it was a bonus to pop and get cocktails in the evening. Hosts are friendly, helpful and responsive. Good location, right on the Chora and walkable to a couple of beaches. If you ever want to leave the pool!

Wow what a stunning place!! Absolutely beautiful location and spotlessly clean. Fantastic suite and brilliant facilities. 5 minute walk to the town of Chora for restaurants and shops. Debora and Peter were very friendly and hospitable too. Only a short taxi from the port. Very much recommended!

Notre séjour a été parfait! L’hôte est très accueillant et réactif, il nous a arrangé le taxi pour arrivé à l’airbnb et a répondu à toutes nos questions. L’appartement est très beau, dans un cadre magnifique et il correspond parfaitement à l’annonce. Nous recommandons fortement !

Hugh’s place was my favorite in all of Greece. The personal pool overlooking the beach was my favorite part of this place. My wife and I booked for our honeymoon and had the best experience. Hugh is an amazing host and was so helpful with everything to know about IOS and to make it a great trip. Thank you again!

Very nice, hospitable host

We spent 3 nights here! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was nice and clean, and basic. Lovely location too, close to the beach/bars/restaurants and so easy to get the bus into town and the port.

Σας παρακαλώ εμπιστευτείτε μας και μείνετε σε αυτό το υπέροχο καινουργιο και καθαρό σπίτι. Έχει τα πάντα όσα χρειάζεται ένα σπίτι για να σας κάνει να περάσετε υπέροχες διακοπές. Όλα καινούργια και πεντακάθαρα. Οι οικοδεσπότες του Ο Επαμεινώνδας και οι γονείς του θα σας κάνουν να νοιώσετε σαν στο σπίτι σας. Υπέροχοι και καλοσυνάτοι άνθρωποι έτοιμοι να σας βοηθήσουν σε ότι χρειάζεστε. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα. Ανυπομονούμε για το επόμενο καλοκαίρι να βρεθούμε και πάλι εκει. Υ.Γ. Excellent séjour je recommande à 100% ! Super accueil, l’hôte nous a guidé jusqu’à la villa et nous a recommandé de superbes adresses ! Terrasse sublime donnant sur un coucher de soleil unique chaque soir, parfait pour les apéros. Salle de bain chambre et cuisine totalement alignés avec les photos ! Environnement très calme et vraiment bien placé, proche de tout en voiture ! Merci pour ce beau séjour sur l’île d’Ios !

Great location less than 5 minute walk to beach and multiple nice restaurants and bars. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate soufflé at delfini. Lovely hosts, welcomed us with a smile. Clean apartment with great air con.

Eleni’s house is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful and safe place in a walking distance from the action, market, restaurant, bar, beach. Clean and well equipped. Eleni is the perfect host, just a message away to attend to any question. I would definitely book it again. Thank you Eleni!

Una casa stupenda, con una vista unica sul mare di Ios. Ogni angolo della casa e’curato con eleganza, pulito alla perfezione, arredato con estremo gusto e lo spazio esterno e’ stato creato per integrarsi e valorizzare il magnifico paesaggio intorno. Non dimenticheremo mai le cene sul terrazzo, con la magia della luna. Iakovos e sua moglie Thei, sono stati degli host gentili e premurosi, ci hanno consigliato dove andare e si sono sempre assicurati che avessimo tutto quello che ci serviva.. speriamo un giorno di tornare a trovarli!

These two felt like I was back home, with the help they provided me throughout my stay in ios! The room was nicely sized and very clean throughout the whole trip, location was spectacular. Will 100% be coming back to ios and staying with them again.
