Fantastic cottage in a stunning location. We loved being just a few minutes ' walk from the beach. Richard and Kate were very friendly and helpful. would definitely recommend/stay again!

What a magical place to stay! The views and location were incredible and the house itself was so clean and well appointed. It was our wedding anniversary during our stay and we had lovely surprises waiting for us upon our arrival, which made our celebration extra special - very thoughtful and generous of our hosts! We had the most wonderful time in Portree and on Skye and can’t thank David, Alexander and Katherine enough for their kindness, hospitality and for sharing their beautiful home with us ❤️

Ein wunderschönes Cottage in ruhiger Lage! Man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause! Wunderbarer Sunroom mit Aussicht aufs Meer! Alan war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Lagan Glas is a beautiful, luxurious cottage in a magnificent location. We had a fantastic week on Skye as a family of 5 with our Labrador. The cottage has everything you’d want for some relaxation time: XBox for the kids, log burner to drink a whisky by and stunning views to stare out to. The kitchen and dining area are superb and very well equipped and the bathrooms likewise. The location in Glendale is stunning (as is every corner of Skye) with a lovely circular walk via a rocky beach for the dog to run about and an excellent cafe for a pit stop. There’s also a very special vegetarian restaurant and tea room not far away. Karen is super helpful and swift in her responses, with excellent local insight and suggestions. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Lagan Glas and Skye in general.

Fantastic hosts with a great welcome, fresh flowers everywhere and a visit from Sara to see if we were OK. The house is amazing with so many great features but the views of the Summer Isles and beyond are simply stunning. Very comfortable house with everything you need.

Very nice cottage with a stunning view on the lake. Lovely, big Garden with rabbits. The cottage was very clean, super well equipped and decorated. It had various sorts of tea, coffee, hot chocolate powder, oil, vinegar and spices, and Undine had even left a big box of shortbreads for us. The communication with her was very easy and all Information about our stay easily accessible. We will recommend it to our friends !

Great location for peaceful break or exploring Skye - beautifully clean, cosy and homely house - Fabulous views from house - Host provided clear instructions for the house plus lots of additional local info/suggestions - We would highly recommend, and would love to visit again.

Beautifully decorated and well appointed home. Great location - 5 min walk from the co-op, 15 mins walk to the centre of Castlebay. We stayed with our two young kids and their grandparents. Everyone was comfortable, there were appropriately designed bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all ages. The house was warm throughout and features a comfy living room, big dining table - and a bright and welcoming kitchen with a nice, smaller table for breakfast. Definitely hope to stay here again and happily recommend.

We were very happy about our choice of cottage; particularly as it is pet friendly. Our hosts were very proactive in terms of communication - it was good to be warned about being well prepared in terms of provisions - no nearby shops! The cottage is wonderfully peaceful which suited us; it was also wonderfully warm - especially the bathroom with its heated floor; this made the cottage an excellent retreat on the one day of bad weather that we had , if necessary the bathroom could have been used as a drying room! We enjoyed the space; properties with just one bedroom can be cramped but as the photos show, there is a table with 4 chairs in the kitchen; the lounge has two sofas and in the bedroom you can easily walk on both sides of the bed. The bedroom has generous storage. The surrounding garden is a delight. Another reason for choosing Blossom Cottage was that it was reasonably close to the Three Chimneys restaurant. There are many excellent walks nearby, some of which we enjoyed.
