We stayed at Bottom of the Boden for four weeks and it felt like our own peace of heaven. Selma and Andre are always friendly and helpful, as well as their staff. We loved our view and couldn’t get enough of the beautiful sunrises. Bottom of the Boden is really excellent value for money.

Virginia that met us upon arrival is such a delight. Thank you to Gavin for making a special effort to meet and check if we needed anything additional.

We loved Temple Botanica for being so accommodating to us and our dogs. We appreciated the privacy and loved the gardens.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was beautiful, cozy, clean and very well equipped with all amenities. The area was quiet and safe and it truly felt like we were home away from home. I would recommend the place to anyone travelling to and around Boksburg.

A colleague and I stayed 2 weeks with Chante, working at Tambo hospital. Good location, close to work. Well maintained and with a friendly host. The apartment is clean and daily maintained. A very nice garden to relax. Flexible cleaning times when changing day/night shifts and generally always available for help or questions, including an occasional wash for our well used scrubs. Perfect, thank you so much!

Rene and John are amazing hosts, and the property is way, way, waayy beyond expectations. The surroundings are peaceful, the solar and borehole water make it an absolute must stay for short- or long-term tenants and the hosts are absolutely private, friendly and extremely accommodating. We will most definitely suggest this venue to anyone that needs to rest, relax, focus on work or even to use as a base to discover Johannesburg and Pretoria and experience the serenity of nature and peacefulness of the security offered in the community.

Wow! Timothy's place is such a cosy, tidy crib. Its spick and span. Linens smell fresh. Everything looks new. The bed is very comfortable. Faith,the co- host is very friendly, very responsive, always smiling and made us feel right at home. I'd recommend this place to anyone at any given time

Very nice and clean place. Flexible with check in and check out time. We had to stay till 18:00 and she didn’t ask for money. Close to the airport…We will come back 😊

The place is quiet, beautiful and had everything we needed to make our staff very comfortable. We enjoyed our holiday because the accommodation was comfortable, more like home away from home, even my 10 month old baby was catered for with a high chair and cot. I will definitely return for future holidays in SA and I 101% recommend this place especially for small families, it’s exquisite and the hosts are friendly and hospitable.

I’ve stayed in Airbnb all over the world and Nicolette is hands down the most incredible host. No detail is missed - she ensures that you have everything you could possibly need. Her property is beautiful and she is so hospitable. This is my second time with her and will definitely back - highly recommend!!

The unit is far from main house, location is on the right side of neighbourhood close to highway away from river, property has power back up, and very friendly hosts who want to go above and beyond to ensure a good stay. I had a late check in and the host had no issues. There is internet and a desk to work in the evening. I would come back.

Lovely guest house on Dumisani’s property. Huge amount of space in the Airbnb. The fittings and amenities are old but are still in great condition and everything was made sure to be clean. Great value overall and will definitely go back when visiting Johannesburg again!

I really enjoyed my stay here, this place stood out to me for having all the necessities to live. It's really important for me to have a full kitchen and a laundry machine, I stayed over a month and had no issues with the equipment. Jacqui was already easy to contact and responded quickly to me. There was unfortunately some issues with local electricity in the area that Jacqui had no control over but was still very informative and helpful and trying her best to assist.
