Great value for money accommodation in a quiet rural location but close enough to pubs and public transport. Good location for exploring the wider area by car, bicycle or train.

We had a lovely stay here, we were attending a wedding and so didn’t get to make the most of the beautiful location. The annex is separate to the main house, is exceptionally clean, access to the garden was via large bi fold doors to the back with a lovely garden and scenery to enjoy a morning coffee. Arrived to the log burner lit and the house ready for us. Tea/coffee and fresh milk had been left which was gratefully received. The kitchen well stocked for cooking and everywhere clean and tidy. Hosts were so friendly and great at communicating quickly, next time we are travelling in the area would definitely stay here. Can recommend in the summer for the peace of countryside with a pub a short walk away, or a cosy retreat in the winter.

Spotlessly clean, easy to access and very private. Good to have fresh milk and water provided.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at the River View barn. The barn was lovely and so peaceful with a beautiful view. We had such a great time and would recommend this to everyone.

Very clean, bedding and towels smelled great. Hot tub was very relaxing, nice farmland surroundings and would recommend shoes/boots that can withstand the mud!

My son and I had a wonderful stay at Penny’s house. She and her husband are amazingly friendly hosts and they did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The house is full of character and feels very homely. It’s got everything you need, nice bed, kitchenette and a comfy sofa. We found it easy to walk into town or catch the bus at the end of the road. All in all we had a great time and hope to be back one day!

I was here for work and the area was fantastic. Great place to walk my dog in the morning and evenings. Fantastic facilities like gym and coffee shop. Would happily stay again even if not for work.

The Pavilion was comfortable and well equipped, close to some beautiful walks and many excellent pubs. Liz was a very responsive host and to be met with milk, bread, butter, eggs, marmalade etc - all you needed for breakfast - was much appreciated. The beautiful bunch of daffodils was also a lovely touch. We had a great weekend and thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Nancy's - the room is beautiful, spacious and private with a lovely view of the garden. The shower was great, very modern. Nancy had left clear instructions explaining how things worked and where to find things locally, also some fresh milk for coffee/tea. It was an ideal place to stay for a weekend event in Hadleigh, being only a short drive away

Really enjoyed our stay. The accomodation was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. Isabel was very responsive to any queries. Would definitely book again.

We were attending a function nearby, needed somewhere to stay, it fitted the bill exactly, minutes from the venue. Very comfortable, quiet location. I'm sure I'll be back!

it was our second visit to Heather's, we have another booked in July. it's cosy and beautiful, clean ,amazing shower, the absolute perfect annexe. so quiet and peaceful. already looking in next years diary to book again! thank you Heather for having us

We hebben een fijne kerstvakantie gehad in het huisje van Susan. Gezellige woon- en eetkamer, lekkere en schone bedden en voor de kinderen was het leuk om in de garage tafelvoetbal te spelen. Vriendelijke, behulpzame host. In de omgeving zijn verschillende mogelijkheden voor leuke uitstapjes.

Clean, easy to find, perfect for our stay in Chelmsford.

The perfect location for visiting Dedham Vale and the beautiful surrounding countryside. We found Marilyn and Claire to be outstanding hosts, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The accommodation was as described. Key points for us were a peaceful location, comfy bed, large bathroom with plenty of hot water, and a private patio that overlooks the tranquil garden. A generous breakfast was included and an excellent system was in place for all the washing up to be done for us. A truly comfortable, enjoyable three night stay. We highly recommend you book this accommodation!

The property is exactly as described. The hosts - Tony and Masha - are very helpful and friendly. They also gave us lots of recommendations on local restaurants which we would never find by ourselves. Location is perfect - near the beach. We have enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend it.

Very nice little Airbnb. Just off the beach and lake. Really lovely location. Was well equipped and lovely responsive host. Very affordable and good value, would come back!

Great place to stay. Great friendly hosts. Everything we needed for our stay. Loved the decking area that looked over the lake. Stunning view. Prefect location for us as had a wedding at Gosfield Hall.
