The Lavender Cottage was a beautiful private property with everything one might need or want. We loved the coziness and the outdoor deck. The location was great for visiting Akaroa. Would highly recommend their lovely coo! Thank you so much!

Had a Lovely few days at Peter & Robyn's unit..was greeted by Peter who was welcoming & gracious. The unit was very clean, spacious modern & well equipped with some nice touches including a washing machine & chocolate. Our unit was secure with an electric gate & a cute fluffy dog. Amenities within walking distance & had a stylish bar & eatery Coasters 5 mins around the corner that served great food & drinks. Highly recommend & hope to return. Lovely friendly hosts

Sue & Greg's place was so relaxing after a long day of driving in the rain. The bed in the enclosed bedroom was so comfortable. We were grateful for food when we arrived and the homemade quiche, muffins, and rhubarb for breakfast. Breakfast also included toast, granola, yogurt, cereal, milk, fruit, tea, and coffee. I wish we could bring our kids and grandkids and swim/hot tub.

Great venue! Gayle was very welcoming and communicative. We appreciated her assistance sorting a wee issue out before we arrived. We would definitely stay again.

Dave was a very helpful host and the place was exactly as described and located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac. There are two natural areas close by, plus the river. Palms mall with a grocery store was 25 min walk. If you don't like walking or don't have a vehicle perhaps not right for you, but I loved getting my steps in through the parks and taking the bus. Would absolutely stay again.

Absolutely stunning location with the most amazing views. Easy to get into town for doing touristy things, eating and drinking. Good walking tracks too. Jozefa is very friendly and helpful and Nick the dog greets you when you arrive and leave too!! I recommend staying in this cosy flat 100%.

10min drive to airport. Compact use of space, had everything that we needed. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom and coffee amenities. Thanks so much!

This was the perfect spot for me on a solo trip out of Auckland for Matariki weekend! The property is on the outskirts of Christchurch but near enough to drive in for shopping, food, activities, etc. They have a lovely dog (Kip), and the airbnb itself was very clean and tidy. The heat pump and light was left on for my arrival late on Saturday night which was so appreciated as it was cold and dark. Really cute little spot and very private despite being on the host property. Definitely recommend for a solo or couple!

This was a great place to stay, clean, warm, well appointed. The host, Samantha, was a pleasure to deal with. She sent detailed and clear instructions and great information about the local area. Everything about the experience was top notch.

Sandra and Daryn were so amazing! We were traveling for 24hrs to get to New Zealand and came in way before our check in, I had told them a week back to see if we could check in early and unfortunately someone was going to be checking out the day we were checking in so they couldn’t make any promises, but the day of they messaged us as soon as they got the place clean! We were able to check in 2 hours early and it was such a huge help! Any questions we had they answered right away. Also the actually stay was incredible! The views from the house were way nicer than we expected! 10/10 experience for sure!

Loved my couple of nights at Mike’s place. Very well set up, peaceful and pristine in a very safe and quiet location. Really appreciated the little things provided so I didn’t have to traipse to shops for milk and cereal etc. I would definitely recommend his place for a stay in Christchurch. Would also recommend a trip to Sumner… I caught the public bus and had a stroll along the beach and up the Flowers Track.

Comfortable, country feel & convenient to Rolleston. Great value too.

It was great! Perfect for 2 people and we had everything we needed for 1 night. Romantic for a night away with the partner and it feels private enough without actually being too far from their main house, we felt safe and secure.

I had a multi week stay and it was very comfortable with a full kitchen, the place is very cool, and so are the hosts! highly recommend.

Fabulous spot to stay, you can walk to the local galley and best food cafe and local store. We arrived in a raging storm and pelting rain. Access to the Eco Cottage was terrific as has a covered porch. All modern amenities this self contained cottage complete with heated toilet seat, heat pump and wood log fire was perfect. Surprisingly private with a garden aspect and plenty of glass to admire the view. We were not going out into the storm again that night. We are so thankful to Richard for the fresh farm eggs, a bottle of wine, milk tea and coffee and Scottish fudge which was already there in the well appointed kitchen. We set about making scrambled eggs on our Turkish bread toast with fresh tomatoes and camembert cheese and watched a movie on Netflix with a roaring fire. Big thumbs up Richard from Lou & Howard

This place was a perfect stop over from the airport. Comfortable, clean and easy to get to. For late night check in, I recommended getting an uber from the airport, the taxi drivers do not like the short distance.

This was one of our favourite stays on our ten day road trip around the South Island! We arrived and were immediately impressed with the thoughtfulness and lovely presentation of the place. It felt very private despite being right next to the main residence. It was warm, comfortable and very tidy. Unfortunately we had to leave early the next morning to get on the road so couldn’t make the most of the surrounding area but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The cottages here are great! I stayed for one night when my travel plans changed last minute and it was a great way to get a private room and good amenities for a great price. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Farm view was lovely, and the jacuzzi was the perfect spot to unwind at any hour. Anjela and her husband went out of their way to make us feel at home—thoughtful touches, friendly conversation, and top‑notch hospitality throughout. Highly recommended for anyone seeking relaxation and great hosts!

Beautiful gardens surround the clean, modern design of the retreat, a very comfortable, well appointed and equiped home. We hoped for this but Ulrike's care and thoughtfulness exceeded any expectations and made our stay memorable.

Loved the quiet oasis in this backyard retreat. The room was bright and the bed comfortable. Thanks for such a great selection of pillows from firm to soft so we both found just what we liked. Breakfast was great with the fresh jams and coffee and such great conversation. So many useful suggestions! Of course the best was having a massage just two doors down! Definitely recommend this home!

Great place for short or long stays. Leah was a lovely and attentive host. The garden is beautiful in summer so it was lovely to just relax in our little oasis. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again Leah!

Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr ruhig, aber doch nahe am Stadtzentrum und auch nah in Richtung Taylors Mistake. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Bett steht in einem sehr geräumigen Wohnzimmer mit Ausgang zum Garten. Küche und Dusche haben prima funktioniert. Das Esszimmer ist auch geräumig und hat einen großen Tisch. Der Kontakt mit Andrew und Sue war völlig problemlos. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne jedem!

Staying at Hiroshi and Kayori’s guesthouse for four nights was a great experience. The space was clean, well-organized, and provided all the essentials one would expect from quality accommodation. The nights were quiet, and the location was convenient—close to both the university and the airport. Hiroshi and Kayori were polite and thoughtful hosts, checking in on our needs several times during the stay. Their lovely spoodle, Pongo, was also friendly and playful. We came to Christchurch for my graduation ceremony, and the stay added joy to our time here. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Christchurch.
