We had a great stay at the Oak Cabin! Everything we needed was within easy distance and the place was really well stocked with all the necessities. The hosts were super helpful and gave clear directions to help us out. We are already planning our next trip back!

Sara & Mark are communicative and friendly. 5* Hosts. Check in was quick and easy with no faff. The location was easy to find and had good parking. I have a large estate car and had no issues parking it. Sara included what3words for directions which I wish more hosts would do! We enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful, quiet, secluded and beautiful views. Will stay here again if we visit this part of the UK again. No downsides, all good and just as the description said it would be. :-) Happy guests!

Honestly I can’t fault my stay at this location. Upon arrival the heating was on and the hot tub and fans were ready to use which was a nice surprise. The set up was amazing and the sauna was a really nice touch. We brought our dog with us and was worried about him wondering off. However our outside decking area is closed off so we could chill and not worry about him wondering outside by himself. The gentleman who tested the hot tub every day - was amazing. He recommended some local walks to do with the dog and even gave him a treat and scratches every morning.  The only thing I would say is - there are a lot of flies ( I mean ALOT) the host is aware and has fans over the hot tub to get rid of them. But honestly it wasn’t that bothersome - however we went the end of March. So think it would be worse in the summer time. But don’t let this deter you from going it’s honestly such a nice place. It’s about 15 mins away from the town - so easy drive and there is a market every week

What a lovely peaceful place! We stayed for a few days and felt like time slowed down. The house had everything we needed. We had a really relaxing time and very much enjoyed the hot tub. We had great food from a few places very close by as well. Thank you Ruth and Dean :))

A tranquil spot in the Shropshire hills to exhale and watch the ducks. The hot tub was a perfect temperature and an enjoyable experience. Very clean modern interior. The road surface on approach is not great so just go slowly.

This was my first time using Air BnB and it couldn’t have gone any better. Palma was very lovely and very happy to chat and answer any questions i might have. The lodges were good, spacious and nicely spread out from the other lodges. The outside hot tub even had a private wood structure above and around it which was very ideal! I think i saw another review on here saying Pamela put on the heating before they arrived. This is true. Was so nice and toasty when we got in. I went up with my girlfriend for valentines (she loves horses) and Pamela even set up heart shaped chocolates on the bed which was a nice touch. The horse riding was fun. Was a first time for me but everyone in the horse riding stables were really welcoming and I’m sure the missus had a fun time watching me get on and off the horse😅. Ultimately, I highly recommend, even if horses aren’t for you. Everything else was so good and couldn’t have asked for more from Pamela. Hopefully, we will be back soon.

We had such a lovely weekend, the snug was so cosy and perfect for a girls weekend. We had a fire in the fire pit under the oak trees at sunset both nights and then lit the log burner inside and made dinner for a lovely cosy evening. The location is great for heading into Shrewsbury - less than 20 minutes drive with lots of amazing places to eat, drink & shop. Laura was really friendly and helpful and quick to reply to all of my questions. We went for a Sunday roast after checkout at the new inn in Baschurch which was amazing - would definitely recommend. The beds were really comfortable and the snug is decorated with such attention to detail!

Lovely place,perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle.Newtown is 5 min drive with lovely shops and walks. Lloyd and Maggie were so friendly and accommodating,we would highly recommend staying here... very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds... Awoke to a lovely view of an alpaca, very calm and quiet location

Another lovley stay at Darren and Lindsay's place. This time it was the cabin which is my favourite. Extremely private, fabulous views. Place was exceptionally clean with everything you need. Hot tub literally just outside sliding doors. Gorgeous deep bath and fab shower. Grateful for bottle of wine too 😌 100% will stay again

This was our second visit to the Lodge, and yet again it was a fantastic experience. It is cozy, comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Delia is a fantastic host and I would encourage others to stay if they are in the area. We hope to return again.

Absolutely fantastic stay. One of the best we’ve ever had on AirBnB. The bothy is just rural enough that you feel instantly calm while still having all the comforts you need. The place is spotlessly clean (sometimes the trade off in more ‘rustic’ properties is the cleanliness but that that is absolutely not the case here). Everything we needed was provided. We were so comfortable and cosy. It really was such a lovely place to relax and switch off. Jack was so helpful, responsive and friendly. 100% recommend.

Sally’s cosy cabin was so perfect for a couple night’s getaway with stunning walks easy to reach. Would highly recommend the Carding Mill Valley loop! The cabin had everything and more, every time we needed something, we’d open a drawer or cabinet and there it was. The cooking shed was also a delight with an easy to use pizza oven and BBQ, we brought all the food we needed for a couple of nights and only left for a long daytime walk. Biggest plus was the gated paddock area so our little cockapoo could explore without risk of escaping. With such wonderful hosts, we’d happily revisit the cabin again and again.

Perfect for couples to explore locally. Great village pub The Fighting Cocks 5 minute walk away (closed Mon and Tue). Mark's place is very peaceful, spotless and well equipped. We used to live in the village and this was just right for us to meet old friends.There are plenty of local attractions nearby SVR, Ludlow Castle etc. When we revisit this will be our must book accommodation!

Absolutely perfect get away, would only recommend if you have a car as the surrounding roads are a bit difficult. Very quiet surroundings and peaceful countryside. Would happily return for a longer stay. Everything within the lodge was very clean and well kept, bed was super super comfy with a beautiful west facing giant window and amazing views!

A lovely stay at Cynefin Retreats! The place itself was clean, modern and cosy! With the hot tub and firepit for those added holiday extras. Good location for exploring the surrounding towns and lots of nearby walks. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Lorna!

We had a great stay at the woodpecker lodge with our dog. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed relaxing on the decking and in the hot tub whilst admiring the views and the birds. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

Stayed the night for my partners birthday, decorations in the bedroom were the perfect touch. Very clean and tidy. Will be back soon :))

We recently stayed at Richards place with our toddler and Frenchie. We were so pleased when we arrived the place was beautiful. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The outdoor garden area was much bigger than we thought. It was all totally secure too which was a massive benefit allowed us to let our toddler and dog run wild. Inside everything was as described. It was bigger than it looked on the pictures too which was an added bonus. We found the bed really comfy and we were able to fit the travel cot in the bedroom with plenty of space. The hot tub was perfect! Greatful for the advice provided as never used a wood fired hot tub before but managed to get to grips with it quite easily. Also had a bbq which we weren’t expecting to use in march however the weather was too good not to. Really close to Worcester about 15/20 minute drive which was great for us. We visited Worcester woodland country park which again was great for the toddler and dog! Perfect stay

Fantastic place. Lodge is very well equipped and spacious. Fantastic hot tube and sauna with great views. Huge bonus that is under cover! Dogs loved it as much as us. Would love to come back in summer months when you get to enjoy garden a bit more! There is everything you need! We left our Nintendo switch and Pam rang straight away and posted it back to us! Thank you again for a great stay. We’ll be definitely back as soon as we can x
