We enjoyed the stay, as Floridians were not quite used to mountain driving so it took a bit longer to get to and from than we had thought

Our group had a fabulous time at the lake home. Jerry was an excellent host who gave us clear instructions on getting to the house and checked in with us during our stay. My kids were thrilled with all the fun activities in the downstairs space and wanted to be on the lake with the canoe and pedal boat as much as possible (despite the cold temps). Bedrooms were comfortable, and we loved cooking in the spacious kitchen. Easy drive to different hiking trails and into Knoxville. We hope to return in the warmer months to be able to utilize the amazing outdoor kitchen.

John was so helpful and accommodating for our college softball team of 23 people. His precise directions and active communication were extremely comforting and offered an easy check in and check out process. The home itself was great and spacious with lots of fun activities to do and the area was so peaceful, would definitely come again!

Very nice place. Dock is a bit tight for larger boats. Nice concrete path path to the dock but steep and turn around is a bit hard with the provided side by side. Overall good experience.

Stayed as a family four, two year old and five year old, and found the house to be the perfect size for our family. All listed amenities were available and since we booked the property was updated to now include a beautiful new deck in the back of the house with a grill and traeger smoker. Both kids greatly enjoyed the playset and the fenced in yard gave us peace of mind with the kids running around. Would recommend staying here and Michael is a great host who is responsive to messages and provides clear check in/check out instructions.

Great hosts. I really enjoyed being able to fish off of their dock. I got crappy Bass and a 21 lb Flathead catfish.

Overall, everything worked out well for our short stay. The biggest surprise, as well as what we appreciated the most, was how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. We cook a lot when we stay at vacation rentals and appreciate having a lot of pots, pans, utensils, etc... The house was incredibly clean, they obviously have a good cleaning service. The house is in a small, quiet neighborhood and is easily accessible from I-75; no long, winding back roads like other homes further down the lake. The kids had a blast playing games in the lower level. Just for awareness: The upstairs has an odd layout, with a bathroom "barn door" that when open, blocks the hallway to one of the other bedrooms. Most the mattresses did not get any complaints, but the one I was on upstairs was incredibly lumpy and had sunken down and was not comfortable. It doesn't show up in the pictures, but the driveway is super steep.

What a great place to spend a weekend vacation with family and friends the Cabin is gorgeous the host was super responsive and helpful with all of our questions I highly recommend this place

Nice location and great views. Liked the double decker dock. Place was clean - second cabin was nice - definitely older but the main house was updated and very nice. Had several kayaks and a paddle board. Life jackets available if needed. Roads were nice and easy to travel on to get there. Hosts required contract to sign which seemed a little excessive but they were prompt to response to any questions.

Our stay was short but perfect! Krista was so responsive and even reached out to let us know if we needed anything! The cottage was perfect for my family and just as described. Looking forward to coming back!

We had such a Wonderful Thanksgiving weekend in Sneedville with our family! Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us and our pups. It was exactly what we were looking for!! Such a cozy cottage with beautiful surroundings. Thank you for being so flexible with check in! We will be back in the spring for sure and for all of our other trips to Sneedville. I stayed at this cabin for 3 nights with a couple of friends and it was the perfect spot! Having the property to roam is really nice and access to the lake. They have a ton of large cabins all near each other on the property so it would be a great place to have a family reunion or retreat with a large group. I would recommend staying here overall!

We greatly enjoyed our extended stay at this cabin. They have preserved the age, but brought in modern amenities such as Internet and updated the fireplace. The views from the sunroom were stunning and able to be enjoyed even in freezing cold weather. We will be back!

Had an incredible stay at Carol’s cabin. Perfect lakeside getaway with an incredible view. Carol thought of everything - even had fresh baked bread waiting for us! Worked great for our group of 7. Would absolutely recommend.

Lovely cabin! stunning view of the lake. We were a family of 8 and it suited us beautifully. My mother and father have limited mobility and it was wonderful that everything was on one floor. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to make meals. The layout was great for all of us to be able to hang out together. Super comfortable family room furniture. It was warm enough a couple of days to sit on the porch. I enjoyed having my coffee and reading while listening to the geese and birds on the lake. Rita was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a peaceful location! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the river, birds and bugs :). The cabin was well supplied and the hosts did a great job of ensuring that essentials were all covered with more than enough for the duration of our stay, and we really appreciate it. Our dogs had a great time playing in the yard. I cannot think of a more peaceful place to stay.

This cabin was the best - well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, clean everything! We stayed here to ride trails and the trailhead was 2 mins from house. The house is very secluded with beautiful views and absolutely no traffic. We had 8 people staying with us and had plenty of room. Plenty of towels for all and having the 2 washing machines with dryers was super helpful to keep towels clean! Lana was super quick to respond and sent very detailed instructions to check in and check out. If we are ever on same side of mountains, we will definitely stay here again! If it is available, book it. You will not regret it!

Sweet little cabin with a lovely view of the river. Amanda even had it all decorated for Christmas! It was super cold during our stay and the cabin stayed nice and toasty warm. Bed was divinely comfortable. Amanda was great to deal with and even left us fresh eggs. A couple of notes for potential guests..the driveway is extremely steep. We have a big 4wd vehicle but a 2wd car might find it challenging. Also FYI, restaurants that serve alcohol are few and far between in the area, so if you are looking for a cocktail with dinner, you will struggle.

This was a gem of a home and rental experience. Taylor was extremely easy to communicate with and the entire rental process was simple and efficient. The home itself is well represented in the photos, it actually surprised us as being much nicer; a great mountain cabin vibe. The appointments/extras were well thought out and made the stay feel like being at home. This could not have been a better rental experience. If you are looking for a top notch host and home, this is your pick.
