This villa is amazing, we had a wonderful time and at full occupancy it was not camped at all. Only drawback is the accessibility, you 100% need to drive and the roads have big drops and are quite tight with blind sides and the locals use them as a racing track! The local beach is brilliant, very steep so you need to be relatively young and very fit, I run marathons and worked up a sweat but it is doable for a fit adult it is 4.5km and a large drop and incline. Make sure you stock up as realistically the shops are around 30 -40 mins away, there is a small shop at the beach though for emergency supplies. On the flip side the you are in the mountains, amazing views and pool was fantastic and set-up was perfect so if you are after tranquility it is perfect. Jas is super helpful, great comms and Rosa is lovely although doesn't speak English so use Google translate to Siberian. The comms from Jas is perfect, he even has a video of driving up to the accommodation. Best host ever!

We had the good fortune to find Andrea and Diana's home late in the season after the rush of tourists that fill the restaurants and clogg the local roads. Our timing helped make our first experience in southern Croatia less stressful than it might have been. The home was spectacular. The modern house is located in a quiet neighborhood village on the outskirts of Dubrovnik with ample space for parking. The roads in the village are tight, but roadside mirrors help. Because of our timing many of the restaurants around the house were closed for the season. A cafe with incredible views and reasonable prices was within walking distance. The local mom and pop shop was open in the morning and late afternoon, but was not opend during their ample early afternoon break. If you're driving bring groceries with you. That being said, Andrea and Diana had the house stocked with essentials from bred to cereal and milk. That was a fantastic treat. The kids loved the pool!

Dubrovnik es una ciudad hermosa, y este alojamiento fue perfecto para emparejar al mismo nivel. Muy espacioso y cómodo, con un diseño de interiores único. Está muy cerca del cable car que te lleva a la montaña y a tan solo 2 minutos de una de las entradas a la ciudad amurallada. Para terminar, el patio y la vista fueron perfectas para descansar y disfrutar por la tarde, lejos del ruido y bullicio del turismo. Muy recomendable

We had the most amazing time at Villa Old Castle! There were six of us in our travel group and we reserved the entire castle for our five-day stay. Filip and his family were incredibly kind, and helpful, and went above and beyond when they made us a traditional dinner and shared their homemade grappa and wine with us. I highly recommend booking the entire place for your stay if you can. We loved having the castle all to ourselves. The pool area and restaurant on the main floor were great areas for us to gather all together, and the separate apartments gave us our privacy when we needed time to relax on our own. Filip and his family were phenomenal hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent stay.

We loved our stay at the villa. The location was ideal being a short distance from the airport, Cavtat and Dubrovnik. The borders to Montenegro and Bosnia are also nearby. We hired a car for our stay and would say it’s essential to really appreciate the area. The villa has a homely feel although a bit dated in its interior decor, it worked so well for us all, enabling private areas and space. Aircraft did fly by but did not affect our enjoyment of the property. The real plus for us all was the outside space …. So gorgeous with fruit in abundance; kiwis, limes, pomegranates, figs, apples, damsons and quince. The outlook was stunning and the pool was perfect and cleaned regularly. The nearby beach was 20 minutes walk away. A steep decline but stunningly beautiful. Local wineries are worth visiting and their produce impressive. Anna was very approachable and helpful.

Ivana's place is perfectly located, right at the entrance to the Old Town, by the Buza Gate. Everything is walking distance and the place is always full of life. She is so friendly and helped us get to and from the car park when we arrived and when I was heading back to the airport. Would highly recommend for people looking to experience the Old Town! It really does feel like living in King's Landing for a few days

When we first arrived we were slightly concerned by the smallish rooms, separate apartments and view spoilt marginally by telelphone cables. But honestly , as we stayed longer at the villa it was perfect. You can walk to the baker at the bottom of the hill for daily breakfast. The villa is clean and tidy and modern albeit the cupboard space and bathrooms are small but modern. Marko was a lovely host and gave us fresh meat and cheese. Our best day was the boat trip to the islands, swimming in caves, cliff jumping and a lovely seaside lunch in Lopud. You can pay for hotel facilities at the bottom of the hill (5 min walk) - tennis, badminton, jet skiing, beach and restaurants which are all fabulous. We didn’t hire a car and used Uber which isn’t the easiest but doable. Restaurants in Zaton were lovely. You cannot get bored of the amazing view from the outside area with a lovely salt water pool and loungers with unspoilt views to the islands and passing boats. Highly recommended stay!

What a beautiful home Diana and Mihaela have! We spent a week here with friends (4 kids and 4 adults) and there was plenty of space. The layout is so well designed and the locked gate made it so we never worried about the kids safety. It is just a 5 minute walk to the grocery store and shopping and a 10 minute walk to a rock beach and marina for easy ferry transportation to Cavtat and Old Town. Ubers were aplenty and the home was spotless. 11/10 recommend this place, you will be coming back!

Roko was an excellent host and the house was wonderful for our family of 7. Plenty of space and beds for everyone, including bathrooms! We really enjoyed the location in Lapad, getting to go on daily walks around the coast, while still being not too far from old town. We already want to come back, thank you for a great stay!

We had an amazing stay! Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Some of my family members arrived on a Sunday and as the local shop was closed Nike drove them to a bigger supermarket to get food supplies for the house. She did not need to do this but it was greatly appreciated. Location is amazing. Approx 15 mins taxi into Old Town and Uber cost approx €9-10. Local shop 5 mins walk and well stocked. Area is so peaceful and setting absolutely stunning. We enjoyed many days sitting out on the terrace just admiring the view and peaceful sounds. House was spotless and had everything you could need. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to return again and would definitely stay here without a doubt

A wonderful villa with lots of entertainment. Billiards, basketball, swimming pool, barbecue area and so on. My family and I enjoyed it. We really liked the beach 5 minutes from the house. I also want to note that our requests were always answered very quickly. We will come here again! Thank you very much

This home is a short drive to Dubrovnik and is between the two harbours of Srebreno and Mlini which have lovely little cafes, restaurants and beaches. You can walk for bakery and basic groceries or drive 5 minutes to a larger grocery store. The pool area and view is spectacular. We ate all our at home dinners outside on the large dining table. It would be nice to have a few basic kitchen supplies in the smaller kitchens by the bedrooms (plates, cups, glassware, cutlery) but we managed easily enough by bringing them up from the main kitchen. This home was perfect for our family of 3 couples and a baby. Mato was warm and welcoming and gave us great parking advice for Dubrovnik!

What a lovely way to kick off a holiday with our family - on arrival Diana had prepared some local meats and cake as a welcome. The house is 5 star luxury, the view is stunning, beds are so comfortable, and we loved using the outdoor kitchen by the pool. This is the best stocked airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Diana truely made us welcome and is a fantastic host. She helped us organise dinners and a day out on a boat. So many great memories from our holiday. Thanks Diana you are simply amazing.

Beautiful private house with pool. House was spotless clean when we arrived and three bedrooms with own bathrooms was really appreciated. Cavtat is a cozy little town not that far from Dubrovnik, with nice restaurants and more relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend renting a car to get to places and grocery stores, since the house is on the outskirts of the town and there is no walking path. But with a car/uber it’s not a problem. We enjoyed our privacy, no neighbors in sight and beautiful mountain views! Thank you Jelena!

The house was perfect for our stay. It was spacious and had the most spectacular view. I knew that there would be a lot of stairs, but that’s inevitable in Dubrovnik. The view was definitely worth the walk up. We had convenient access to all of the sights of Dubrovnik and had a great time. Sanja was available and responsive before and after our stay. She recommended a great outfit to rent a boat for the day and coordinated a ride to and from the airport. We will definitely stay there again if we return to Dubrovnik.

The house was impeccably clean, stylishly furnished, and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, and the host was very friendly and helpful – highly recommended!

A lovely, well-equipped house with all mod cons, and things that made it a fun place to hang out with the family, such as a pool table, table football, an outdoor BBQ and fantastic pool. The view was stunning; we loved the location by the waterfront and near the Dubrovnik marina. It was wonderful to sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down. We took the canoe out (saw a kingfisher), and went out on the bikes, which were provided. It's a bus ride into Dubrovnik old town, which is an amazing place. We would have welcomed an information folder with local knowledge - for example, we weren't sure where to catch the bus, or find the local GP surgery, etc and came across by chance an amazing bakery with caffe bar on the last day, which we would have frequented quite a bit had we known about it. When we did ask the hosts for information, they came back promptly with a response, however.

Le logement de Matija est conforme aux photos et à la description, la villa est au top mais surtout ce qui rend votre séjour agréable c'est l'accueil très très chaleureux de Matija ! Matija est hyper réactif et vous accompagne même avant l'arrivée dans sa belle villa ! Encore MERCI Matija

Great couple of days in this gorgeous villa. The initial drive is a little hair raising in parts, but worth it and not a problem on subsequent drives; we're used to driving in hilly locations! Very homely and stylish with lots of interesting artwork, light ing and furniture. Beautiful pool and outdoor areas for relaxation, amazing views and so peaceful. Has everything you need in the kitchen to cook a meal if required. Highly recommend if you want to stay off the beaten track.

Die Villa Miriam ist stylisch und schön ausgestattet. Die Räume sehen aus wie auf den Bildern. Praktisch war auch die Toilette draußen im Poolhaus. Für den Ankunftstag haben wir Lebensmittel und Getränke im Kühlschrank vorgefunden, was sehr gastfreundlich war. Auch Handtücher für den Pool waren vorhanden. In der Küche darf man keine Lebensmittel offen stehen lassen, da es Ameisen gibt. Wenn man alles wegräumt, ist es aber kein großen Problem. Wir haben die property Managerin über die Ameisen informiert, aber sie sagte, man kann nichts dagegen tun. Der Weinkühlschrank hat nicht funktionierte trotz Reparatur. An der Grenze haben wir einige Male eine längere Zeit warten müssen (bis zu einer Stunde). Es ist eine Glückssache wie viel dort los ist, da wir zu verschiedenen Tageszeiten unterwegs waren. Wenn die Grenze frei ist, kann man Dubrovnik sehr schnell erreichen. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr schön und die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

I would just like to say how beautiful the apartment is. To top that off Irena was a fantastic host, very helpful and responsive. This made planning days out / trips even easier. When I go back to Dubrovnik I will be contacting Irena as the villa contributed to a positive holiday!
