Fantastic property. Even better than photos. The pool and outside area was amazing. Every amenity you could think of was there. Added touch of a Christmas tree and a present under it for our the little girl in our group. Would highly recommend.

5 Stars - Exceptional Extended Family Getaway! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property — it was everything we hoped for and more! The setting was peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it perfect for a relaxing family retreat. Our children especially loved interacting with the friendly farm animals — feeding them was a highlight of their day! The outdoor BBQ area was a great spot for family dinners, and the hot tub and sauna were such a treat for the adults to unwind after a day of exploring. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, with great attention to detail that made our stay feel special. Everything was spotless, well-equipped, and designed for comfort. Highly recommend this place for families looking to experience nature with a touch of luxury. We’d definitely love to return!

We stayed 2 nights and the weather was awful. However, the open fires were great and the marshmallows to today on fire were yummy. the The house is old and floor creaks and has quirks but it is all part of the character of an old home. The heat pump and fires warmed the home especially the fire in bedroom. The extra personal touches like eggs and bath salts are nice. We had our dog and she was catered for also. Great price considering . Thanks Julia

Tom and Kat were amazing hosts! Great communication plus our arrival was seamless. Their property/house was absolutely stunning and was perfect for our stay. If we are ever in Christchurch again we will be staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Bach in Duvauchelle. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Maree was a very responsive host and described the house perfectly. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather for our stay and due to the location we enjoyed some country walks and returned to a lovely, warm house. We would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to stay again ourselves.

What a beautiful home in a unique location. Our three generations gathered from three countries for a lovely 5 days together in Christchurch. The views from all levels of this home are over the top. With high end cookware, two dishwashers and (my personal favorite and usual airbnb pet peeve) sharp knives, we grilled and gathered for “dinners in” every night instead of going out. Great access to governors bay pier and coffee/pizza just a short walk away. Loved this place so much and would return in a heartbeat.

Tracy was very accomodating allowing for us to store our bags at the prior check in and for longer after check out because of our flight times. We were attending for a festival and the house was as described and was perfect for our needs. We used the scooters to get around everywhere and was a short scooter to the CBD.

Brie's place is seriously a gem. Waking up opening the door overlooking the balcony to the backyard farm was quite spectacular for a city guy. Everything is clean and perfect. The design of the interior makes it feel like home. I find that just by looking both outside and inside the house, brings a certain calm and peace. This is the where the value lies. It's also just the right distance to go to town (by car). And the apples in front, is really sweet and fragrant, almost like a perfume. We took one and ate it, it was amazing. I wish I knew it sooner so that it can be our breakfast (if allowed by Brie, ofc). To put it simply, it's the best blend of nature and modern. Seamless transition between inside and outside. This is one of the best place I've ever stayed on.
