Loved our stay! A homely cottage, perfect location to walk to town and back (5min), the bath was welcomed after a day of exploring and the food provided was appreciated as we cooked up a home made breakfast enjoyed on the veranda. Highly recommend!

Beautifully presented 'Cute Cottage' with so many special touches it was as if I had arrived home. Flowers, bread, butter, coffee machine, teas and even some exquisite little choccies !!!! So close to Taylors Winery and a Hotel which has a super Restaurant in the Cellar surrounded by fine wines. Top place. Thanks from us three women who loved our stay. Pity it was only for one night. a great cottage for our small group of friends to attend a wedding in the Clare area. easy check in and well located close to the Main Street to make cafes, shops and activities walkable. would recommend to any groups visiting the Clare area

My husband and I came here to celebrate my 50th and loved it. Peaceful, private, ample breakfast provisions. Walking distance to the look out and a couple of wineries. Sitting on the verandah watching the sheep and birds and being woken by the Kookaburras was so refreshing.

The accommodation was as described, rustic and as you would expect a hand made home to be - a few cobwebs and a bit of dust, but lovely. Walking the property was a perfect getaway, and being able to sit on the veranda while our child played in the scrub was a real treat. Getting away, far enough to really disconnect from Internet etc, was so good for the soul. Will definitely come back!

Really enjoyed our stay with Robert. The history of the homestead is very interesting and he was a really attentive host proving quassants and coffee for breakfast. Watervale hotel is amazing as is Paulettes - note stay inside when you eat or wear mosquito spray as I was bitten when we sat outside at Paulettes.

Nice place. easy to find and close to the towns attractions. Clean, pet friendly and good size backyard. Lots of little 1 percentage surprises also.

A good location for access to local features, including Burra Heritage Passport. Enjoyed being away from the busy townships.

5 plus stars from my whole family. The home and vineyards are pristine. There was so much to do both inside and outside. We cannot speak highly enough of David or Cookie as my children now call him (feeling comfortable with him straight away). David went above and beyond the entire trip. I had a wonderful stay at Vicky’s place! The location was peaceful and private, providing a perfect retreat. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, and Vicky was a helpful and welcoming host. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
