We had an amazing holiday at The Timber House! The place is in a great spot to explore both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Gordon and Sarah were super helpful right from check-in and gave us great tips for local places to visit. Gordon even went above and beyond and planned a lovely trip for us to Stonehaven, taking us through scenic back roads and recommending the perfect lunch spot. We really appreciated their kindness and hospitality. The house is easy to get to from the motorway but still feels really private and peaceful. Thanks so much, Gordon and Sarah, for making our holiday so special — we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely stay at James house. Met the cleaner who was very friendly and welcoming catering to our needs. Hot tub was lovely. House very clean and decor modern and up to date, well maintained. Didn’t explore the local area too much but loch leven is near by if you have a car. Pub across the road looked nice and small co-op within walking distance for bits. Many takeaways in the area to choose from on just eat.

The Bridge house was the perfect spot for our travels near Edinburgh! It was an easy drive to Stirling, the Kelpies, and only 5 min from the train to Edinburgh. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous! Each room is decorated so beautifully, and we felt so at home right away. Dawn and Robbie were wonderful and left us fresh baked bread and eggs from their chickens! They gave us some great tips and recommendations, and made the stay even better. The beautiful backyard with hot tub and sauna was my son’s favorite part! We hope to stay there again one day!

Amazing house, so cute and interesting. Lots of space for everyone to hang out, play games, read books, or do what they like. The detailing in the kitchen is so picturesque. The hot tub was fantastic and the view was amazing. Lovely walk and got to see some spring lambs!

Steven was an outstanding host. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. He was very welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We truly appreciated his attention to detail and warm hospitality. Highly recommend staying with Steven — we would be happy to return!

An absolutely charming place! We stayed one night and were smitten from as soon as we checked in. The loveliest little touches in the interior, from the record player to the board games and books, and oh, what a beautiful garden and outdoor experience to behold! Amazing stay and step back in time with this unique lodging at an historic estate home. Combined with modern needs and amenities, so it was perfect for our needs. We loved the city of Stirling and wish we had a couple more days here to see all this area of Scotland offers. Thank you!

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

Very welcoming upon arrival, showed us where everything is. Good appliances. Comfy atmosphere. Very willing couple, will help you out with what they can! Eg; directions, places to eat/drink. Hot tub nice and clean. Can’t fault the place or the hosts. Genuinely a good night stay. Recommend 100%

Had an excellent stay here for my sisters 40th birthday. Great location and very close to Balloch for food, drinks and a walk. Would definitely come back.

Vielen Dank fuer drei sehr angenehme und schoene Wochen in der Glenardle Villa. Das Haus hat seinen ganz eigenen Charakter und Charme und liegt wunderschoen mit Blick ueber den Golfplatz und das Meer dahinter. Die Kommunikation und der Austausch mit den Gastgebern Aaron und Florence hat super funktioniert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent place with very good rooms and en suite bathrooms. The rooms on the second level were a bit small but very comfortable. The living area was huge and the kitchen was very well equipped. The hot tub was a great addition and helped us a lot when we returned from golf. The location is very good and an easy 10 min drive to the main part of the city. The drive to St Andrews was very easy and convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Really enjoyed our stay for a family celebration, great open plan kitchen, living, dining and garden lovely for spending time altogether. Flexible bedrooms - able to make one a twin. Clean, well equipped and luxurious feel. Two full bathrooms. Street is quiet, feels safe and parking easy, no shops, cafes, bars etc. within close walking distance. Bus or Uber both easy to get into city centre and was nice to escape the hustle and bustle after a day sightseeing and at the festival. Suspect price was higher due to time of year and compared to other properties we viewed were very happy we chose this one. Rachel was very prompt with communication, instructions, restaurant recommendations and help when required.

Excellent stay in lovely house. Plenty of space and well equipped. Immaculately clean. Great location, quiet, nice view of Loch Tay. Hosts very friendly and really quick in response to any questions. Would recommend and stay again myself.

We loved every minute of our stay here. The cabins were superb. Very clean and well maintained. They were even bigger than expected. The grounds were also very well maintained and kept. It was a lovey quiet place, and felt so homely. There was a ‘visitor/guest’ book left and it was so helpful with local directions etc. We have already started looking at dates I we can book to stay again. 5 star rating from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really enjoyed our stay here. The lodge was clean and full of useful items.

We had 3 nights in Lomond 5 with our two dogs. It was comfortable and peaceful and provided all we needed for our little break. Would love to be able to go back soon

We enjoyed our stay here, even though the weather wasn’t on our side in the later part of the day the shelter above the hot tub meant we could still enjoy it! The pod was clean, tidy & more spacious than we thought it would be. Lynn was a great host & came to greet us to show us how the hot tub worked & even gave us some fluffy bathrobes which came in handy when it got slightly chilly outside. our only small gripe is that this is on a campsite & we did have campervans parked in front of the pod and at the side of it which meant it didn’t feel complete private getting in and out of the hot tub however once in the hot tub it was shielded off. Aside from this it’s a great place to stay and well worth the money!

lovely for a few relaxing nights away. cabin was perfect and very clean, and great surroundings for walks.
