Lesley is a great host who gave us clear instructions for getting in and parking which was very helpful. The area is really neat. This is a fun, convenient, and clean stay to experience Martinsburg and the surrounding areas. She even gladly helped us re-book when we last minute decided to stay longer to check out Harper’s Ferry! With all the help and local recommendations we would absolutely recommend.

The space was very nice and full of light but also private. Very clean. Vi and her husband were great hosts and very responsive and friendly.

What a cozy, beautiful place! We felt right at home here and didn’t want to leave. We loved being greeted by the chickens and having them escort us to our car 😆 We also loved enjoying our morning coffee on the deck in the rocking chairs. The bed was so comfortable, the bathtub was great for a nice soak on a cold, wet night, and the water pressure was great too. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Bnb experience ever!!! Emma was so sweet, I’ve never had a host literally think of everything from lip chap to a dog bed! The space was cozy, clean and so peaceful. Netflix was already logged in so all we had to do was relax and login. Everything from the thoughtful kitchen supplies to the bubbling little creek all work together to make this the most amazing stay. Emma herself was pretty amazing, down to earth and so helpful. We loved the space and can’t recommend it highly enough, but the unexpected surprise was how good the bakery was. I’m not exaggerating. Best bakery I’ve ever been to and I’m a foodie who has traveled all over the world! I wish I could eat here every day, then again that would probably be a problem. Anyway, stay here I promise you’ll have no regrets.

I had a great stay here! This spot was exactly what I wanted and more! From the crystal lamp to the Cats of the World book, a lot of thought went into the way the place looked and what they provide for their visitors. I will definitely return here! 10/10 from me!

Had an amazing stay at this property! The house was spotless and so well-maintained. The owners were incredibly accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool area looks fantastic, and though it wasn’t open during our visit, we’re already looking forward to coming back when it is. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! 5 stars all around!

This is such a cute house. Plenty of towels, washcloths and blankets were provided. It was very clean and amply stocked. The owners thought of everything to make this a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It is on a busy street which can be tricky to pull out of at certain times of day but the road noise was hardly noticeable inside the house. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely book this house.

Stayed in Pat’s place for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect. I don’t think we’ve stayed in any other place as well-prepared for guests—it had everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. The property was just as beautiful as the pictures and was like a home away from home. Pat was also a great host from the time booked until checkout, providing plenty of local recommendations and checking in to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommended!

Convenient and spacious. This older building has been slightly remodeled. It had everything we need and the host was very responsive when we had a request.

My sister was visiting from Canada so we decided to head to Virginia to hit some wineries and breweries. We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s place! It looked just like the photos, was clean and cozy, and a perfect place to unwind at the end of the night with a glass of wine. The hosts texted us recommendations of stuff to do in the area and we had an amazing time. Great couch and TV set up, very comfortable beds, and beautiful wooded surroundings. Highly recommend for any trip to the area!

Bear Chase Cottage is just lovely. It is way more spacious than the pictures can show. We loved having a fireplace. It was cold the weekend we were there, and it was so nice to be warm by the fire. Very relaxing. Bedrooms are perfect size, and the beds are very comfortable. Very nice to have 2 bathrooms. The fenced yard is great. Our greyhounds enjoyed running around the yard. Hopefully we will get to stay again!

House was just as described! The living room was a great place to gather and socialize with everyone. No TV in the common area was a bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

It was a tidy and comfortable location. Mainly a place to eat and sleep for me. Very close to where I was doing work, so very convenient.

Stayed for four nights. Highly recommend this rental. Very comfortable and very nice location. Felt very homey. Close to the Walking Mall which we really enjoy. Plenty of restaurant options within walking distance.
