My family had a great time at this chateau! The house and views of the river and surrounding woods are more beautiful than the pictures! The hosts were great, from the prompt and clear communication throughout the reservation process and throughout our stay, to the amenities that were available for us, to the local recommendations of beautiful trailheads our total family enjoyed. The chateau's proximity to Multnomah Falls and Mt Hood were an added bonus. Overall a great vacation getaway I'd highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

We loved this cabin, especially during the snow and its proximity to Mt. Hood. We enjoyed the big table for card games and the super cozy living room and all the charm and fully appointed kitchen. It was perfect for our small families and we will definitely be coming back!

My family and I stayed at Kelly’s place for two nights while doing a ski trip to Mt Hood Meadows. We had a wonderful time and could not have asked for better accommodations. The scenery was absolutely stunning, next to a rushing river. The house offered great amenities, like a sauna, hot tub, game room, games, and a well-stocked kitchen. We appreciated having a pack n play and high chair for our little ones to use. Kelly was always responsive and provided some really thoughtful touches, like treats and water, upon our arrival. We hope to come back when the weather isn’t so rainy, so we can enjoy the fire pit and hot tub some more!

We had the most wonderful stay at this home! Beautiful property right on the Sandy river with magic. The house is well appointed with all the things a guest needs for comfort: great beds and linens, a cook's kitchen, lots of sleeping areas, a fenced yard for the little ones and dogs, easy parking, a super eclectic and fun record player and collection, a screen for movie viewing (which is not in the bunk room but in the living room,) lots of gathering areas and the view and roar of the river. Our birthday celebration with family and friends was very satisfying for all. Our host, Michelle is a true Super Host; responsive and kind and helpful!

We absolutely loved staying here. Our entire group was instantly stunned when we walked into the house. It had a beautiful view of the river and made the whole place feel more open than it was. We took advantage of the fire pit by roasting smores at night and found dry wood by the fireplace inside the house. The kitchen didn’t have extra trash bags but I messaged our host to see if they were hidden around the house and they immediately came by and dropped off some! We’ll be staying here again!

This cabin is perfect for a private and fun getaway. The view and accessibility to the river, the hot tub on the deck, the cozy interior were just perfect for a 3 day weekend. The kitchen is tight but it had everything we needed. The washer and dryer came in handy and I especially loved the jumbo couch in the living room.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin with our toddler. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, making us feel comfortable and safe throughout our visit. The host’s communication was excellent, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

This cabin in the woods was the perfect place to have our girls craft weekend. We were delighted by the thoughtful details and fully equipped home. So many linens, towels, and appliances. Beautiful art and decor. We had everything we needed and more. Could not recommend this space more.

My family and I had a wonderful time for spring break! The cabin was great for us and our three sons. The upstairs area is really accommodating for younger people and the riverfront and serenity it was amazing. The kitchen was very well stocked and they even left a bottle of wine!

Really appreciate this cozy stay with private river access to the Willamette. It was lovely. The massage chair is not to be underestimated! Would def stay again in warmer season to take advantage of water amenities like paddle boards and canoes. It was a bit cold to do so this time around.

Chris’s home was super comfortable with well stocked kitchen and anything you’d need for a getaway. The setting by the river is magical- we saw bald eagles and other waterfowl even in midwinter! Imagine relaxing in the hot tub after a day of snow sports with a view of the river. It’s a perfect spot to get you away from the rat race for a little while! We hope to check it out in warmer weather soon

Absolutely fantastic! This place was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! Beautiful location. Extremely cozy and well decorated! Super comfortable beds/sheets. Spotlessly clean! Lots of amenities, including a hot tub, sauna, fire pit and fishing poles. Everything was supplied to make our stay welcoming and seamless. Thank you so much for hosting us! Saving this as one of my favorites and definitely hope to be back one day. ♥️

The house was just like the pictures which was beautiful with an incredible peaceful river out back! The house was right in the middle of the city of Portland with all the great food and all of the trails around Mt Hood. It is a great space for those that want something very private with plenty of room…we would definitely stay again!
