We had a family trip with a child and grandparent and this place was just perfect for everybody. The location is great, not on the main loop but still close to everything. The apartment was perfectly equipped even more than we expected. Very comfortable and highly set up with entertainments. However it was a condo but it provided a mountain house feeling. And additional they have a parking garage that is a bonus over the expectations. Definitely would be our choice at next trip too.

We stayed here for a weekend and wish we could've stayed longer. This home is at the top of the homes that I have ever stayed in -- lots of room for everyone, two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, hot tub, fireplace, the list goes on. If you're looking for a quality home to stay in while you're in Government Camp, you can't go wrong here. It was also really close to Mt. Hood Brewing Co. and a short distance from other great places in town.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Sarah’s place. She reached out in advance to let us know exactly how to find the place and get in. I really appreciated her proactive communication. The condo was exactly as described. It had everything we needed. We were there to celebrate my kids’ birthdays and we were able to bake their birthday cake in the fully stocked kitchen. The condo is walking distance to the town of Government Camp and the Ski Bowl East. We snowboarded at the Ski Bowl and Timberline which was a 15 min drive away. I highly recommend the Ratskellar for a fun dinner and atmosphere. We also wound up driving 15 min into Rhododendron each morning to go to Fernie’s coffee. Fernie’s is the BEST but also because the coffee shop in Government Camp is only open Wed-Sun. So be prepared or make the drive, it’s worth it. I also recommend that you hit the grocery store in Sandy on your way in. Although Govy market has most of what you need. We’ll def be back!

Wow! We have stayed at some beautiful properties in government camp, but this was by far our favorite! The home was gorgeous, extremely clean, and had such a comfortable layout for a big family. They had all the amenities and more with the fully stock kitchen, Xbox/huge flatscreen, pool table, hot tub, and sauna! We really appreciated how available they were to communicate with. When we asked very last minute about early check-in, they got us right in and we’re kind enough to give us a late check out because it worked for their schedule and it really helped us out. We definitely will be back!

We love the convenient location and dedicated parking space. We come to Gvt Camp every year and thus us by far our favorite rental.

Very comfortable home and was much bigger and more accommodating then I expected when I booked, would definitely recommend and book again if I was in the area

Carol's house was so charming and cozy! We loved our stay and had walkable access to the food market and one of the ski lifts. It was only 5 miles up to Timberline ski resort and Mt Hood, which was stunning and perfect for skiing. Highly recommend this location and historical bungalow! Thanks Carol! We will be back.

We came up for a long weekend to celebrate a family birthday. We wanted a place close to skiing, with a nice hot tub. This place was perfect for our needs! The hot tub is absolutely awesome. Very clean and well kept, overlooking a very private forested backyard! Plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is very well stocked, they even have electric mixers, several different versions of coffee maker, and a Vitamix blender! The black squirrel is so cute and cozy, and pretty much right across the street from the government camp shuttle stop, about a five minute walk. They also had lots of kids toys and entertainment; several baskets full of Magnatiles, Duplos, Lincoln logs, etc. Our three-year-old even started learning to play chess! The rental management company is very friendly and helpful, and their office to pick up and drop off the key is right on the highway as you enter and leave town. I would highly recommend this cabin, and the rental managers as well!

This was our family's second time staying at the cabin, and we'll definitely be back! The cabin is well appointed and very comfortable.

Cute and cozy cabin with a great wood burning stove that heated the whole house nicely. Couldn’t have asked for a better location - walking distance to Government Camp restaurants & only a few blocks from the Summit Ski Area. Will definitely be back soon!

We all loved this charming cabin. It has a lot of character. A bit on the older side, and some of the features may be due for refurbishment (Shower, sinks), but overall a comfortable experience.

The cabin was even nicer then the photos. Very comfortable and cozy. Great location too. Sherry was a wonderful host. We will stay there again.

We loved the house and the location. It is a great spot for us and we want to return here for our annual winter getaway.

We had an incredible stay at Kelly’s cabin. It was way more spacious than we even expected from the pictures which was a nice surprise. It was extremely clean and comfortable. There are a couple flights of stairs (if you’re traveling with a baby or someone elderly) but was totally fine for us. The location is very convenient. It was so nice that snowshoes and hiking poles are provided, though the trails were packed down enough that we didn’t use them. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cabin or book another stay here!
