Our group has been coming to The Shack for almost a decade. It’s been fun to see the place evolve as we’ve had a kid and starting bring them to the shack—the swing set was a HUGE hit with our 2yo. Heidi and Darrel are excellent hosts—very communicative and definitely go above and beyond for camp hosts. Can’t recommend this more for your next car camping adventure. Oh, and if you’re skilled, maybe you’ll catch a trout!

I absolutely loved my stay at this little cabin! The location is perfect, close enough to town that it's easy to drive to shops and restaurants but situated in a beautiful, natural setting. Natalie and Scott were incredibly kind and obviously very passionate about providing a great experience for their guests. The cabin has everything you need and was so cozy and comfortable. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit to Port Angeles!

Incredible stay in the PNW! Perfect location for exploring the Olympic National Park and could not have asked for a better stay. Adrienne and Jim are such kind and welcoming hosts, the breakfasts were amazing and the treehouse is beyond gorgeous, very comfortable and warm. Loved it!

It was a very pleasant stay. I loved the cozy atmosphere and the outdoor shower was really cool. Christine was very kind and kept in good communication constantly. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay at the cottage! came to work an event at the fair grounds which were within walking distance which was a huge plus! It slept 3 adult and two children comfortably. Definitely would stay again!

This little cottage was so beautiful. Such a great location, close to town but close to the ocean as well. We felt we had good privacy as well. Such a clean space and I felt at home and welcome to use the space. Will recommend and will be staying again in the future!

We used the Mountain View cabin as our base camp to explore the natural beauty of the Olympic Peninsula. Cozy, quaint, pristine, private, and perfect… these are the adjectives that best describe the cabin. It is nestled into an area on a farm behind a privacy tree barrier near the Sequim Valley Airport. It’s close to the Olympic Discovery Trail, and we absolutely LOVED watching the planes from the back porch! We enjoyed the modern decor of the cabin, and the bed… this has got to be THE most comfortable bed EVER! There are nice patches of grass for a dog to do his or her business. The hosts were awesome and responsive (due to inclement weather, we arrived extremely late, and they were very sweet in responding). Their house manual is comical and full of helpful information on things to do in the area. We want to make a return trip this summer when the fragrance of lavender is abundant. We will, without question, book this cabin again. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Bethany’s place if visiting the area. It was spotless, had everything we needed, and our pup felt right at home with the fenced in yard and basket of toys! Loved the large bathroom and private feel. Bethany was super easy to get a hold of and was pleasant every step of the way. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing time at Shonda and Brian’s home! They were beyond welcoming, their home was so clean, and they even provided a lit campfire and smores supplies. My daughter loved the forest walk with hidden gnomes. This was an over the top experience!

Excellent location if you’re looking to visit forks! The location was phenomenal and the rental was very clean!

I loved our weekend getaway here; you can’t beat those views and we had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t! We also seriously considered researching what kind of bed and frame was in the bedroom because of how comfortable it was. We’ll hopefully be back sometime soon! Perfect stay.

We had a great stay at cabin #2 at Mill Creek Inn. It is such a cute little cabin with everything you need in a great location. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy, quiet, and clean cabin with a gorgeous view that’s right by the lake. Was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary, and close enough drive to many attractions. Bathroom was clean, kitchen had everything we needed, and bed was large and comfortable with a heated blanket. Board games/entertainment and the fire pit outside were a plus! Overall, was the perfect stay and would visit again!

The cabins were exactly what we needed! My 84-year-old mother enjoyed the fire and cozy cabin, my brother spent the day fishing, my sister-in-law and I got out to the Hoh Rain Forest, and I was able to have some peace after the recent passing of my partner. It is such a wonderful space near the river...and we enjoyed having lunch in the town of Forks. Thank you!

From the moment I booked with Joy, I felt like I was in great hands. When I arrived, I was greeted by her family and dog, and everyone was so sweet and helpful. Throughout the stay, it was very private, I didn’t feel like anyone was hovering or looking in on the space. The pictures of the cabin just do not do it justice. I mean the pictures were gorgeous, but to see it in person with all the expert craftsmanship, breathtaking. I absolutely adored the A-Frame and the amenities were amazing. I recommend anyone who wants to stay in or near Port Angeles, to try and get this place, there will be no regrets. There are so many great things to do and explore in the entire area, then come back to the A-Frame and relax and unwind. It was so peaceful, you felt like you really were in the middle of the woods by yourself and no one around for miles. My entire stay and experience 10 out of 10.

This was such a beautiful, cozy spot right up next to Olympic National Park, tucked away with an amazing view of a lake and the Olympic mountains. The cabin was perfect, we really enjoyed the wood burning fire place and all of the comfy furnishings. The kitchen has everything you need and more. They had board games and movies, though we spent most of the time enjoying the view and surroundings. We visited in February, so the snow made it even prettier but I bet the summertime is also an amazing time to visit. It was very easy to find and only about an hour drive from the Hood Canal bridge. I am definitely adding this to my list of favorites!

This cabin was fantastic and Jon and Cynthia couldn’t have been better hosts (including giving us helpful advice on our travel plans!). Beautiful cabin, beautiful location…a perfect stay!

The cottage on the lake was an absolute dream. Even better than the photos! Self check in was easy, her directions to find the place were easy to follow. The home was very clean & welcoming, bed & couches super comfy. Shower heated up quickly, kitchen was well stocked, heater quickly made the home cozy. De Ann has thought of so many things to welcome guests & all her little touches were perfect! There’s a grocery store just around the corner that seemed well stocked, but not many options if you have dietary restrictions so plan to stop at another store further out of town if you’re vegan, gluten free, etc. Forks is about 15 min away & La Push Beach was maybe 30 minutes. Head East & you can be at Lake Crescent or other fantastic trailheads within 30-45 minutes. My 17 year old daughter & I absolutely loved our stay, had a great time exploring the surrounding areas, & would definitely return. Highly recommend!

This was a very lovely place to stay. Absolutely comfortable tiny home. Close to so many activities. It snowed the first night we were there and the landscape and little creek were so pretty. Host was immediately responsive when there was a surge that knocked out the internet. It was a wonderful vacation and we’d recommend this place to anyone. We are definitely coming back during a different season.
